Of course they all have attitude, otherwise they wouldn't be wearing the suits. I'm guessing you did not get the joke. :smallconfused:

I'm pretty sure the joke is that all teenagers have an attitude, therefore, "teenagers with attitude" is a pleonasm.

Re: D&D Demotivators Episode VI: Return of the JPEG
Tax, jumping on someone else's post...

No, that wasn't the joke I was making. The joke was that there are so many Sentai teams.
If you're familiar with the source material, why would this be hard to understand?

Re: D&D Demotivators Episode VI: Return of the JPEG
... okay now I'm just confused.
Whatever, here's a demotivator.

Re: D&D Demotivators Episode VI: Return of the JPEG
In the original Power Rangers intro, Zordon asks for "some Teenagers with Attitude". The jokes based on that.

Since I've only seen a few episodes of Power Rangers (the intro to the one where they got dinosaur pets, one or two from the original, and maybe one or two others), how do all the various incarnations relate to each other?

Re: D&D Demotivators Episode VI: Return of the JPEG
Thing is, these are probably not Power Rangers, they are Sentai. I.e. the original Japanese show, which is pretty much entirely unrelated to the American one.

Also, by that point a lot of those Sentai were old. Japan's got one giant continuity, but they swap teams after 1 year/season (Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers was like 3 Sentai Seasons with 3 teams). But the older teams are still around generally speaking.
So in that picture, you've got thirty years of Sentai grouped together. There are people in that group who have been saving the world for longer than I've been alive (barely).
And they all contribute equally.
Also, I think at least some of the Sentai teams recruited 20-somethings. Like, the Pirate Super Sentai (the ones in the front of that picture, and the next-to-most-recent team) look to be in their 20s during their season (though they're space pirates flying a giant red galleon spaceship zord, so maybe they skipped school).
/Pedantic :smalltongue:
But that giant crossover battle movie was awesome.

Thirty five, actually.
Thirty five teams of suited superheroes. And the Extra Rangers are off screen. You have to feel sorry for whoever's fighting them, though that pic is a promotional one...

In the Legendary War? The first 34 teams did, yes. Gokaiger... Not so much, since they weren't even a team, let alone on the planet yet. :smalltongue:

I thought that it was the majority of the teams who recruited people in their 20s... I mean, the first five, alone, are elite squads given superpowers by their military!
Pretty sure that only about 10 teams actually were teenagers...

Yes, it was.
BRB. Getting demotivator.

It's not a joke if it's the truth. :smallwink:
You didn't seem to be understanding the joke I was making, but it seems the others have adequately explained it now.
...I still need to watch the last 9 movies or so.

Re: D&D Demotivators Episode VI: Return of the JPEG
First time posting. Is it okay when the jokes are about roleplaying, but not of the tabletop variant?

I see no problem with it, but an explanation would sure come handy.

FAD!, these threads are notorious for going off the rails in utterly absurd and often hilarious ways. How could non-table top RPG posters possibly make it worse? But yhea, an explanation would be nice if it's a slightly obscure reference.

Re: D&D Demotivators Episode VI: Return of the JPEG
Thanks. This one references a Final Fantasy spell.
EDIT: Can you make motivational gifs?

It is most definitely inFamous. Great games.

It's inFAMOUS 2. Great games, both of them.

Re: D&D Demotivators Episode VI: Return of the JPEG
I figured it was the second. I didn't recognize the scenery. How was it compared to the first one?

According to the people I know who've played it, the second one is definitely worth playing if you liked to first one.
