Re: [Nexus] Harnel's Plots
[At the Foot of Summerset Mountain]
Harnel shrugs, "There's not a whole lot I'm going to ask you not to do," Harnel says, "Kissing is just about the only thing, so go ahead and look in my eyes if you want."
"Well, actually, I want to go to Arcadia. Like I said before, the winter fey stole something from a friend of mine, and I want to get it back."

Re: [Nexus] Harnel's Plots
[At the Foot of Summerset Mountain]
"Oh that's easy, you just- can you stop staring at him?!" The beech dryad exclaims as suddenly the entire grove have gathered around Harnel, staring at him with big eyes. The half-dragon can probably not see anything else but fey as the pixies are above him and underneath him a group of bearded women and men are now standing at his feet.
"...I think I can see see the shine now!"
"Ugh..."

Re: [Nexus] Harnel's Plots
[At the Foot of Summerset Mountain]
Harnel chuckles, and he crouches down to get on level with the short fey, "I don't really shine, do I?"
-
Re: [Nexus] Harnel's Plots
[At the Foot of Summerset Mountain==>???]
"You do, it's like..."
"-the sun!" Another one fills in.
"Oh please..." He can hear the beech dryad says before she suddenly attempts to slip her hand around his. If this is successful the half-dragon will suddenly find himself on a large snowy field surrounded by a white fog with the beech dryad right next to him.

Re: [Nexus] Harnel's Plots
[Arcadia]
Harnel looks around, "This is Arcadia, then?" he asks, standing up. He doesn't even look terribly surprised.
-
Re: [Nexus] Harnel's Plots
[Arcadia]
"Yep, that's what you wanted after all. The grove is a portal here 'n stuff." The beech dryad replies. "So what are you planning to do while you're here?" She asks curiously.
Harnel might have noted that it's a great deal colder here then it was in the grove.

Re: [Nexus] Harnel's Plots
[Arcadia]
"Well, actually, I wasn't going to want to come here for another few days," Harnel says simply, "By then I'll have finished my preparations for my quest."
Harnel isn't too disturbed by the cold; he took Voidstone's advice and is wearing study, thick clothing.
-
Re: [Nexus] Harnel's Plots
[Arcadia]
"What sort of quest?" She asks with an raised eyebrow. "An heroic one?"
-
Re: [Nexus] Harnel's Plots
[Arcadia]
"You could say that," Harnel says, "The winter fey stole the ability to have children from a frien of mine. I'm going to get it back for her."
-
Re: [Nexus] Harnel's Plots
[Arcadia]
"You mean Zelia? Yeah, that happened. Wanna do the quest to find it with me then?" The dryad asks as she holds out her hand causing a military helmet to materialize in her hand which she puts on her head.
-
Re: [Nexus] Harnel's Plots
[Arcadia]
Harnel nods, "Yeah, though I've still got some preparations to make. I certainly wouldn't mind the company."
-
Re: [Nexus] Harnel's Plots
[Arcadia]
"It's now or never fugly guy, not gonna do it later." She explains as she taps her new helmet twice. "Don't tell me I put on my quest-y hat for nothing."
-
Re: [Nexus] Harnel's Plots
[Arcadia]
"Tell you what," Harnel says, "I'll give you something if we delay it until I've made all my preparations."
-
Re: [Nexus] Harnel's Plots
[Arcadia]
"Ha! Don't mistake me for one of my cousins, you got nothing I want. So make up your mind, it's boring just standing around." She replies while leaning back and fourth, seemingly starting to get rather restless already.
-
Re: [Nexus] Harnel's Plots
[Arcadia]
"And just how do you know that? Do you know how to juggle? Fight? Dance? I'm a craftsman, so I can make things for you. So the question is; what do you want?"
-
Re: [Nexus] Harnel's Plots
[Arcadia]
The dryad sigh dramatically, "You know what the problem with you mortals is? You think waaay too much. Why can't we save her now for?"
-
Re: [Nexus] Harnel's Plots
[Arcadia]
"Because I have a sack full of things i may need, and no proper hero should be without," Harnel says, "I have found so many uses for a rubber ball, it's not even funny."
-
Re: [Nexus] Harnel's Plots
[Arcadia]
The dryad peers at him, smiling faintly. "So what do you need exactly?"
-
Re: [Nexus] Harnel's Plots
[Arcadia]
"My rucksack," Harnel says, "It's got everything I was intending to bring with me on this tip in it."
-
Re: [Nexus] Harnel's Plots
[Arcadia]
The dryad rolls her eyes, "Winds you're slow, what's in the rucksack?"
-
Re: [Nexus] Harnel's Plots
[Arcadia]
"If you're thinking of trying to replicate them, don't bother; beyond a sword that's made out the very concept of a sword, I don't even remember everything in the bag, even if you had a way of crafting them."
-
Re: [Nexus] Harnel's Plots
[Arcadia]
"Bah, you're no fun! Guess you have to do an adventure without me then." The dryad says as she crosses her arms over her chest and turns away from Harnel.
-
Re: [Nexus] Harnel's Plots
[Arcadia]
Harnel looks at the Dryad's hat for a moment, scratching his chin, "How much do you like that hat?"
-
Re: [Nexus] Harnel's Plots
[Arcadia]
The dryad tilts her head 90 degrees and arches an eyebrow. "I'm listening."
-
Re: [Nexus] Harnel's Plots
[Arcadia]
Paydirt.
"I can get you more hats, if you want. Many more."
-
Re: [Nexus] Harnel's Plots
[Arcadia]
"What kind of hates are we talking about here? Can you get me this kind of hat?" The dryad asks as she taps her helmet again.
-
Re: [Nexus] Harnel's Plots
[Arcadia]
"The kind of hat you have right there? it's called a helmet. I can get you many more helmets. I can get you posh noble hats, hats worn by religious sorts, pirate hats. So many hats." Harnel smiles
-
Re: [Nexus] Harnel's Plots
[Arcadia]
"...so what did you want to do again?" The dryad suddenly asks. The half-dragon might be able to hear something buzzing nearby however.
-
Re: [Nexus] Harnel's Plots
[Arcadia]
"I wanted to go back to Hestopia, and then come back here once I've made my preparations," he says, looking toward wherever that sound is coming from. what is that?
-
Re: [Nexus] Harnel's Plots
[Arcadia]
"Oh yeah..." The dryad says but then stops to listen. "Are you hearing something too?"
Before Harnel can reply however a blue-skinned pixie with crystal wings carrying a scroll in one hand and a large horn in the other. It flutters over to the two, takes a deep breath and then blows the horn.
TOOTOOTOOOHOO!
"THE MAJESTY HAVE INVITED YOu too the... *pant* party... and..." At this point the pixie seem to collapse of exhaustion and falls to the ground as it not longer can carry all it's items.
