Nymphs tend to be like that. I don't think it's possible to draw them with any decency. :smalltongue:

Comment (I know weapons are missing )
I'm not all that proud of it, but it was my first attempt at anything like this.

I am perpetually dissatisfied with the hair.

Nice.
The heir might look better if you move the "top lock" higher on the hair, say halfway between the top of the head and the current position.
You could also add a short line (or stump) going up from the "eye-guard lock's" right side to indicate that the lock falls sideways above the other hair in that region. A short slight curve.
It is very good for a first attempt, even using varying lines thicknesses in hair. If cartoony was what you were going for, you nailed it.
Hi, everybody!
I don't really like its hair, but I can't figure how to make it better. If any of you could give me any tips at all, I'd appreciate it (The link is, actually, my current avatar).

Round the upper part and delete the line crossing it.
Something of an example:

Also, if it's a female you may want to make her mouth smaller and give the body some curvature so it's a bit more noticeable.
One question, What is that thing crossing his body diagonally?
Um, hi everyone. I wanted to show a couple examples of stuff I've worked on. Hope you like them.

I like him a lot. Especially the evil eyes  Although, one minor nitpick, his armor is all the same color and rather close to the color of the lines, which kinda makes him seem to blur together. The chest is good, but the helmet and arm/leg pieces are a bit hard to see. Maybe making the pieces of the armor subtlety different colors would help?
Something I threw together, an illustration of a character I may or may not get to play in an upcoming D&D game; she's a half-drow rogue/fighter, with an Elven Courtblade.

Please critisize
Yay, critique!
Thanks for the compliment. :smallredface::smallsmile:
The armour's supposed to look similar, since it's part of a set. But I can see your point. It looked more distinguishable when I was still working on it. Perhaps a lighter red for the arms and legs? I'll give it a bit of work in Inkscape when I get the chance. :smalltongue:
I'm not sure if I ever posted this here (I don't think I have, I'm not sure why either), just something I drew while trying to get inspiration for the drama IA.
Its original dimensions are for avatar size, here's a slightly bigger version:

I'm not super happy about the shoulders, but I had a hard time making them look like anything in particular in the smaller version.
Experimenting with perspective type things. Also lasers. Because lasers are cool.
The left face of the right side cube is off.
Also, nice.
Nice, although I got the "oh,heshe is a woman" thought when I looked from head to toe.
The thick border on the far-away wall looks slightly odd (I expect it is the same thickness as the one closer), the black is a much larger part of the object than in the closest. Reducing line thickness slightly might increase feel of distantness?
And yes, people should make more use of lasers in images.
Thanks! It is indeed Putress
The easiest way I've found to recreate WoW armor is to import an image of the character into Inkscape, and look over trouble pieces in one of the 3-d viewers available (WoWhead's is the easiest for me to use). Generally I try to make them larger first, then scale them down to fit to the 120x120 canvas size (if I'm making an avatar; otherwise I tend to keep it around 400x400). For example, when doing this piece for IA, I ended up having a HUGE picture of Kil'jaeden in the background to compare each piece of the image to.
She's meant to be pretty masculine looking (I just realized I should have made her GB look really feminine to compensate... v.v).

But yeah, I see what you mean about the lines.
Well, if it was an intention then you got full marks. ^^
In related news, she acquired red dragonscale boots recently, and I'm kinda stumped on how to draw them. The GB avatar features an attempt at them, but it looks more like generic red armor. Got any suggestions?
So, I've been experimenting with alternative art style's, namely interactive art, or at least that's the closest concept I can come in relation to this sort of images.
Screen tilting is required.

Hmm is a codex of somme sort required ? Because all I see is a compeltly blank picture.
