What's the best size for a webcomic page?
I'm looking for some opinions as to what size pages people think are best for a webcomic. I dislike comics that squash a lot into small panels, but I've also seen comics that are so big they require you to scroll to see the whole thing, which is okay if it is only occasionally, like OOTS, but I prefer not to have every comic like that.
Of course, how big a page displays depends on your computer screen, but it would be helpful to get an idea of the average height (in pixels!) people think a page should be, and also what width looks best.
Thanks!

Actually it depends on what you are planning to do... For some one panel is enough... for others they need 14 panels... I just follow the same size as the giant

I do my comics at 300 height, usually 300 width too for about 4-8 panels. I usually only do small comics though.

Are you talking specifically about OotS style strips, or just webcomics in general?

Let me clarify: I'm talking about a portrait-layout, non-OOTS style comic, with about four lines of panels. What I need to know is what size will have people squinting and what size will make people have to scroll across to see everything, so I can choose something between those.
At the moment I'm planning on using 650x800ish, but wondering if something bigger would be better.
I realize this is probably insanely hard for you to judge. :smallsigh:

It really depends on the art style, I'd say; some styles need bigger panels than others.

I say you make some sample comics with different sizes and let us judge
