I know advertisers aren't exactly... in touch... all the time
Just saw this on mythweavers though, and I had to share.

Re: I know advertisers aren't exactly... in touch... all the time
Wait, hold on, you join "secret chatrooms" that are advertised on banners that you can join for free?
Well, huh.:smallannoyed:

Re: I know advertisers aren't exactly... in touch... all the time
And in those secret chatrooms, the undead can discuss life...

Re: I know advertisers aren't exactly... in touch... all the time
And that vampire looks like she got attacked with Botox straight from the source.

Re: I know advertisers aren't exactly... in touch... all the time
This looks like a spot-on advertisement for the audience it is seeking, actually.

Well, I meant that it wasn't very in touch with the place where it came up - on a comedy heavy Star Wars PbP on mythweavers. There is... I will admit, a certain type of audience that would love Botoxrayne.

Re: I know advertisers aren't exactly... in touch... all the time
I watched a programme once about a bunch of people who pretended they were vampires--they'd actually drink blood, wear pointy false teeth, etc. So there's probably a market for this sort of thing, strange as it is.

Re: I know advertisers aren't exactly... in touch... all the time
I hope you meant 'Evony's not in touch' and not 'that banner is an ad for Evony', because that would become even more hilarious than it actually already is.

Re: I know advertisers aren't exactly... in touch... all the time
Dammit, those Evony ads are EVERYWHERE! I'm surprised they haven't shown up on here. I know this is an ad-free site, but Evony is like an epidemic, it's gonna break onto here eventually.

Re: I know advertisers aren't exactly... in touch... all the time
I can't see the image. If there is an image.
Also, what is Evony? I remember seeing a thread somewhere around here but I never looked at it.

A city-builder browser game who's ads have gone from fantasy sword and knight sort of thing gradually to hot chicks until eventually it was literally just a set of breasts with Evony somewhere in the advert...

Re: I know advertisers aren't exactly... in touch... all the time
Evony sounds like one of those "free rpg's" that always have adds depicting women in less than modest clothing either in distress of in evocative poses.
EDIT: Haha! Spot on!
As for Vampire City it sounds like just another forum targeting a certain part of the population that in reality wouldn't be interested in it in the first place.

Re: I know advertisers aren't exactly... in touch... all the time
Also, I put up a new link to the image since the original one expired.

In otherwords, a success.

Things were like this long before Twilight.

Oh god. That's perfect for a horribly geriatric parody porn.
