Geez guys, stop telling us the events in your comics before you actually make them. There ain't that many surprises left for the rest of us:smalltongue:

Re: ABR Discussion thread XXXV - Rise of the Pervsharks!
Hey guys just popping in to see how you all are :3 on holiday at the moment, its good to get time off of work :P
However I realise now that I should have spent it to do at least one comic XD instead of visiting friends... oh well this ways more fun :P
BYE! <3

Re: ABR Discussion thread XXXV - Rise of the Pervsharks!
That was a good comic, Lying. Very good comic even. I might throw Grim back into action for this... Though my comic-making skills are propably rather rusty after all this doing nothing. Still, I will try to give it a shot :smalltongue:

Future Imperfect is back from the grave! Wonderful, but I'm worried about the fact that I'll have to divide my time between FI, ABRC and the Super Special Secret Project... :smalleek:

I'm worried that this thing is going to ask me to update a program whose location i don't know again -_- which wouldn't be so annoying if it would just do it automatically...

Re: ABR Discussion thread XXXV - Rise of the Pervsharks!
Maybe you should write down where it's located then? :smallwink:

I don't know where it is. That's the problem :smallannoyed:
But it has now been rectified.

Re: ABR Discussion thread XXXV - Rise of the Pervsharks!
I have plans to make an ABR Corps comic later on today. It probably shouldn't contradict anything Skimmer, Mask, or Keveak was planning to do, but I have somewhat run out of paitence AND I'm in the comic making mood, so I don't care. :smallamused:

Re: ABR Discussion thread XXXV - Rise of the Pervsharks!
Couldn't you make something for FI then? Sooner someone jumps on the bandwagon, sooner others do and we get things moving again.

What if I don't actually care about FI?
FI is the past! Get with the times! ABR Corps is what's hip now, dadio! :smallamused:

In my case... I'm just not sure what I should do to follow that up. What, should i suddenly populate Avbaroy with Pervsharks and have Ketham go to visit their city for information on the wreck's location?

I refuse to take coolness advice from someone who still uses the words 'hip' and 'dadio'.

Lying is over six hundred years old and even he thinks your references are dated.

"He looks ugly as s*** for a six hundred year old."
"The average human lifespan is 100 years, Ketham."
"Oh. In that case, he looks great!"

Did you try program files? Unless you changed where it was supposed to go to, it should have defaulted to your C drive, then program files/inkscape. Beyond that, I can't really be helpful. You could use the search function and search for inkscape, making a note of where it says it is.

First, it wasn't an Inkscape file, i was just venting that my old copy of DC wouldn't DL properly - it kept saying it found a file to update but it didn't do it automatically and I couldn't find anything to update.
Second, it's rectified means that it's FIXED. :smalltongue:

I think he's referring to Maptools, which is what we use in the ABR RPG group and went through a period of updating, like, every week while we were playing.
... Or maybe not.

Wow! I haven't thought about that plot since we started it!
Yeah. That was kinda dumb...:smallwink:
-
Re: ABR Discussion thread XXXV - Rise of the Pervsharks!
Dumb ABR stuff. Ah, the good old days. :smalltongue:
-
Re: ABR Discussion thread XXXV - Rise of the Pervsharks!
Tha' be treason, ya scurvy landlubbers! Tha pirate plot be not dumb, it be an adventure of piracy and were-badgers! Yarr!
Keveak supports tha idea o'a piratey plot, me vote goes fer Grim!
On another, less piraty, note, since Mask hasn't posted yet and I don't feel like redrawing a panel at the moment to fit with continuity, I will try to draw an FI comic one of the days!
It will have Kobolds, stealthy feats of stealth and possibly cloaks that are in no way suspicious!

Re: ABR Discussion thread XXXV - Rise of the Pervsharks!

Re: ABR Discussion thread XXXV - Rise of the Pervsharks!
*shakes fist annoyedly* :smallannoyed:
Although in fairness, this past week I've been getting settled back into university life...so that's perhaps part of the reason for everyone else as well.

Re: ABR Discussion thread XXXV - Rise of the Pervsharks!
I'm making one!
...
very slowly...

None of the current plots are interesting.* Plus there seems to be a general lack of motivation in the air to really push the stories onward. There's just not enough interest/people around to really keep the ball rolling. Perhaps scrapping complicated plots entirely and going back to basics would be best until an influx of fresh meat arrives.
Of course, for that to happen, the word has to get out somehow. Maybe we could get permission to make a small "advertisement" thread in a more viewed subforum in order to attract newcomers back in? *shrugs*
Or somebody could splurge and bid on some of gitp's adspace. :smalltongue:

Re: ABR Discussion thread XXXV - Rise of the Pervsharks!
Actually, according to the Project Wonderful page...it'd only be like £10 to secure it pretty soundly worldwide...

Re: ABR Discussion thread XXXV - Rise of the Pervsharks!
I have already made a comic. Ball is outta my court, now. :smallwink:

Re: ABR Discussion thread XXXV - Rise of the Pervsharks!
Miridia is pretty much a more classic, basic ABR - heck, it even spawned from random kills! - the problem is at the moment there isn't really much of a goal. I could work on a brief intro to a more "basic" plot, but it'd probably wind down to, to paraphrase Spoony "Wizard bad! You Hero! GO KILL!" or something similar. Really, it's hard to get much simpler than the standard fantasy model.
