It was a fine spring day on the farm. The sheep were baaing. The chickens were clucking. The donkey was braying. The llama was making whatever that noise is that llamas make.
Farmer Brown was going on vacation. After putting extra food in the feeders, he hopped in his pickup and drove off. Several sets of yellow eyes watched him go.
"Are they gone?"
"Looks like it boss."
"Alright, let's kill 'em all!"
"No! We still have to be careful. Stick to the plan."
"Uh yeah, boss, about this plan..."
The speaker adjusted his wool.
"Do you think we're taking this phrase a bit too literally?"
"Nonsense!"
Spoiler: Rules (Please Read)
By joining this game, you agree to follow all the rules below. If you do not follow one or more of them, you may be kicked from the game. (Though I will probably give a warning first unless it's very serious.)
Only non-eliminated players (and forum moderators acting officially) are allowed to post in this thread once the game starts. Exception: eliminated players may make one post following their elimination provided that they don't reveal any important information. Posts that do not follow this rule may be deleted.
This is a game of Werewolf. See WW Central for the general werewolf rules.
The game ends when all wolves have been eliminated (livestock win), or when the number of surviving wolves equals or exceeds the number of surviving non-wolf players (wolves win).
Days phases will last 48 hours, night phases 24. If this is going to be not enough time for someone, please tell me before the game starts so I can change it.
Tie votes lynch the first person to reach that number of votes.
The 25% rule is not in effect. There is no minimum number of votes required for a lynch to happen.
Players will be auto lynched after three consecutive day phases of inactivity (not posting). If there is an available replacement, they will be replaced with their replacement taking over their role. Otherwise, they will be eliminated from the game as though they had been lynched.
Helgraf's scry interference rule is in effect. If two players with scrying roles scry the same player during a night phase, both players will receive the result of "scry failed".
Roles are revealed on death.
Votes and actions will be accepted in advance, and may be changed at any time before they are due. I may place a limit on how far in advance I will accept votes and actions.
PMs are allowed, though I must be CCed in them.
Power roles will be given QT's (Quicktopic threads) to send in actions and for discussion if they are the wolves or masons. You don't have to use them, but I would prefer it if you do because that means less PMs filling up my Inbox.
No sharing official QT's or official PMs. Paraphrasing is fine.
No making your own QT's for this game and inviting people to them.
Don't be insulting.
No bringing up out-of-game consequences for in-game actions, unless you are doing so officially as a moderator of the forums. Remember, it's a game. If you have a problem with something another player is doing, you can bring it up in private to me, the narrator, or wait until the end-of-game response period.
Spoiler: Roles
Spoiler: Livestock
Mother Sheep (Seer): This sheep has been around for ages and knows how to tell her flock from the imposters. Each night the mother sheep scries one player and learns the team (Livestock, Wolves, or Neutral) of that player.
Donkey (Fool): Thinks they are the mother sheep, but aren't. Starts the game being told that they are the mother sheep. Scries a player each night like the mother sheep, but receives a random result.
Llama (Baner): This creature is the protector of farmer Brown's flock. Each night phase the Llama targets one player, who is protected from night kills that night. The llama cannot target themselves two nights in a row.
Chickens(2) (Masons): Birds of a feather. Each chicken starts the game knowing the others.
Sheep(7) (Normal Villagers): Just a bunch of sheep. No special abilities.
Spoiler: Wolves
Alpha Wolf (Alpha): The alpha of the wolf pack has a lustrous white coat that helps him blend in with the sheep even if one peeks under his wool. Scries as livestock.
Clever Wolf (Devil): This wolf is good at picking up on details. Each night phase the clever wolf can scry one other player and learn their role.
Mad Wolf (Beast): This wolf is especially ferocious, and will take someone down with them when they die. When the mad wolf dies, they get 24 hours to send in their choice of who they want to kill. If they don't send in their choice during that time, the rest of the wolf team votes on who they want to kill.
Fox: The fox starts off not knowing the rest of the wolf team and with the rest of the wolf team not knowing them. The fox has a special ability called "slink" which they can use up to two times during the game. To use this ability, the fox must send a message to the narrator during a day phase. The fox will then be immune for the following day phase and two night phases. During these phases, all lynches and kills on the fox will fail, and all scries targeting the fox will get the result of "scry failed". After using this ability the fox cannot use it again the following two day phases. So, for example, if the fox used slink Day 4, they would be immune Night 4, Day 5, and Night 5, and could not use slink again until Day 7.
Spoiler: Neutral
The Raccoon: Not much is known about this mysterious creature. Role revealed on death or victory.
