Lamianos looks at Razoreye for a moment before saying "Me? I was there doing the same thing." Lamianos paused after saying that "Well, not exactly. They wanted to destroy the whole place, I wanted to take over and make it a base of operations. Of course there was a clash of interests, and in the end I'll have to change Equestria somewhere else."

Eledwhen yawns after the sleep. Lamia successfully sang her to sleep, and she curled up next to his leg.
Now she yawns quietly and rubs her eyes, groping for Lamia's hoof.
[New Appaloosa]
"Thanks..." Lucky quietly says with sincerity.
He then perks his head up a bit, and gives Gwendolyn a dubious look. "Um, have you even seen my back?" he asks in a flat deadpan. "Because it certainly feels like you enjoyed yourself last night. Seriously, how bad is it back there? Everything hurts too much for me to check..."
With a grumble, he goes back to resting his face on the floor. "Clearly, though, we have learned that I am in the wrong occupation..." he mutters in a somewhat snarky manner.

That's quite interesting if true. The griffon takes another hard look at the power-armored pony wondering if he could have gotten away with playing the slavers like puppets. They are amorale morons, but there are a lot of them.
"How'd that end for you then?"

Lamianos grins before tapping on his armor and saying "Got a heart attack for my troubles." He throws his head back letting out a little chuckle.

Just two griffons, a pony, and rain rain rain. The sky flashes and rumbles due to a distant bolt of lightning. And thankfully the little hut seems to have remained dry. Heimdalr apparently had the good sense to make it slope upwards so water wouldn't run in.

"Then maybe you should make sure things are in order before just rushing in." Night Jewel sighed. "If we had a scout with any sense of morality or less bumbling in general, this wouldn't have been such a travesty."
She picked up the unconscious Elestre. "Well, what's done is done. We might as well recuperate and make plans to finish this later." With that, she started off.
[New Appaloosa]
Bright Eyes made her return with the things she had went out to get. "Well, looks like things are falling into order here! Drink this." She gave Gwendolyn and Lucky each a cup of strange-smelling liquid. "It'll clear your minds so you'll be ready to hit the road again soon enough.
"Oh, and Lucky? Hold still, unless you want to be a total mummy." She then set about dressing the pegasus's scratches.

"Blah."
Not being raided or something then.
Rusty almost flops back over to go back to sleep, but seems to reconsider it.
Instead he mumbles something to himself about silly stress, before prying the device off his ear and putting it back into his bag.
"Quiet watch then, other than the thunder jazz?"
Or did they get invaded in their sleep, and the only casualty was Heim?
While not necessarily supporting the idea, the earth pony would not be surprised...

"No idea what Heim is up to. His turn to take watch here pretty soon."
Maybe he's taking a walk to wake up?

Lucky makes an amusing "oof" noise as the pillow smacks him in the back of the head. He then tucks it under his face and sighs contently. "Thanks, much better..." he smirks.
The Bright Eyes returns, and offers him Hair-Of-The-Dog and medical attention. "Thanks Bright Eyes..." he quietly tells her, before taking a ginger sip of the strange beverage. He pulls a face, and then takes a few more sips. "Hurrk. Needs more hot sauce..."
He then relaxes, and spreads his wings so Bright Eyes can easily apply the magical bandages to his back. She may notice that he's missing a few feathers. Looks like somebody got a bit rough with the "preening," perhaps... "By the way, I want to apologize for any misbehavior you witnessed last night..." he grumbles. "And I really apologize for what you overheard."

Finder helps Night Jewel keep the unconscious pony from falling off with continued levitation. It should keep some load off, and it's an excuse to not go full speed. He is still bleeding after all.
"We get to Doc's, anypony not hurt needs to go get Ditz, 'Tini, and anypony else important. We're still not done with this mess."

Could have explained Akwellen's philosophicalness.
Rusty quietly checks off that idea as he moves up to sit vaguely near the griffon.
"Not a very safe walk to take, just to wake up. We should, uh, maybe consider being concerned.

Secret clandestine meeting?
Went outside for a bathroom break, got ambushed by monsters?
Decided "the hay with this" and struck out on his own?

"Neh. No reason to worry about Heim. He knows what he's doing. Griffons have got better night vision than ponies do, and he's got his dad's eyes. Sneaking up on him isn't exactly easy," Akwellen laughs with a shake of his head.
Sivr snorts again, drawing a glance from the griffon. He decides to lower his volume a bit.
"Usually goes off alone for a bit when things are quiet. Just something he does. No idea why. Never bothered to ask."
The tone here is pretty clear.
Rusty shouldn't ask either.

A little frown, a little shrug.
Folks do strange things, in these dark times.

He may be missing a couple screws, in relation to things like this.

Finder gives Luka a nod of thanks as he starts being patched up. However, the colt still has some things to learn about town. One has to wonder how he didn't run across 'Tini though.
"Apple Martini, she owns the bar. Merchants keep the town running, so they're generally the first to need to know about this load of manure."

The griffon shakes the Ranger's hoof, careful as usual to not involve any harmful lacerations stemming from shaking with a talon. "Razoreye for now, too many griffons today are too loose with their given names."
Noticing Eledwhen, he shifts focus over. "Bring your daughter to battle day?"

Eledwhen jumps in before Lamianos can deny everything!
Uh huh. My daddy, er, showed me, like "take your daughter to work" day.
She shoots a look at Lamianos, wondering whether to tell the truth or not.

Lamianos rolls his eyes before saying "Not exactly. This is Eledwhen, a relative to one of those "Heroes". Her guardian didn't seem fit for action so I took it upon myself to care for her. You know what they say, children have such easily molded minds."
He turns towards Razoreye, lowering his voice to little more then a whisper "But do not believe she is a liability, I have killed in cold blood in front of her, undazed. I can do so again if need be." He turns back towards Eledwhen, bearing a more upbeat manner then before.

"Then you'd make a better guardian than most in the wastes," Razoreye calmly states. He doesn't miss a beat or recoil from this part of the conversation. The griffon continues on after a second.
"Seems it is too common to shrink away to survive instead of live these days. Too many become husks of a being or lose all thought of what separates themselves from base insects."
He looks Lamianos straight in his eyes before finishing the thought. "Speaking of which, it would be a nice change of pace if you would appreciate help bringing the slavers in line."

Eledwhen giggles like mad. My brain is not dough, Lamia! She presses her head. Solid as ever.

Lamianos is almost surprised by the Griffin's proposition. Almost. Nodding his head Lamianos says "I'd appreciate all the help I can get. Welcome aboard." He trots over to Eledwhen, turns back towards Razoreye and says "Eledwhen, this is Razoreye, he'll be accompanying us on our way to..... Ponyville. Yes... perfect. No one seems to own that hornet's nest as far as I can tell."
He pauses for a moment "You positive about this Razoreye? Taking over Ponyville is no small task, it's going to take alot of planning, work, and will still be dangerous. I'd completely understand if you had second hesitations about fixing Equestria this way."

The foal gives Lamia a kiss on the nose. Is Ponyville like Appleloosa?

Bright Eyes chuckled when Lucky got pillowed, and at the pair's expressions as they drank. "I never really liked the taste of that stuff either. Still, clears you up just like that!" Sure enough, the hangover cure seemed to be working already.
"Anyway, I don't see why we can't just forget it ever happened. After all, the both of you seem to have gotten there already. So, shall we hit the road soon?"

Lamianos didn't mind the light weight of the foal, but he sighed at her buoyant jovial attitude. She seemed to pick up on the fact that he couldn't do anything to her from behind rather quickly. Good. Learn your enemies weaknesses. Lamianos lowered his head, trying to slide Eledwhen off on his neck before saying "It's exactly like Old Appleloosa, although a bit less.... organized. But don't expect it to be like New Appleloosa."
