I suppose if you don't mind being pressured...
Grue Bait, what is your job in our fair kingdom?
The Great Wizard, still wanting to hear from his friend theC'Northe Sage, decides that, since the Bait of Grues is literally asking for it, he will oblige. Muttering a few words in a language known only to he and a few pygmy howler moneys from the nuclear bunkers of Over Yonder, Bookboy cast the mighty spell called Bookboy's Accusatory Digit.
"So, Grue Bait the Traveler, were you perchance waylaid in your travels? Did the rebels capture and threaten you, until you agreed to be their man? Foreigners are dangerous in these dark times."
(Note: Just making sure this is clear to everyone, the vast majority of my posts are RP, and therefore should not be taken as realistic speculation. This point is merely for pressure and I saw a good line to go with in character.)
Uh, okay. I won't add any more pressure to the Grue Bandwagon(It's at over 10 now, I think.), so I'll just keep my point and stare at Grue for his reaction.
Also, for those that have pointed me out for inactivity, and those who swear I'm never inactive, hello, I'm here now. And hopefully more actively participating.
*stares right back*
Finally, some activity. I claim to be a cold, emaciated fellow. Mind undoing these shackles so that I may eat my bread and water?
superdarkto Grimmace
The tall, fae-looking, woman with black hair, wearing similarly colored clothing, on his right laughs softly, flipping a knife over her knuckles, and catching it by the point, then tossing it into the air and catching it so that she's holding it by the hilt again.
"Doubtful, leanbh de leabhair...", she replies, smiling wickedly at him, and drawing some of the flame tattoo on her hand into the real world, so that she's holding an ember. "Our powers are limited to this, pretty much."
Her half-sister, who's a few inches shorter, and has silvery-white hair, which matches her clothes, but otherwise looks fairly similar, shrugs, one of the strange ring of symbols around her left wrist flaring, which causes a bolt of lightning to shoot out from it, striking an inkwell on the desk. "You forget, Merani... I had some less concrete things put on. Even some things to compel truth."
They want some information regarding your role. Since you didn't give it, I'll attach another set of shackles to Grue Bait.
May I ask as to what crime is responsible for your imprisonment in the dungeon?
Grue Bait.
I have upset the king, and only a truly noble, selfless act will set me free. In a purely metaphysical, sort of spiritual way, of course.
Wait, what? Damn.
Sorry TBF, that was meant to read '@InternetFlea', sorry for the trouble. :smallsigh:
@Grue bait: Uh... imprisoned by the king? Only a noble act will set you free? That sounds suspiciously like a wolf to me. (The wolves are the noble ones in this game.)
(Bladescape)
Er, morally noble anyway. It'll take a mighty self-sacrifice to be free. And by that I mean I can kill myself to save someone.
Ah, concrete, excellent. Thank you,Grue Bait.
Now how much time do we have left today, speaking in game terms? Enough for another pressure wagon? Or is it time to talk about the lynch? My options would be, quite tentatively, Elemental and superdark. I'm happy to explain further if anyone would like me to, although my reasoning may not be excellent.
What is it about me? Am I wearing a sign that says 'dark and mysterious'?
Oh wait, never mind.
Grue bait.
Seeing as it has been just over a day we think there would be time for a quick pressure wagon. Can't really think of who though, what do you say Grimmace?
I suppose we could fit one in. Just make sure it doesn't go overboard.
Also: I noticed a disturbing lack of white text in your post good sir.The Grimmace, when you fill in your royal census form, what occupation do you put down?
Yeah, Grimmace what's your story?
Fair enoughPirate Monkyou can go free
So Grue is some sort of beast.
calarto Grimmace.
More of a bodyguard, actually.
Hurm, still a little sus but I guess I'll go offGrue baitfor now....
Pressure on Grimmace(3?4?5? I have no idea.) then.
And yes, he's claiming a body guard role.
Jumps on the pressure bandwagon as it goes past on its way to Grimmace.
It's probably safe to assume there's a bodyguard role (any thoughts from medieval I veterans?) and it'd be a fairly silly fake claim. Given wolves are more valuable than bodyguards (to their respective teams) and with completing claims of it, you'd just lynch them both. So unless there's a competing claim, we can probably putGrue Baiton a safe list for now.
I did not have this thread subscribed to, right. That is fixed now. :smalleek:
And with my sudden appearance, I point an accusing finger at Grimmace.
I'll point at The Grimmace (x8) as well, in the hopes of an auspicious restart of Seer's Academy. :smalltongue:
Indeed. Let us hope that the sad story of those prestigious halls manages to reach a conclusion.
You just openly threatened to kill the next person who claims bodyguard, because he's useless. So unless the bodyguard wants to die, he's not going to speak up now.
Not useless but with if you've got a self-sacrifice bane, it's more useful for the team to take a wolf down with you instead. If I had a bodyguard role, I'd gladly sacrifice myself to take out a wolf. Makes the game shorter for you but you're doing the right thing for your team.
I probably wouldn't do that. Only if there's a possibility to come back, or close to the endgame when it really makes a difference.
I don't really have the time to think about or write up a story today, so I'll just join in on the current pressurewagon. Grimmace mind explaining where you were last night?
The Grimmace, seeing as a majority is still needed.
Great galaxies! Going with the Grue Bait gambit genuinely gets gangs going. Guess Goof'll give Grimmace a gander.
Ah good,Grue Baitclaimed. Now we can start looking elsewhere.
The Grimmace should now be at 12, or lynch -3. No more than one additional point should be placed on him until he claims (and we discuss it) or fails to claim (if night is imminent). We don't want accidental hammers.
What say ye?
