Gilgstrom looks up at Garin, "Well, it IS possible. A swallow could grip the coconut by the husk. Hang on..." Gilgstrom takes out his pen and book and begins scribbling notes in the back.

Gilgstrom looks up at Garin, "Well, it IS possible. A swallow could grip the coconut by the husk. Hang on..." Gilgstrom takes out his pen and book and begins scribbling notes in the back.
Chandy
"It's not a question of where he grips it...oh nevermind..." Chandy shakes his head as he follows after the king.
Neil, for his part, just looks utterly bemused. "Why is it that I feel as though everyone is quoting something...?" He shakes his head, trying his best not to laugh as he follows along.
Upon reaching the castle, a watcher on the wall yells down, "Who's there?" Aurthur replies, "It is I, Arthur, King of the Britons, and I wish to speak to the master of this castle about joining me in Camelot." "Who's the other one?" yells the watchman. "That my trusty servant Patsy, the others are my knights. We have rode the length and breadth of this land searching for knights valiant enough to join me." The Watchman is silent for a second before saying "You know, I feel like I should be saying something really intelligent right now. But somehow it just doesn't seem like it's right for me to say it anymore... Well, no matter. I'll just say something else. You know what, bugger off." Arthur looks a little disturbed by this, but shakes it off and says "Um, ok then, I suppose we should just go. Come knights!" You follow him off, and soon find yourself in a forest. In the distance you can hear the sound of a river. As you follow the path, you find yourself heading towards the sound of water and you soon find yourself in a clearing. In the center of the clearing is the river you've been hearing, with one bridge spanning the gap. In front of the bridge are two knights fighting, one wearing black armor, the other green. At first, the green knight seems to be winning, but suddenly the black knight throws his sword at the green knight, and somehow throws it through the eye slit in the green knight's helmet. After disposing the green knight's body, the black knight returns to in front of the bridge. "We need to cross that bridge, knights, do you have any ideas?"
"I got one my lord."
He hadn't realy liked the idea of calling a man who could possibley be mentally unstabe his lord, but it seemed the best course of action for now.
Garin stretched his neck and brandished his blade.
"Murder."
Without awating a response Garin casually made his way to stand ten feet from the knight.
"Hail sir knight. I have seen you are skilfull in the ways of the warrior.
On behalf of my king and yours, I bid you let us pass, and you may even join us in his court in Camelot."
Chandy
Chandy gives a flourishing bow to the new knight and says, "Your skill at arms is impressive, good sir knight. Where did you learn to wield the blade so masterfully?" As Chandy speaks he begins circling slightly to the right, he does it not in an aggressive way but appearing as if to move forward and congratulate the knight on his victory.
"What ho! That was a good fight there, sir knight. Kord smiles upon the strong."
Upon hearing Garin's comment, however, he stops.
"Oi. relax, mate. No need to get too hasty. Go ahead and fight him, but don't try to kill him please. I'd rather not waste my healing magic if I don't have to."
The knight doesn't move, or even look at you.
Chandy
Chandy continues to move around the knight, "If you won't talk to us, we will be going then. Though Camelot will be sorely missing your skill at arms." With this Chandy begins walking as if to leave the knight behind but he fingers both blades at his belt, as if to draw then at any sign of provocation.
"Strong silent type eh? I like that. Sign of a true master. Regardless, should your strond arm not join us, I shall be unhappy, but it is the path you have chosen. Now, step aside that we may pass."
Garin will step five feet forward.
Oskar will draw his sword.
Gilgstrom, who up until this moment had been staring at the green knight's corpse, turns his gaze to the black knight everyone has surrounded and murmurs under his breath, "Hm, I wonder..." Seeing Oskar drawing his sword, Gilgstrom quickly begins to cast Detect Magic on the knight.
"You shall not pass." Says the knight.
OOC: My internet router got hit by lightning on Tuesday. Hopefully AT&T will get the new one to me Saturday. Otherwise, I won't be back till Monday probably. If anyone initiates combat, everyone needs to roll initiative. Hopefully I'll be able to get online at my friend's house some.
"I thought you might say that"
And with that, Garin swings his sword at the stubborn knight.
Spoiler.
Hoping to catch him in a surprise.

Neil is just a very silent type of person, I swear. As the hostilities seem to increase, he brings his scythe to bear, moving to stand before the king in order to protect him better. His eyes narrow, as he watches the black knight intently, muttering something to himself under his breath.
SpoilerDetect Evil on the Dark Knight. And that's about it, really. I should do this before combat...
"Ah bugger all." Gilgstrom stops casting Detect Magic, draws his sword, and charges the knight.

Chandy maneuvers his way behind the knight, striking him in his right arm, cutting it clean off.
The Knight, now wielding his sword left handed, strikes at Oskar, hitting him squarely in the ribs for 7 damage.
Oskar swings at the Knight, but finds his blow deftly parried.
Garin's swing makes it's way past the knight's defenses, only to have his blow glance off the knight's armor.
Gilgstrom's charge catches the Knight by surprise, and his slash ends up squarely in the Knight's arm, which is now bleeding. Detect results:

OOC: Well, I finally got a router back from AT&T, a week after it got hit by lightning... Only to find out that the router was dead, so we had to get another. Finally back. I'm very sorry about that. Let's get this back on the road! At this point I really only need Chandy's action, thin i'll post the Knight's action, then you guys can all go. It will probably work better that way, since you gys'a re mostly responding to his action.
Chandy
As soon as the first dagger leaves his hand he draws another, he hesitates to let it loose at a now armless target. Instead he replies, "Yield and no further harm will come to you."
SpoilerReadied action to throw the dagger if the enemy manages to damag any of his companions

"Kord's nostrils, is that the best you can do?! I believe Kord's aid will come in handy here."
Oskar will five-foot if he can towards Garin. If he can touch, he'll cast Bull's Strength. Failing that, he'll cast Shield of Faith on himself.
OOC: He still has his left arm. I'm going to assume you attack it.
Chandy's blow strikes home right next to Gilgstrom's, cleaving the Knight's arm clean off.
The knight, now disarmed, charges at Chandy, slamming right in the gut for 4 damage.
If Garin has Bull's Strength Cast on him:

If he doesn't have it cast on him, he'll just raise an eyebrow at the strange display.
OOC: I'm going to be away till next Saturday, so posting will be sporadic if at all.
Garin's mighty cleave leaves a huge gash in the knight's left leg, leaving him limping.
OOC:Just because i'm gone doesn't me you don't have to post. :smallconfused::smallcool:
Chandy
Slightly knocked off guard by the armless charge, Chandy reacts by shifting to the knights side and attacking with his kukri.
SpoilerIf possible I'll move to a flanking position
Attack:[roll0] +2 if flanking

"You're missing an arm there, buddy. Sure you want to keep fighting? I don't think I can reattach it, but I can stop the bleeding for you.
Gilgstrom holds his sword at the ready but doesn't swing, instead wondering whether he should finish off the knight or knock him out and leave a few coins in his helmet. "Er, you DO realize you don't have any arms left?"
Initiative Order:
Chandy: 24
The Black Knight: 22
Oskar: 21
Garin: 13
Gilgstrom: 9
Neil: 4
Oskar steps over to Garin, and grants him a divine strength.
Garin then strikes hard at the knight, cleaving his left leg clean off.
The knight looks at his bloody stumps that once were his arms, before Responding to Gilgstrom and Chandy by saying "What? Tis only a flesh wound."
Neil swings at the knight, but misses wide, probably aided by the fact that there's now a lot less knight to hit...
The knight then throws himself at Garin, slamming him for 2 damage.
OOC: NPC'd Neil this round, sorry for not posting sooner. Yuki, you still in this?
