Oh, shadowcaller, I know it's been a while, but I posted in huntside if you still want to continue that story.

Oh!
Thank you.
I've been meaning to post there for several days. I'll go and do that today once I finished my riverside post.

Re: OOC 50: Over The Hill
The Guild = The Skyside Slaver's Guild. And as mentioned, they're actually more likely to act against Maasimo than for, and won't get involved if they don't have to be.
Also! They're got a 50% Thanksmas sale, if anyone's interested.
-
Re: OOC 50: Over The Hill
Hey, Reinholdt? I just want to let you know that despite Murkus' quick response, I'll wait for you in Riverside so you can go ahead and have Ilpholin finish her approach.
-
Re: OOC 50: Over The Hill
Alright, thank you for the head's up. In that case, I should have a reply up tonight/early tomorrow.

You guys can always hire Massimo for protection. I'll start the PM tomorrow, But beware! In dead timing this weekend.

Re: OOC 50: Over The Hill
In short. Arkant and the company he runs will likly do the same as the guild.
He is just less afraid of heroes.
His company is producing a wide range of stuff you see in the Nexus stores. People working for him are partly mindcontrolled and he got a secret lab underground

Re: OOC 50: Over The Hill
They could hire Massimo. They don't come out too often, though, and they also prefer capturing any assailants to killing them. More profit in it.
Hey, does Massimo just do guarding, or could it be hired to do something else? Because the Guild might say 'Hi, there's a town interfering with one of our trade routes. Take them out, and we'll pay you AND buy any captives'.
-
Re: OOC 50: Over The Hill
It's your turn in GLoG, Zefir.
-
Re: OOC 50: Over The Hill
Okay, wasn't sure if I should post. I'm to sleepy right now i post tomorrow.

Mercenaries, assassins, guards. Anything for more money. Yes, they could be hired to attack someone or a group of people and could do your scenario.

Re: OOC 50: Over The Hill
Only one good person?
Well, that won't do.
-
Re: OOC 50: Over The Hill
Hey Earl, Zefir and I agreed that you can skip him for now in GLoG.

To be fair, my character is liable to switch sides with a little prodding.

Hmm... in the hopes of balance, I can switch sides (Evil to Good) and characters (Jonas to Kurrack Lai link to character in my sig.).

Re: OOC 50: Over The Hill
You may have seen a rather creepy individual come to MERC to offer its members deals. But it doesn't seem to have taken. So, is there anyone who'd like their character to make a deal with a Fae Lord? I can have him find them, if so.

Hmm, Alduin would be willing to trade, as it seems that MERC's not going to pass along any information regarding Liadi :smalltongue:

Doctor John always likes making deals. Then again, he usually makes them foolish mortals, but he could always use more power...

Re: OOC 50: Over The Hill
I had a bogeyman emerge from Limbo back before Halloween, but I haven't followed up on it. He's inspired by a story online called Pact, by Wildbow. He'd answer to 'Mister Slash', 'The Glass-Man', 'The Glazier', and variations on that theme. If the King in Rags swore to keep him out of Limbo, he'd serve. He's in Riverside, but could move away.

Sorry, but there's only one Mr. Glass:http://img.techpowerup.org/171212/M2UzMmZkMzI1ZWE4.jpg
...and with that I bow out .

Re: OOC 50: Over The Hill
All of those sound good. Just give me the locations the King in Rags could find them in, and I'll get to it. Unless any of you would rather your character came to him.
Those deals won't necessarily involve serving the King in Rags. It might be something else in exchange for his favours. Apart from more tangible rewards, every deal he makes strengthens him.

Alduin is staying in riverside, waiting for some info on Liadi.

Re: OOC 50: Over The Hill
Mister Slash is also in Riverside, lurking in the alleyways. He wants to keep connected and associated with this world; if he doesn't, he risks falling back into Limbo, where Bogeymen come from. And no bogeyman ever wants to return, unless they are guaranteed a way out again, ideally after as little time as possible.
-
Re: OOC 50: Over The Hill
Well, I posted in Riverside for the King's searching for them. I'll run both scenes at the same time. Feel free to respond whenever you can.
-
Re: OOC 50: Over The Hill
So any new good guys for the skyside plot?
-
Re: OOC 50: Over The Hill
I can always hop in :) :)
-
Re: OOC 50: Over The Hill
I edited in a response to you in Riverside, Earl. I'd missed it initially.
-
Re: OOC 50: Over The Hill
Yeah, I know you had. So I was checking it periodically, and I've replied.

Re: OOC 50: Over The Hill
Hey NothingAbnormal? Your PM space is full. So with that in mind, I was trying to send this:
My character Kirk is trying to get a hold of Liadi. He's one of the lieutenants at Merc. For more context, you can take a look at this Merc post. If there's any reason she can't be contacted, just let me know. Thanks.

Hehe, the third to say something about the inbox, it has been cleared somewhat, and I accidentally replied in the thread
