[Infirmary]
Ah. Who would want that? she wonders aloud. Sorry, that's beyond my abilities. She turns to look at Brendan, wondering why he's putting a hand on her shoulder now specifically.
[Infirmary]
Because he expects her to be a little disturbed at being in the same room as a corpse?
Especially a Happy corpse. :smalltongue:
...and/or maybe because he is.
Brendan's face does look a little green...
"I think whoever it was is being dealt with." Quinn says, smiling a little. "And thanks anyway. I guess I'll have to find somebody, or a scroll or something..."
[Infirmary]
No, she's seen corpses for a long time, quite often. Doesn't bother her anymore. But she will put a hand on Brendan's shoulder, because he seems upset. Maybe he liked Happy.
Okay. We'll go, then. And Ashna tries to take Brendan out of the infirmary, away from the scary psychic paladin lady.
And deadtimes again. Be back later.
((Quinn: "What? Why does everybody think I'm scary?!" :smalltongue:))
Brendan follows Ashna out. Probably a good thing he didn't see Charity.
Am, ... where are we going? she asks after a while.
You wonder what?
"I wonder if we could get home if we went into the manse and found its hearthstone."
Possibly. I'm not sure, I'd have to study the manse itself.
Nimai nods. "I think maybe I'll ask Anila and Blue if they feel up to going."
Do you mind if I come along, at least until you find it? Seems very interesting...
"I don't mind," Nimai says.
Goody.
So, where exactly is this manse?
"It's out in the countryside," Nimai says.
((Deadtime))
[Lakeside]
Tyril is careful to not be close to anyone or any public area as she makes the nessecary symbols, signs and runes to make the summoning circle.
Eventually she kneels down in a prayer just outside the circle, there is a lot of magic that is about to be activated here inside of this ritual.
"Bhaal, you that gave yourself to the light, you who cleansed your own corruption, please hear my plea, a humble servant of the light you gave yourself to is in need of your aid. Please help me save the innocent from corruption, please help me destroy the monster that is spreading it." She prays, her eyes closed, her head bowed in awe before the circle, her ears pointing downwards. She looks very humble.
The dark amulet is in the middle of the summoning circle.
[Lakeside]
Ironbeard the Dwarven ghost watches Tyril as she prays, but doesn't interrupt.
[Lakeside]
Tyril appears to finish her prayer and there is a sudden surge of magic in the area. Within the circle a shining fire starts to burn, growing every moment, it soon takes the shape of an huge heavily armored humanoid creature with an horned helmet and eyes burning even brighter then the flames it's made of.
Servant, I have heard your prayer and it will be conceived. The taint will be cleansed, the corrupted ones will be redeemed and the dark ones shall fall.
The area is flowing in magic after the semi-arrival on this entity, it's still bound to the ring. The dark amulet inside the ring suddenly bursts into flames and is reduced to ashes.
"Bhaal, master of the burning light, you already know why I have summoned you. I can not face this monster alone, I need your blessing."
You will Tyril. But my time in this world grows short. I can only direct as much of my power as this weak circle can take. I will give you Tanok, the ever burning flame to aid you along with another of your precious dragon amulets. The light watches over you Tyril.
And with those words the entity known as Bhaal had left this world, remaining in the now outburned circle however was a small flying fiery creature carrying another hourglass shaped amulet around it's neck.
Tyril stood up, the circle had been reduced to ash along with every rune, sign and symbol she had spend hours making right and looked at the creature.
It was a birdlike beast, shining brightly in the flames that enveloped it.
It made a small screech and joined Tyril at her side, letting her take off the amulet and put it inside the pouch in her belt.
"You will do... now I have more corrupted to save. To Trogs, we must save Memzee"
The creature follows her along to Trogs.
[Walking across the grounds]
Right. To see if DSee is ready, or any other thing. Bye.
Ashna will walk away from the deadtimed Brendan, and head towards Trog's.
So, where are the other two who you're going to ask to come with us?
Yamako is standing in front of the infirmary, in full combat gear (i.e a Kevlar vest, 2 ARES Preditor IV heavy Semiautomatic pistols, and a monofilament shortsword)
All right. Let's go and ask them.
"Right." Nimai heads for the last place she saw Blue.
And Caros follows her!
Blue isn't there.
Nope.
Not there are all.
But he might be somewhere else. Possibly as an NPC. Sadly Rebo finds the character utterly banal and uninteresting.
Such is life.
However!
There are some neat mushrooms growing on that tree over there!
They may or may not be poisonous.
A pheonix streaks across the skies.
It dives at the mushrooms, because it's hungry. It swallows them in one gulp...and exactly fourty-three and seven-eighths of a second later, it bursts into flames and dies.
Guess they were poisonous.
Luckily, minutes later, a pheonix egg is in the ashes, and a baby pheonix starts breaking out of the egg.
Yamako watches the phoenix from infront of the infirmary, still in full combat gear
Nimai and Caros are stopped in front of the infirmary by yamako: sorry, but there are new security regulation inplace for the infirmary at the moment. if you could please remove all weapons, magical items, potions, and electronic devices before entering, and wear this magic inhibitor
"Why?" Nimai asks in her best "I'm an innocent, curious little girl" voice.
