Re: PS5 confirmed for 2020
Huh. That controller stuff sounds cool. Possibly better VR too.
Re: PS5 confirmed for 2020
I varrly used the last two, so I'm going to just buy Nintendo for now on.
Re: PS5 confirmed for 2020
I think pressure sensitive buttons had been around for quite some time on the controllers.. But it was very rarely used because it was pretty hard to guess how hard you are pressing.
Re: PS5 confirmed for 2020
Feels like information we already had, honestly - I mean, I guess the holiday release window wasn't confirmed, but given history and the fact that they said it would be a 2020 launch back when they first officially announced its existence it was pretty obvious. I guess the controller stuff is the new info, but honestly I'm not even fully sure I understand what a lot of that means, and some of their attempts to explain it make me slightly worried it's things I actually don't want to be there (how do they make the controller feel "soggy" and make that a good thing?).
Anyway though, I'm still just waiting for news about actual games. There's little doubt I'll be getting a PS5, it's mostly a question of when. With the PS4 and Switch I waited about a year after release before they had enough games I wanted out already and on the horizon for me to decide it was to get them; we'll see if they can have enough things of interest earlier in the PS5's lifespan for me to get it before the holidays 2021. I have seen rumors that a Playstation All-Stars 2 is in development with the intention of it being a launch title for the system, so if that's true, they might get my interest there, provided they learned from the mistakes of the first one. Though it could be totally untrue and just someone spreading rumors of something they want to happen too.

It's really common on the trigger buttons. Most used in driving sims, but action games like GTA that have cars use them to vary the speed of a vehicle.
Re: PS5 confirmed for 2020
So long as it's backward compatible with PS4, I have no issue getting it straight away. That hasn't been true for the last two Sony consoles, so I've never considered getting them until over a year past release. With this have no real objection unless it's painfully overpriced.
As I'm interested in the FF7 Remake, I'm glad that I won't need two different systems around to play all the instalments.
