Re: GLoG XLVI: With a Maraschino Cherry On Top.
(Infirmary)
"Don't worry about it ma'am. I didn't know it would do that too ma'am."
Butler tilts his head, realizing something. "Actually I have no idea what it is you tried to do ma'am. Just that it hurt ma'am." :smallconfused:
He seems really bad at holding a grudge.
-
Re: GLoG XLVI: With a Maraschino Cherry On Top.
(Infirmary)
Of course; he's Butler! Butler the Sunny.
"Well, it's called Laying On Hands. It's something I can do as a paladin that heals people. Except you seemed to have a bad reaction to it. However that means that it's likely an Inflict Wounds spell would actually heal you, instead."

Re: GLoG XLVI: With a Maraschino Cherry On Top.
A planet called Cybertron. Our race is called Transformers.
-
Re: GLoG XLVI: With a Maraschino Cherry On Top.
I see. Is your kind common around here? I haven't meet one before.
-
Re: GLoG XLVI: With a Maraschino Cherry On Top.
Helen, ready to leave her room, leaves her room, and heads downstairs to train some more.
[training room]
Helen's practicing Dagger-tail-holding, and fighting with it.

Butler appears to be processing.

Processing.

"Inflicting... wounds... causes... me... to heal... ma'am?" He says it very slowly, emphasizing each word.

Re: GLoG XLVI: With a Maraschino Cherry On Top.
Runner shakes his head. As far as I know, I am the only one here.
-
Re: GLoG XLVI: With a Maraschino Cherry On Top.
(Infirmary)
...he didn't even say ma'am! :smalleek:
"Wound-inflicting magic," Quinn hastily adds, lest Butler go off and start trying to hurt himself to heal.
-
Re: GLoG XLVI: With a Maraschino Cherry On Top.
(Infirmary)
He did too. I have no idea what you're talking about.

Re: GLoG XLVI: With a Maraschino Cherry On Top.
(Infirmary)
"...sort of. But only when I do it."
Quinn decides not to explain further lest Butler's processors overclock.
-
Re: GLoG XLVI: With a Maraschino Cherry On Top.
Ah that explains why I haven't seen any. That must get a bit lonely sometimes though.
-
Re: GLoG XLVI: With a Maraschino Cherry On Top.
At times, yes. But, that is why I am glad to have friends here.
-
Re: GLoG XLVI: With a Maraschino Cherry On Top.
Well it is nice to find a place filled with such friendly people.
-
Re: GLoG XLVI: With a Maraschino Cherry On Top.
(Infirmary)
I think they're well on the way to melting down entirely. And Butler gives Quinn the queerest look too.
"Umm... alright ma'am. I'll just take your word for it ma'am." Because he sure isn't going to understand it anytime soon.
-
Re: GLoG XLVI: With a Maraschino Cherry On Top.
Runner nods in agreement. So, what brought you to GLoG?
-
Re: GLoG XLVI: With a Maraschino Cherry On Top.
I was injured, and a friend brought me here for healing. I had just ended my last job and needed a place to stay, so I found work here through Butler.
-
Re: GLoG XLVI: With a Maraschino Cherry On Top.
Do you mind if I ask how you were injured?
-
Re: GLoG XLVI: With a Maraschino Cherry On Top.
(Infirmary)
Quinn nods. "Well, then, are you feeling completely OK now?"
-
Re: GLoG XLVI: With a Maraschino Cherry On Top.
(Infirmary)
"For the most part ma'am." Butler moves his arms and legs a bit to make sure. It'll probably be some time before that arm is as strong as it once was. And who knows what sort of brain damage was inflicted with all those head blows he took? Not that it'd ever be noticeable...
"Is Misaki still around ma'am?"
-
Re: GLoG XLVI: With a Maraschino Cherry On Top.
Well I was traveling with my old boss when we were attacked. I was the only one to survive, and just barely at that. She frowns at the memory.
-
Re: GLoG XLVI: With a Maraschino Cherry On Top.
(Infirmary)
"She is, but she's out right now looking for stuff planning a wedding." Quinn smiles. "I think Val and Daisuke are in for a surprise when she gets back."
-
Re: GLoG XLVI: With a Maraschino Cherry On Top.
I am sorry. I have felt similar losses before.
-
Re: GLoG XLVI: With a Maraschino Cherry On Top.
It was no great loss, just not a very pleasant experience. Though I am sorry to hear that you have suffered losses like that.
-
Re: GLoG XLVI: With a Maraschino Cherry On Top.
(Infirmary)
"I see ma'am." Then he could do that thing after all.
"Val ma'am? Who's that ma'am?" :smallconfused:
He knows Daisuke. Kinda. Barely.
-
Re: GLoG XLVI: With a Maraschino Cherry On Top.
Right now, my race is going through a civil war. One that has been going on for centuries.
-
Re: GLoG XLVI: With a Maraschino Cherry On Top.
Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. She frowns any war that lasts for centuries is definitely not a good thing.
-
Re: GLoG XLVI: With a Maraschino Cherry On Top.
(Infirmary)
"Oh, you haven't met her? She's fairly new." Quinn smiles. "Daisuke's kinda sweet on her. Seems Misaki and Abigail have decided to speed things up there."
-
Re: GLoG XLVI: With a Maraschino Cherry On Top.
But, enough of the bad things. What do you do normally? Before you came here, I mean.
-
Re: GLoG XLVI: With a Maraschino Cherry On Top.
I was a personal servant for my old master. I worked for him. Yep that pretty much sums up her life before coming here, except for her early years in training.
