What a pretty kitten. And pretty nifty ears on the beastie too. Just about the quintessential cat's ears, them.
Nameless, have you gone through a growth spurt recently? :smallconfused: I'd swear you're taller than I last remember seeing you. And looking much more distinguished, I might add. :smallwink:

Maybe it's because the air hockey table I'm playing on is actually a tiny kid's one? But you're the second person that's said that to me this week. I hope I haven't though, I'm quite happy being 5'11. :smalleek:
And, why thank you.

Just look at the way it's holding it's paws. Clearly, it is practising whatever ancient martial art cats use.

That's actually a bit of an old picture (couple months old). This is more recent:
He definitely thinks he's a mini tiger.

Re: You! (A picture/Media thread) Thread XXXI: Roman Numerals Make Everything Fancy
Didn't think it would, but my short hair is actually kind of growing on me.
My hair grew back out to that annoying intermediate stage between short and long, so I spent an hour with my beard trimmer.
And for comparison, because this is possibly my favorite picture ever and I've posted it like, a dozen times on this forum: Two springs ago.
(What color would you use to describe that, by the bye?)

Same as my sister's, ash blonde is the term we've always used.
Though if that's not correct, then dark blonde.

Right on the border between brown and ginger. Either could apply.

I do have some reddish hairs, but they only show up in certain lights. And in other lights bits of it look goldish. It's weird, it's like my hair can't just decide on one color to be.

I think I'm going to have it grow out to sort-of-short instead of really-short though.

Sorry about the poor quality:

Re: You! (A picture/Media thread) Thread XXXI: Roman Numerals Make Everything Fancy
Hwell. After an extended hiatus (did you miss me? You missed me, didn't you? Tell me you missed me), I'm back, and bearing a few photos. Not as many as exist, cuz my friends are slackers, but anyway.
I just discovered today that I fit into a dress I haven't worn since high school or thereabouts. It's pretty excitement.
And also I went to a fancy pink and purple 21st birthday. It had a bouncing castle and was fricking awesome. This is the only one with me from it, which is far less awesome than the party (the birthday girl is the person next to me; not the photobomber):

In a couple of weeks I'll be going to Seattle for the first time! I'm sorta excited to spend a couple of days exploring a big city, celebrating my bf's birthday, and seeing my favorite band in concert again
(Abney Park, lead singer shown below). Hopefully it'll be awesome. Random Gnomish picture included.
-
Re: You! (A picture/Media thread) Thread XXXI: Roman Numerals Make Everything Fancy
OK, so about three weeks back I was in a Christmas concert with a theatre group, so of course I got dressed up.
Furthermore, some of you may have heard of the game critic TotalBiscuit? In this photo, I am wearing his hat, hence why I appear to be the smuggest nerd in the world.

Re: You! (A picture/Media thread) Thread XXXI: Roman Numerals Make Everything Fancy
My photo can be found on my site (Tawmis.com) as well as some voice acting demos in the event you wanna hear my voice! (Who would want to see or hear me is beyond reason ...) :smallconfused:

Blurry webcam photos of my haircut go!
It's nice not needing to worry about my kind of long hair anymore.

Short hair is so much easier. Plus you can get loads of people to cry if you go about the long hair to short hair process properly.
Looks good.

My favorite part of the reactions I get is when people don't recognize me because they haven't seen me with short hair before.
I've had someone offer to introduce me to my friends because of it. Actually, taking her up on that might have been funny.
-
Re: You! (A picture/Media thread) Thread XXXI: Roman Numerals Make Everything Fancy
I also had a haircut, and also took a crappy webcam photo of it!
No shirt because it's freakin' summer in Australia.

When I cut my hair short I came back in with my bandana as usual, and with glasses because I had lab that day. So I looked the same from the front, until I took off the bandana. That was fun.

I actually only really got tears when I cut it from really long (butt length) to sort of long (shoulder length). When I cut it again to actually short a year later everybody was just too shocked to react, except one friend who screamed and ran out of the building.
Edit: Dressing in uncharacteristic clothing (and switching glasses for contacts or vice versa if one is your normal look) and pretending to be somebody else is a good idea. You definitely have to follow through on that.

Echoing this statement. You look amazing, and I love your corset! I am also rather fascinated by the way your eyes turned out in that photo.

He certainly looks like the Tesla of baking...
And that's because in the other picture you're not wearing your glasses and the camera is making you look evil.
Digital cameras always do that to me...
I just didn't know it could happen to a brown eyed person.

Red-eye is due to the camera flash being reflected off the retina at the back of the eye...it has nothing to do with the colour of the iris.

Who is that mysterious masked bird-creature?
I guess we'll never know.
(For those of you who are surprised to discover I am male. I apologize. I have a very long explanation/apology I'd be happy to send you by PM, if you ask, just shoot me a PM.)

Yeah, it's the pupil that shows red, not the iris. See.

I only just signed up on the forums and it appears I've been beaten to it, my pictures are already here.
To be specific, I am the "Tesla of Baking" which Serpentine posted earlier
