Well, by that definition, none of the parodies in the comic are puns either, including the one with the word "pun" in it. So I don't see the problem.

I could care less. Aside from the use of Beetles/Beatles, there are pretty much no puns to be found here; obviously that's not of particular importance to anybody here.
Though your superiority shone through in every word of that post, and I applaud you for it. Not only do you not like the Beatles (such a risky opinion to present in these trying times!), but you can point out things of which we are already aware, and to which we are already noticeably indifferent. Good show!
Bless me, Father, for I have sinned, I have drifted into song parodies.
Here is my pun:
"Every summer we can rent a cottage,
that's far from Wights, if it's not too dear ..."
:smallwink:
>sung by Roy while waiting in the afterlife<
Help,
I need some body.
Help,
Not just any body.
Help,
You know I need some one.
Help!
How's THAT for sticking to the "pun" side of the thread?
hehe, I loved V's last line in this strip, mainly because I have a deep-seated loathing for the beatles.
"Live and Let Die" oh wait that really is a song....
Rocky Greenhilt / his fear it did wilt
He leapt right unto, a Z-dragon
Now Xykon was hot / Meteor Swam he shot
And Rocky tumbled from the dragon
Heading to the ground / Old Rocky had found
a summoning charm, from his lady
Lightning he had not / so survive he did not
Expired in a mannner most shady
Haley did see / and did promptly flee
Though she bore Rocky affection
Haley bugged out / and she left in no doubt
To help in Rocky's resurrection
Fangthane...
you are such a spiol sport.
All the boring people
Why do they speak in tonges?
"Falling! Yes, Roy is falling! At least he's falling , into soft sand!"
