My cousin has tons, too. I gave him all of mine, and he gets a set every Christmas that we build together. ^_^
...is the only thing he ever does that doesn't include potential permanent injury or police action. >.<
And Phoe, you know you love having your catgirl slavedriver. =3
You two are adorable. *snuggles*

JSTOR is my essay saviour. It's just so wonderfully useful. I love that site, shame, but I don't think it'll work when I go home. Probably only works when connected to a university network.

Glad you found somewhere to stay and that you're employed. I'd commit . . . GBH up to breaking several bones if it meant I could have a job.

All it takes is writing again. I miss my creative writing too, but I've read so much criticism and books and criticism on those books as well as literary theory it should help.
Just need to dive back in again.

Oh my! Cobra, I just realised why your avatar is so familiar! It looks eerily similar to T-Rex, Panel 2

The most difficult part of writing is always convincing myself to actually do it rather than staying on the internet. And then the first few sentences. Once you get going it flows.

And you have some amazing chocolate available there, SMEE. A friend sent me some. They tell me that I was levitating through here a few days ago, although all I remember is imbibing some and waking up the next morning with a metallic aftertaste in my throat.

Well, the mouth does look similar to T-Rex's, but I can't see any other resemblance.

Indeed we do. They are my best friend when these cramps hit... and did they hit early and strong this time. :smallsigh:

I'm sick!

This time it's 35.9 degrees C un-fever and a headache. That's annoying, since I want/have to do stuff at school and such.

Why do people always figure out my plans?
Also, what's with all this chocolate-related discussion? Because I want some too.

Re: Perenelle's Pleasantly Playful and Passionately Peculiar Random Banter #133
Sheesh, just give the power cord away and write the old-fashioned way..

It's better to write in the format that feels most natural/comfortable to you. If you deviate too far from your comfort zone, everything starts to feel contrived, and it can hurt your writing.
I've tried many a trick - different materials, different scenery, different times of day, different company... in the end, you'll write the way you're going to write, or you won't write at all. There's two real tricks: convincing yourself that you can write something worthwhile, and then convincing yourself you don't have to.
Such a strange art...

Same here.
Favorite kind of chocolate?
I'm partial to dark, myself, though only in small amounts. Unless it's with some kid of fruit. Raspberry or cherry with dark chocolate is simply divine, and orange is quite good, too. Or strawberry.
I also adore super creamy milk chocolate. The kind that just melts in your mouth. Mmmmmmm...
EDIT: Phoe, what's your avatar of? She's so beautiful, but I keep forgetting to ask. >.<

Re: Perenelle's Pleasantly Playful and Passionately Peculiar Random Banter #133
Hey, getting something down is better than being on the forums for three hours without any ideas.
Kids, remember: procrastination is like masturbation, in the end you're just f-ing yourself!

Dark chocolate is yummy indeed. Cherries make it even better.
I also like white chocolate. This, for example has always been one of my favourites.

Toblerone is amazing. For srs. <3
-
Re: Perenelle's Pleasantly Playful and Passionately Peculiar Random Banter #133
This is the only white chocolate I will eat.
Toblerone is good, Hershey's is great (I ate it last about... 10 years ago or so), Lindt's... was it double milk or double chocolate? Don't remember. And Kit-Kat. And Kismet. And and and and...... *drools and drowns*
