college level what? Personally I'm as much a mess now organizationally as i was in high school. Which is probably why I will never write a webcomic. The fact that coffee is able to put so much detail into this world and release it a fairly steady clip while still maintaining her studies is astounding to me.

Re: Murphy's Law 8: College? What About It?
Heh, it's a lot harder than it looks. And my schedule's probably going to be more erratic next year, since I'm starting my animal physiology concentration and taking organic chem. But that's next year, and this year is done! I'll work on the comic a bit tonight and I'm heading home tomorrow!

Re: Murphy's Law 8: College? What About It?
I dunno about you Coffee, but I've found my computer engineering specialization stuff easier than the general ed and lower division classes at times. :smallwink:
There's hope for you yet ^_^
-
Re: Murphy's Law 8: College? What About It?
Oh, certainly. There are also cases where some general ed classes are more difficult than other general ed classes that they happen to be prerequisites for. For instance, in my college, calculus II is considered to be far more difficult than both calculus III and IV.
Ah, weeder courses. Tough and unfair at times, yes, but they at least keep all the poor/undedicated students from entering careers where their mistakes have the potential to kill people.

Re: Murphy's Law 8: College? What About It?
Yeah, and Orgo's like the ultimate weeder course. :smalltongue: I think I'll be fine though. I got one of my semester grades back yesterday. Turns out an A- actually lowered my GPA. :smallamused:

Then you have a high enough grade to make a comic, EH?
*not being pushy at all*

And its times like this that confirm just how much more smarter you are compared to me.:smallamused:

Re: Murphy's Law 8: College? What About It?
Okay guys. Good news is I'm home. Bad news is that I won't be able to get the tablet until sometime next month. But the good news is that I'm going to get the comic up tonight (unlikely) or tomorrow (almost certain) anyway! I'll figure out another way to do one of the panels.

Re: Murphy's Law 8: College? What About It?
Okay, so photobucket's finally back up. Update time! Finally.
#183: What? It Was Hot Out

Re: Murphy's Law 8: College? What About It?
Looks like Lexington is an artist. If they do leave, maybe they'll meet up with Lloyd's group? He could use some help.
-
Re: Murphy's Law 8: College? What About It?
I may just be an idiot, but who are the people in the photo?
-
Re: Murphy's Law 8: College? What About It?
They're Lexi and Lloyd. Yeah, I wanted to draw that last panel myself, but eventually found a filter to run the pose through as a substitute.

Re: Murphy's Law 8: College? What About It?
Confirmed! Lloyd and Lexi are gay lovers (in visual anyway). Do you think it will have siege of laria?
P.S- I wonder if it has to do with 2 kids. Blood for blood god, anyone?

We do not even get + and - and yet I am so jealous. >_<
Comicwise, it seems the tension is growing. Can barely wait to see if they make it out alive! Great job! ^_^

What do you mean, a filter? It looks the same as the rest to me.

No, I ran it through a slight distortion filter. Take a look at Lloyd's head in the last panel.

You could always go back and change it when you get your tablet, if you like. I think it looks fine this way. Also, triple post.

Re: Murphy's Law 8: College? What About It?
Seriously. We don't need it in comic when it was Word of Coffee that told us it in the first place.:smalltongue: (Gay or bi, that is the question. :D)
Can Miles get some sleep now?:smallfrown: No, not with Lex. Get your minds outa the last panel people!

Hey, all i do for the comic I work on is write scripts, and that's maybe, MAYBE 10-15 percent of the work, and thats enough, heh.

Even without hearing from the author, it's pretty easy to figure out. There's only two people Lexi could be, Lexington and Alexis. Alexis is the one spying on Lloyd with Miles when Lloyd is practicing his pick up lines so it can't really be her.

You're on!:smallamused: (Totally using background knowledge obtained by writer on the decision of making the bet.:smallamused:)

Re: Murphy's Law 8: College? What About It?
The "big battle scene" of which you speak is heavily dependent on what you define "big" to be. For instance, Murphy's fight with the assassin might be considered "big" because it has been the only battle scene since comic 98. Comic 69, if you don't count the flashback. Therefore, any fight containing more than three people might be considered "big" because it will be the largest fight since almost half the comic ago.
Anyways, am I the only one who enjoyed that Continuity Nod to Saphrine?

For 98, I called it a war crime and massacre. I called it war if they pull out a gun (or at least something equivalent).

Re: Murphy's Law 8: College? What About It?
Hey guys; I'm going to update on or around Friday. I'm sorry; the past few days have really sucked.
