Lets all hope he doesn't have any ranks in Sense Motive :smalleek:
The man looks at you with a small smile "Sure i'll head up there." and he rushs up the stairs, and you quickly lose sight of him.
If he senses that his ruse is working, Vash whispers over to Thar while he orders a drink and drink his mutagen. If I知 not back in a few, come lend me a hand. He then winks to Thar with a smile. He値l take the drink in his off-hand. Once upstairs he値l enter the room, keeping his back to the door. So, over 1000 you say, how much so? As soon as he痴 within striking distance he値l eject his spring loaded dagger and drive it deep into the mans leg, followed by a 5foot step back and draw his elven blade.
If he suspects that the man is on to him, He値l skip the drink order, and instead instruct Thar to follow him up. Once upstairs (out of sight from downstairs bar patrons), he値l draw his sword and move to strike immediately.

DC20 for a hunch
Attack: [roll1] attacking Flat-Footed AC, otherwise it's the sword at +9 (so just +1 more)
Dagger: [roll2]
Sneak Damage: [roll3]
Sword Damage: [roll4] (6str+3str+1enh)
So no clue on the hunch, and in either case, likely a hit for 16 or 17 dmg.
as you walk up to the room the man is looking out the window, and turns as your hidden blade springs out, however he reacts in time so the blade only nicks his thigh, Though the injury is still deep it's not completely inhibiting.

As the healing magic takes, The burns and blisters begin to close and Vash starts to come to. What the what??... Wow... didn't see that one coming. He takes a quick look around. I suppose that with the lack of a corpse, he has gotten away. He then gets up and reloads his dagger into the wrist sheath.
Bishop was putting an honest days work in for the first time in awhile and it felt good. It was a nice distraction to use his hands for something other than killing while working up a sweat. The rhytmic sounds of the forge were also fairly relaxing, it was too bad that his modifications were going so slow. To be fair he was somewhat new to this but all the same he hated to have to impose on these fine folks another day to finish up. The sound of the explosion sounded, ringing through the forge, Bishop's first instinct was to drop and cover but after noticing that the sound didn't come from the forge he dusted off his clothes and walked outside. The cloud of smoked drifted from the inn Bloody hell, what have those fools done now?

SpoilerJust to see if I can spot the man running away lol

Casually strolling into the inn, Bishop shakes his head at the chaos ensuing people freaking out, hunched under tables and the inn keeper crying to himself behind the counter. Noticing his companions were not downstairs Bishop cursed aloud and walked up the stairs. Upon seeing the orc bent over half charred half elf Bishop couldn't help himself but laugh "That'll learn ya, working with chemicals, by the way the no eyebrow look doesn't suit ya."
SpoilerYou don't see anyone of note, though their are quite a few people running
as bishop walks up the stairs, the Seer gets up and walks with him, briefly telling him what she saw happening.
Hey barkeep, who watches the docks? Who do I talk to about their security? As he waits for a reply, he checks himself over and brushes off any loose soot.
the little man just stares at vash for a moment I'm sorry if you didn't realize this but if you want information, or a place to stay, you should blow up peoples things, get out of my inn and go somewhere else!
What the!!! If you didn't notice, I was the one attacked here. I could only wish to summon this kind of power.
The innkeeper seems to be getting even angrier Your a trouble maker, and I don't care if you were attacked, your not dead and can walk, leave!
Thar
Watching Vash walk away without some much of any show of gratitude Thar goes back to his seat and finishes his tankard.
Bishop looks back and forth at the men arguing and represses an urge to laugh, calmly and with a stright face Bishop looks at the propritor "Excuse me sah but may I interupt you for a moment, I was wondering if I could get some dinner and a tankard of ale, actually can you make it two of each I really worked up a hunger from being in the forge all day."
looking over to Bishop "Yes sir, one moment." the little innkeeper then notices Thar "Do you need something?" trying his best to be polite. Then he goes back to telling Vash to leave.
