Eric, I think it's safe to say Vaarth delays again. Does the dragon attack or sit there another round waiting for us?

Sorry, I meant to post earlier and was interrupted.
Vaarth casts Kelgore's Firebolt
reflex DC 16 for half
[roll0] fire damage +50% for 24 damage
I only have 1 lvl 1 spell after this
The bolt of fire hits the Dragon square in the face... the heat melts the dragons face, it cries out in pain and collapses to the ground, it breathes its final breath shooting a cone of cold that extinguishers the fire.
The Dragon has been defeated!
Celebration music
So I hope this is the part where they let us get out of the arena, no?
Yo! Arena guy! Am I alowed to keep the dragon's skull?
Sweet Vaarth says as he walks over to lop off the dragon's slagged countenance.
So the party cuts the head of the dragon off.... and leaves.
"So whats the reward from those fights I wonder? With two in a row, I hope it will be good."
The same Guy as before comes in to give you the prize money...
He comes in with a bag and sets it in the middle of the floor...
There's yer winnins.
"My interest is piqued, how much did we make," John will ask.
OOC: did we gain 1 or 2 levels
Bourbon counts the money, rests for the day, and then gets up bright and early hoping to find out what they will fight next.
"Anyone placing bets," John will ask.
There is 7592792 copper pieces in the bag...
The next day you hear people talking about the Hydra from the other day and why it could have possible got up after it got killed...
Then you hear someone say something about a huge creature that was shipped in during the night.
"Hmpf, thats almost seventy-six thousand gold worth," John says. "We could get some decent equipment if the store is open."
"They force us to compete and choose to pay in copper as compensation. Sounds like contempt to me. Clearly they wanted us to die in that arena..."
"I'm sure the store is open, so we should each have 18,981 gold equivalent to purchase new equipment. Plus anything you may have hoarded away. Let us go and blow what little we have on what may keep us alive, and bet everything else. Because right now, we should not expect to see next week. I hope to, but I am no fool..."
So... Do you go to the store?
After john rethinks the amount of coppers they just received he decides they should go to the store. "By the way, that is more than seventy-five thousand gold worth of coppers. Lets go to the store and get some proper equipment," john says to the others.
"that sounds like a fantastic idea" bourbon says and walks towards the store
We should probably ask when the new shipment is in.
So... Would it be correct to assume you all go to the store?
When you all approach the store, the man looks at you with critical eyes. I'm not sure how you survived that fight yesterday... but, you said you were going to place a bet but, never did... nonetheless, what can I do for you today?
Colt will give his shopping list to the storekeeper, and will bet the remainder of his money on the fight.
Bourbon also gives his list to the shop keeper, just to see if he has it all. But he holds onto his money.
