The monk drops out of his readied stance, seeing no good avenue for a charge that would not put his gut on some skeleton's sword. Instead, he simply punches the one before him, trying to dust it.

Draziw blasts away two of the skeletons before retreating into the hallway. Verin and Laina both rush the skeleton beside Crane but are unable to strike the creature. Crane then knocks it to pieces before advancing to the next skeleton in the hallway.
Two more skeletons appear before the once again attack the heroes. Crane takes the brunt of the attack and is knocked to the ground unconscious while one strikes Laina, drawing blood from her side.

Draziw blasts away the skeleton menacing Laina before pausing to catch his breath. Verin then tries to drop the skeleton between himself and the fallen warrior but is unable to land the blow. Laina comes and disposes of the creature before rushing at another, only to have her rush go wide. Crane, laying on the ground bleeding profusely, draws closer to death.
The remaining skeletons attack the heroes again, the one next to Laina removes most of her temporary adrenaline with a sword blow while the other two shoot harmlessly wide of Verin.

Finally the lines of the Skeletons seems to thin out. Draziw is still holding his orb, but now he moves again between his comrades and shoots his missiles to two of the undead at a time, killing them with the magical force field that is accellerated fast enough to break their bones.
Only one is left! Get him before more join this vile creature!
Crane seems seriously wounded.

Once the fight is over Draziw hurry up to reach crane, kneeing beside him. The wounds have made him bleeding and he'll probably die if no one stopps the blood running out of him. Draziw rips a bit of his robe apart and binds it around the injury, hoping his basic knowledge about healing might be enough to save him.

After Crane is in safety Draziw immediatly is analyzing what has braught this danger over them. If he calculates it right the sarcophagi will begin again to spit out undead creatures in some minutes. They have to be fast.
Now we should find a way to stop this sarcophagi to bring more undead into this hall. I have analyzed the magic that brought our new friend here, but it seems to have been just a fluke that interacted with the magic altar.
The original skeletons though seems to have attacked us intentionally. It is some kind of trap. If i understand this spell good enough it is bound to the altar, and i think we should destroy it.
Otherwise we will gain just more and more skeletons when we come back.

Hundreds of years ago, in lifes long forgotten draziw had lost the memory of the god he once had praid to. He searched for new faith, started to pray to a different god in each life.
And while he loses most of the prayers he has spoken in a foregone lifetime some things still can be remembered.

If something goes wrong with the altar and you are not able to stop the undead from rising again, you will need help in fighting them back. I will wait here with the Monk, you help the wizard and make sure he doesn't run into any trouble. If you encounter trouble, yell and come running our way, and we will all leave together."

I think we should stay in this light. The power of the dragon seems to protect the area, now that I have spoken the words of faith. The platinum one is a just and noble lord, we can trust in his protection.
But I still believe we should investigate not any further before the next of our days. I'll take first watch.
Draziw would rather rather send a message to winterheaven, but it is risky to go out in the woods until crane is healed.

Weeping Crane
With Laina's help, the severely injured monk limps over to the light and sits in restful meditation, book of prayers to Ioun in his lap. He loses consciousness almost immediately, before he even has a chance to read from his book as usual.
In his dreams, he is visited by one of his old tutors at the Monastery. He remembers a technique he once knew, made dormant by his emotionally scarring. A technique in which one focuses one's spirit energy to act as an extension of the body, wielding it as a reach weapon, not simply reinforcing one's fists. In the dreamscape he smiles at this remembered knowledge and wonders what else he may have lost in the corridors of his shattered mind.
He awakes refreshed to take the last watch in the cool, holy glow of Bahamut's shrine.

When morning comes draziw is reading one of his books, trying to find out more about the keep he don't already knows.
"It is hard to judge the right path without knowledge, but a door is a door and we should at least look behind it."
He watches his comrades to wake up and tries to look into the future what fate they might have. It is more a feeling than a vision, but still enough for the wizard to warn or encourage them.
