If nothing else, we're treating Durkula as the same character as living-Durkon, and living-Durkon is a protagonist, so he should retain his listing position.
He was a protagonist for the majority of the series so far, and this thread tracks where people were during the series, so it makes sense to keep him as a protagonist.

EDIT: Girard Draketooth (as Statue)
You forgot Girard Draketooth. That's his statue-feet on top of the coffin they hid in.
Yea, his feet are there, I agree that it should count as an appearance for Girard.

Redcloak and Xykon's 100th strip.
Does the Silicon Elemental count as a named character, or do you wait for another appearance? It does have a name tag of sorts...
I'll wait for another appearance.
Considering it is highly likely to appear in the very next strip, I'd say it isn't worth arguing about whether to count it as a "named character with one appearance" quite yet.
That's fair.
As a matter of principle, though, I would consider it unnamed. Its label just says its species, not its own personal name, and we have no way of distinguishing it from any other elder silicon elemental.
Though it probably will become moot.

An interesting point of contention. My feeling is this:
You point out that it's not pure silicon. Do we know for a fact that the chlorine and osmium elementals were pure?
Calling it a Silicon Elemental would follow the established naming convention, as well as the title which is printed right on its chest.
I mean, if a seahorse showed up in the comic, we'd call it a seahorse, never mind that they aren't actually horses. That's just what they're called.
I think it should be called a silicon elemental, considering it has a label identifying it as one.
Yeah, Redcloak's elemental's are pretty well established to be based on the periodic table of elements. A sand elemental wouldn't have the silicon label.
It's clearly supposed to be a silicon elemental. That's what we should list it as.
martianmister already changed it to Silicon yesterday.
