Re: Werewolf V: Werewolf DnD
El Jaspero looks up at the gallows in utter shock. He's on the verge of weeping, vomiting, or possibly both. "Ceika, no...how could you have betrayed us?"
He turns to the crowd and murmurs, "Forgive me, friends." before staggering back to the tavern in a daze.

Re: Werewolf V: Werewolf DnD
((hey you ghosts, it's kinda annoying to read through your posts. could you keep it down to less than half the page?))
Good work. I didn't believe lucky. I guess you were right. I thought a 50/50 chance was better than random pointing. guess not. I'm going to hide in my bed now. Raven barricades herself in her house.

Re: Werewolf V: Werewolf DnD
"Is it just me, or does our efficiency in killing wolves seem to indicate something slightly sinister may be afoot?"
-
Re: Werewolf V: Werewolf DnD
I am not surprised that Ceika was a wolf. Now, We need to ascertain their numbers. There are 30 of us left. I suspect that a fifth of us being wolves is probably over estimating them. However, in each passing day the numbers dwindle, and the wolves run out of hiding places. If we keep this up, victory will be ours.
-
Re: Werewolf V: Werewolf DnD
"I agree with EK. At most, I would say there are 5 wolves left, and the only one with a special power would be the Rogue, who won't be too much of a hassle with his power." Church looks up at the floating Goblin Music. "Sure, I'll play cards. Have you got some?"
-
Re: Werewolf V: Werewolf DnD
they like myself are incorporeal
-
Re: Werewolf V: Werewolf DnD
"Hmm... you move the cards as if I were really grabbing some. Can't you manipulate stuff like that?"
-
Re: Werewolf V: Werewolf DnD
Helgraf shook his head ... it was good that another wolf was exposed, but he still suspected the llama/fairy/whatzit.
"Wonder who is going to get murdered tonight," he grumbled morosely.
-
Re: Werewolf V: Werewolf DnD
Yay for us. Yet another werewolf is down. Well, I'm tired. I'm going to sleep.
With that, the Captain walks back to his house for some much needed rest.

The illithid's disposition sours and it floats back over to its home in a bit of a funk.
Telepathy ain't what it used to be...

"I knew it, all the guards in this town are corrupt and evil. You can never trust law enforcement. Huzzah for the village! This village rocks!"
-
Re: Werewolf V: Werewolf DnD
So it seems Gez was right to throw rocks at them, who knew?
-
Re: Werewolf V: Werewolf DnD
Not entirely, Ink. Decken was a bloody priest, for Iggy's Telecommunicated Sake!
Fullbadder retreats fully into his office, burning the midnight oil.

*DLD's ghost appears and starts laughing at the comments that are being said*
Yes, you go ahead and do that, little villagers...
-
Re: Werewolf V: Werewolf DnD
"Indeed. Poor little Gez, she was right on the money. At least her spirit should be satisfied now that we've lynched their furry hides."
"Ah, Decken... I told him not to be a guard. I told him manure shovelling was a perfectly good and respectable occupation... I warned him I did. But nooo... he wanted the glamour and the glory. Look where that has gotten him now."
-
Re: Werewolf V: Werewolf DnD
((wow, three games and I've been lynched, eaten and auto-lynched. Maybe next game I'll survive))
Wow, It's a good thing we have a lynch mob doing our werewolf killings for us. Our guards are mostly werewolves.

Re: Werewolf V: Werewolf DnD
Jontom's ghost gives DLD's ghost a good kicking and then turns and does the same for Ceika.
"I trusted you in all previous lives. We were in the guards together several times! Take this!"
<kick kick kick>
Dissatissfied with mere kicking, Jontom hefts his ghostly blades in a meaningful manner.
-
Re: Werewolf V: Werewolf DnD
TheRabidWalnut wakes up, and promptly goes back to bed. This unerring accuracy of wolf detection is making me uneasy...
-
Re: Werewolf V: Werewolf DnD
//OOC Umm, TRW, you're dead - auto-lynched.

((I was gonna send you the cast list at the end of the game to tease you, but it seems you've noticed already :smallamused: ))
*DLD laughs again, this time at JX*
That kicking ain't gonna work. I wear armour in this form. Apparently it still works when the wearer is a ghost. Interesting...
*DLD ponders some more over this fact and ignores that JX is drawing weapons*
Eeeeeexcellent...

Re: Werewolf V: Werewolf DnD
Kyrian sees the hanging and finds a bush to puke in.
Now, pirate I'd known about when we were together...but this??
He hurls again.

Exachix sighs, smiling faintly, before heading off, quietly, to bed.

Re: Werewolf V: Werewolf DnD
Day 7 Starts! Sorry I'm so late!
As written by the wolves:
Stillness once again envelops the village in her uneasy embrace, and the guards pat their arms and cup their hands to breath on them to stay warm. Overhead the moon's waning eye moves close to closed as though her nightly vigil above the village is taking its toll and she can barely stand to watch what transpires each night. Unwilling to disappoint, shadows flit across rooftops and dance along the outskirts of the guards peripheral vision, causing the occasional jerk of the head and neck hairs to stand on end. A guttural growl rumbles through the night air, bouncing off cobblestone and wall, and answered by several more from varying direction. The guards find themselves surrounded, though the wolves don't close on them but keep them wary and nervous, hands on hilts and bowstrings. Before long it is obvious what the hellhounds are up to. First the smell of smoke wafts with the night breeze and trigger instinctual responses that chill the guard's blood, and secondly an inhuman shriek fills the night, waking the birds from their rests and sending them fluttering wildly away from the village. As lamps are lit and windows begin to light up, an eerie glow moves back and forth behind the windows of the jailor's home, and a second shriek pierces the night. Just as the guards move toward Lord Fullbladder's home, the sheriff burst through the front door surrounded in a sheath of fire, flailing and screaming in agony. Halfway through his third scream, the Goblin's body arches and goes still before falling forward to the ground still alight. A dagger hilt sticks out from the base of his skull.
Once the body has been put out and the house inspected, the walls are covered with a message written in what appears to be Goblin blood. A lot of Goblin blood:
"Dead men do tell tales. Thanks ghosties."
As written by me:
A search of his home uncovers many animal skins clearly caught by someone skilled in tracking.
Lord Fullbladder, the Ranger, was eaten by wolves.
Day 7 ends Saturday at 12 PM. After that will be another 2 day night. That is all.

Might be. I actually contemplated a bit whether to send it or not. However, I considered the joke to be so clearly aimed at Fullbladders IC role, that I thought it would do no harm.

Re: Werewolf V: Werewolf DnD
El J staggers from the tavern, barely above the stupor inflicted by the knowledge of Ceika's betrayal. "The ranger too? Well that sucks!" He leans against the tavern's front wall and starts talking to a mouse.
-
Re: Werewolf V: Werewolf DnD
Alarra lets out a deeply discouraged sigh. "This is not good. Really really not good."
She glances over at Gralamin...I'll go with you on this...since Joos is #2 on my list of suspects...and I've seen no better evidence. I would however like to know how you're so sure.
*Alarra points at Joosbawx
