Re: My Little Pony LVI:S Has Left the Playground!
Well, it's done. I've decided to delete my copy of the My Little Pony game. Why?
It would take forever to complete, and I will never have 200+ dollars on hand to just pour into the game.
Sorry everypony who has me as a friend. It's been fun.
In other news, I'm writing Ch. 29, debating whether or not to get rid of a story idea, and if I should bring in a new one.
Oh, and I really enjoyed Too Many Pinkies.

I have to say I agree wholeheartedly with the article there. The game is fun, and I have to say I enjoy the minigames. But anyone who thinks I'm going to lay out $60 bucks just to unlock Rainbow Dash is taking a bath. (Despite her awesomess, radicallness and coolness, I'd rather spend that money on other pony merch that I'll get a more lasting benefit from).
For now, I'll take the pragmatic method of abusing the time-change bug to unlock her, at least until Gameloft brings the cost of gems down radically. (Don't even get me started on the fact that best pony also costs another 90 gems!)
Oh well, I'll just have to enjoy the fact that I've put Scootaloo and Applebloom in charge of the bookstore, while AJ runs the Ponyville Spa.

Re: My Little Pony LVI:S Has Left the Playground!
So how many of you have confirmed Rarity's dad as Earth Pony (if he had hat removal animation).

I started doing the clock thing, but it's too annoying. I just don't care enough about this to sit there and do it. Plus, even with the clock trick, it takes forever to get any gems.

I don't really care. I'm not sure why this is important to you, but whether the stallion is a unicorn or not, he's clearly somewhat uncultured and of a different class than Rarity would like to style herself as. It's his character and what that says about her background that make him important, not whether he's got a horn.

I don't know why your posts are so obsessed with pony miscegenation. Get over it. It's starting to be a little bit creepy. Yeah, pegasi interbreed with unicorns interbreed with earth ponies. None of them are meant to be "lesser" than the others. They're all ponies, and that's all that's really important.

Why no Rainbow Dash? And Fluttershy is clearly Treebeard. I would put Rainbow Dash as Pippin (takes action rashly) and Merry as Pinkie Pie. Trixie is Golum!

Are you party to how the sprites in that game are stored? Don't get me wrong, it's not the worst game to change the graphics on, but go take a look (I'm pretty certain I picked a minor character for that sheet, a few other characters are more complex, but keep in mind that's a sheet where the graphics have already been rearranged to make them more obvious to discern purpose), 'cause it's still a nightmare* to do it in that game 'cause every little body part is split up and on layers separate from the actual body to which the limbs are connected, except on a few frames where they are not. That said, okay Ponymunity, prove me wrong on this and go ahead and make it anyways 'cause I'll agree it'd be cool.

Now I can totally see him having an incredibly unique horn, like its a silhouetted Christmas tree or something stupidly fantastic just out of spite.

Oh well, kind of regretted it's not on PC at first, but it seems it's not such a bad thing after all. Plus, looks like part of playerbase is seriously ass.
But then again, on PC, I could use my debugging skills to "borrow" some gems from Crystal Empire.

Boromoir is a bit to tragically heroic for the likes of Blueblood, but I can't think of anypony else.
The consolation prize is Blueblood stuck full of arrows, though - a lovely image, by-the-by - so it's not all bad.
I don't think anyone needs to be Sauron, since Sauron is never really seen (unless you want to go the movie route and have a visible Eyeball of Death, in which case I suppose Queen C's eyeball is more photogenic than the others, and I totally agree on Sombra as my hero the Witch-King (he was robbed, robbed, I tell you!) anyway.
I concur on the rest, though.

Eh, to be honest, I struggled with the whole Gondor Steward family. No pony is good fit for these, but dashing, self absorbed Prince type fits BB the best.

Well, Sauron was a shapeshifter, had big army, and could overpower any good guy. This is kinda good fit :smalltongue:

Aye. Anecdote has it there are two kinda of marines in the US, new marines and old ones. New marines talk a good game about putting their British counterpart in its place. Old marines lay a hand gently on their shoulder and say "shut up before they hurt you and show some damn respect".
Part of being told this story is that I was charged with passing it on. Like some sort of old boat guy what rhymes, almost an ancient mariner, if you will, I have partially discharged this duty.

I don't know. I mean, think about it. It's a free game that does really well up until that point. They obviously want some profit, and I think they did a rather swell job with the set up. Especially since they had a Scootasale, they'd probably have a RainbowGrab too.
Honestly, I like the game because zooming in and watching ponies prance makes me happy.

It would be weird, actually, based on the sprites they use. Having your guy change from earth pony to Pegasus to unicorn and back. And the plot, I mean, seriously, how would you rewrite that or pony?
No seriously, I'm all ears.

I don't blame you. I have nothing against DLC, but if I buy a game, the main quest better be completeable without spending more money.
