For some reason, it's very satisfying to see Goblin's Knob in the distance.
OMG, you really posted it! I was being a little silly when I made the request, not thinking that you'd actually post it. There is something about that pose that Wanda is striking though...
Yay 4 hot Wanda!
All the art that I've seen in the comic so far is amazing. Keep up the awesome creativity!
Ok... it's official, I can be considered a fan. The corset, the pouty look, the barely covered ass cheek.... I am a self confessed Wanda fan. For those older guys out there, remember looking in the back of your Dad's 'special' magazines and seeing Wicked Wanda? This Wanda is way hotter ;)
I've gained a greater appreciation for these, especially Wanda and now the heavies.
I have to agree about the sourmander. I expect him to say something like, "Hey you kids! Get offa my lawn!"
Plushies are admittedly the best kind of golems. Or in this case, if they can emote, freaking big toys.
Last panel from #13 is in my wishes. It would make a beautiful desktop or wallposter. I think I'll go to some print press and make a poster of it cause everyone who knows what a golem is can get the Joke.
(PS you should use that text in teashirt or something:
when life gives you crap make crapgolems)
I'm loving the Erfworld art. Jamie, you're amazing.
Providing selected full-size versions of panels is a really nice idea. Penny Arcade have done it from time to time (recently with the over-Christmas Cardboard Tube Samuari story) and I always drool over those as well.
Perhaps I should invest in a drool-proof keyboard...
Could I request the 7th panel (3rd from the end) of strip 14? The view of the Bedroom.
Thanks!
I must second the request for a #13 last panel, and put the text on a teeshirt. You could get CafePress to do it and it'd sell.
Late thanks, Jami! I have a new desktop wallpaper now (by the looks of things, much like a dozen other people). And I'll third the asking for t-shirts; I'd buy something iconic, like a single cloth golem, or Sizemore with caption "when life gives you crap, make Crap Golems". But hey, I'm not the artistic genius.
Oy, JPEG artifacting was not friendly to the 1200 version. 800 looks fine, though.
Weird, it looks fine now. Maybe Firefox glitched when it was rendering or something.
Never mind!
And here I was hoping this thread was referring to something involving a compilation of Erfworld, the author's utensil's for creating it, some primer cord and a little C-4!
How disappointed.
sounds like a good idea. the artwork in this comic is great and it'd be a shame to diminish it due to format constraints.
I know the Giant in some cases has run 2-3 pages together as one issue. Since it's a digital comic, you shouldn't have to be restricted to the same canvas size as those printing on paper.
Jami, this is awesome stuff! I, for one, would definitely hang these on my wall.
Any plans for opening an Erfworld shop for posters and such?
I think this first part of the year, we're going to try to develop Erfworld as a comic more. We do have plans for merch and such. Actually, if you're coming to Katsucon, we'll have some buttons available. But yes, I would love to do some posters, maybe some art prints, and shirts and things.
We've got plans for all sorts of goodies. Hopefully, we'll be in a position to bring some of these to light as we get closer to the summer con season.
Sweet
I've now made the heavies my laptop's desktop wallpaper - it's the perfect width for my 1280x800 screen, which has a bit lopped off the edge for a vertical panel.
I really love the colours you're using around Ansom's camp, so bright and clear and a really sharp contrast to Gobwin Knob.
I'd like to request Page 14, panel #6(The one with the Kinko's andwhatnot.) Plus, I have a question.
Is that magazine scanned in, or does your devotion to detail delve that deep?
