As connected as Wisdom, yes. :smalltongue:

But Wisdom is the relevant ability when it comes perceiving what other people feel or want (Sense Motive), or just understanding other people in general...and that's a field Janine has trouble with.
And mental problems are often presented as a Wisdom penalty. Derros, who are mad, have a Wisdom penalty that gets fixed when they are cured of their racial madness.
I guess Janine, written as a character, would just have high Wisdom combined with a ton of Flaws: a huge penalty to Sense Motive and Diplomacy, to start with, and probably she would have to make Will Saves to avoid saying something inconvenient/awkward when meeting an attractive man, and to avoid being shaken when rejected...

No, I meant as in as connected to mental health as Wisdom is to blowing things up. You set up a sort of mirror thing.

Ah. Unintentional.
Janine doesn't have low wisdom. She has a penalty to sense motive, and likely only in specific situations. Personality is not linked to ability scores. At all.

Agreed on all counts.

Re: Murphy's Law 8: College? What About It?
Janine's pretty perceptive...just not when it comes to things like this. And I love how busy the thread's gotten since my update! Man, I've missed this.

Ninjas use dexterity to make things explode with their mind. Causing strokes with a word is but one weapon in a ninja's deadly arsenal.

Re: Murphy's Law 8: College? What About It?
I don't think ninjas would make good counsellors. They would try to kill you all the time.

Are there official ages for the characters? What thread is this information tucked away in, if so?:smalltongue:
I believe Serrin is in her early 40s. For the other characters, I don't know, but I would hazard a guess that most are in their 20s. Tinder I have no idea.
-
Re: Murphy's Law 8: College? What About It?
I retconned Serrin's age. She's in her early to mid 30s, Tinder's in his early 60s, and the rest are in their 20s.

Re: Murphy's Law 8: College? What About It?
It is waiting to be approved
-
Re: Murphy's Law 8: College? What About It?
I submitted one last night and it takes a couple days to get approved.
-
Re: Murphy's Law 8: College? What About It?
Why does it need approving?

We're waiting on an approval now, aren't we? :smalltongue:

Yay for flying off the handle. :\ I think I can understand this one - Janine may have problems but that kind tend to lead to the most irritating situations.

I thought I had spent a lot of time on these forums... I've read all the rules several times, just to be sure.

To explain, when they first started the fan comic section, there were a bunch of threads being created, and most didn't even have a comic being made associated with it. Some were reserved threads for people who "wanted" to start it. Others were threads saying someone should make a comic with X, Y, and Z while not doing it themselves. The amount of these threads to the threads that actually had comics to them was reaching a high ratio. In the end, the mods decided to make threads approved by them before its posted to cut out the spam.

Replace the word fancomic with game and you got the story of the structured games section.

No, just the ones that have to look old. Most oracles are spirit-beings or robots.

Re: Murphy's Law 8: College? What About It?
Prelims are coming up so expect another slowdown. I hope I don't disappoint with the next comic either.
Also, the Tvtropes page might need updating. :smalltongue:
