Then just wait for the actual concert and show up as concert goers.
As I said, I had an idea that Wenomir would become a metal guitarist... but he doesn't really have any way of getting there either and has more important stuff on his mind.
AMEN seems like a fun place, I plan to have a character in there at some point. I do have an evil character lined up, but I can't introduce them for a while, and besides, I'm not sure if they'd want to share global conquest with anyone but themselves... :smalltongue:
Also, small inquiry - can I conveniently have a few RL bands suddenly land in the Nexus to play NexusStock? >.>
hmm....this nexusstock thing looks interesting...maybe I should have a living and non depressed version of Din turn up there...or bring a one shot character out of perma deadtime again
Welcome back Moofin!
Drifter's back... for now...
I really ought to have the Eternal Library's description updated, with a notice of if wishing to contact Drifter to PM me to get my attention.
...Any luck with the destroyer of those books of his? I stopped paying attention...
Hm. BR? Could you have Shawna meet Wenomir in WATCHTOWER so he can tell her about Ebon Mirror, Tobias and Reinholdt all quick-like so she can then tell the others? I don't have much time and I'd like to get this done...
No, Kael seems to have vanished into deadtimicus again. :smallfrown:
Consider it done!
Meep! If anyone wants to run a Moff or three in the NexusStock thread, please help. I'm getting quite overwhelmed. :smalleek:
How does a Moff behave? :smallconfused:
With extreme win
On a serious note, there's Moff 2 around I think. Who's a stoner hippie
So, let's just say that I need a way to flex my Roleplaying muscles, and I would like to join in on this with a character who has strong morals and lives to protect those who cannot protect themselves. Where, then, would be the best place in this Nexus for me to jump in?
AMEN!
That would be the worst idea ever. Ignore me
Reccy is right to suggest the Taverna. HALO is...
Oh my gods, realization hit.
HALO must be, in reality, some sort of dastardly trap, a huge metaphorical strip of flypaper to snag good people and keep them out of the way so they can't bugger up villains' plans.
...
Anyway, HALO is not very active in kicking evil butt, but that's okay. I'm part of it and I haven't tried to change that...
I think GloG may be more active, and WATCHTOWER, but bunks if I know.
Cat's Guild is a new org devoted to protecting people, but you need to be recruited for it. You can't just show up in their base.
HALO is /supposed/ to be the one that fights evil, but they kind of don't. GLoG is all about love and forgiveness and redemption, and WATCHTOWER doesn't care about muggers and murderers, but only handles massive level threats like invasions and apocalypses.
Here's what you should do, Rae.
1: Disregard Project Mayhem. He is trying to trick you. ;p
2: Introduce your character in Trog's Tavern. You'll be bound to get picked up by someone there.
3: Try to guide your character towards GLoG, WATCHTOWER, or HALO. HALO is apparently not all that active in their butt-kicking duties, though you could try to MAKE them do something about the evil in the world. ;p GLoG is a little more active, but is actually more about redemption than about kicking butt. WATCHTOWER is totally about kicking evil's butt, but then also decapatating evil's head and putting it on a pike.
So you've got your pick of places to go. Or you could try anything else really. If you're under 15, you could have your character live at PACK where all the children character go, or if you want you could be a free spirit like Captain Tobias, and not be connected to any of the organizations directly.
Edit: Happy Ninja'd me. ;p
Hmm...maybe someone SHOULD make a character to whip HALO into shape...
NO! @_@; Bad Trobby. You have a busy enough week as it is, and for all you know people will HATE that character.
...But hate in a good way...NO! Bad Trobby! Go in a corner right now!
*sits in a dark corner*
...Mwehehehe...
Cat's Guild will welcome you! You're just in time, too. We're only getting started.
Well, if the character is absolutely new, we can skip the formalities and assume they've been recruited already, as long as the character is subject to the same rules everyone else is.
Yeah, thinking on it and after reading up on the organizations that were presented to me, I think I'm going to introduce my character through Trog's tavern and get his personality worked out before I decide which organization to join.
See you there, Rae. :smallwink:
When he meets someone especially nasty, he gets a vague sense of what they've done. Not clear memories, but he still gets the big picture.
The same goes for a person who was a victim of a horrible crime(a very horrible one).
But, either way, he won't get crystal clear memories unless he touches the victim, and they accept, or their corpse if there's just that.
So what does he think of KR? (And Wenomir and DC, to a (much) lesser extent?)
Hmmm. I have an idea...
I'm a) not sure how to carry it into an actual plot and b) sure that my long-running suckiness at playing villains will strike once more.
And Merrak? :smalltongue:
Course, he hasn't done anything really bad yet. Probably vague evil drow stuff in his backstory, but nothing to any PCs or nuthin'.
Honestly? He's kinda trying to avoid KR because of it. :smalltongue:
He knows several people in Watch have committed crimes, and tries to avoid bringing up the subject around them. He's still "human" and has kept his concept of allies and friends.
Especially since several of them would likely be able to kick his butt in a fight. :smalltongue:
It's a wonder Jeremy hasn't imploded just living at the Watchtower. It's like reformed Mass Murderers anonymous. With a leniency on the reformed. :smalltongue:
I'd have advice for Horngeek, but he was fairly vague and I don't think my advice would be all that great anyways.
Well, it requires someone who, for some reason, wants to resurrect a Homonculus.
...it involves a direct character from a series, and I'm not sure that's a good idea anyway.
