You think Wizard/Cleric is appropriate for Cuddles? Or should i go with Wizard/Paladin?
I think paladin might suit him better.
Owrtho
Does he do any fighting tho? he seems more of a wise man type kitty.
Wuld Cuddles have a Familiar?
I agree with Owrtho as while he may not fight much he's always ready to smite evil.
As for having a familiar, I can actually see that, though he'd probably be the type to keep his familiar out of the action out of fear of it dying (which is why it is not well known).
I ask because there are always class variant levels I could use. He could have some ability other than a Familiar.
Since nobody else has worked on the Schrödinger's Domain, I thought I'd take a stab at it.

why plant based poisons?
Because the original experiment was predicated on poisoning the cat with a derivative of cyanide which is plant based. It also balances well with the other domain powers. Full poison immunity is too powerful as a domain power.Quote:
Why plant-based poisons?

Ah. I was wondering why you just didnt say non magical poisons.
Minor update to cuddles. Still looking for wizard variants to replace the familiar
So does everyone agree with Debbies idea for the Schrodingers Domain? If so I can edit it into Snuggles.
i guess thats a yes then.
Minor Cuddles update.
My PC is crapping out on me due to age, but I may be able to make a ew one next week. If i can't keep the current one going, there may be some downtime.
Minor Cuddles update.
Keep up the good work. Also, not sure about others, but agree with Debbies idea for the Schrödinger's Domain.
Owrtho
Indeed, so far a very good job.
ot the Schrodinger Domain abilities edited into Snuggles. Any thoughts on Salient Divine Abilities for Cuddles?
While I'm asking that does anyone actually have Deities and Demigods? If not I can give a general clue as to whats available.
Okay guys I got the parts ordered for the new PC. Bear with me a bit longer and I can get back to really working on this.
Bhu, I doubt that anyone is in a great rush for this. I don't even think the original poster does much with this thread any more as the first post hasn't been edited in quite some time.
I'm glad you liked the Schrödinger's Domain. Anyone want to stat up a Schrödinger's Cat, which is probably an undead creature that appears to be a normal cat during the day but at night it appears rather gruesome.
Debby
Well, actually I've just been waiting for things to be completely finished before updating it. But your right there isn't too much of a rush. As for a Schrödinger's Cat, I'd expect something more along the lines of that people have an x% chance to see it as a normal cat or one a little more dead.
Owrtho
I just couldn't resist.... Please let me know if I messed anything up.

The now famous cleric-wizard Schrödinger was a disciple of Snuggles. His familiar was poisoned by cyanide and became the first Schrödinger's cat. Unfortunately, the familiar's name was lost to the annals of time.
A Schrödinger's cat is spontaneously created when a wizard’s cat dies from being poisoned with cyanide. The same cyanide that caused its death now flows through its saliva.
During the day, a Schrödinger's cat appears as a normal living cat. Not even a true seeing spell will reveal its undead nature. A detect aura spell reveals it as a normal neutral cat. More importantly, a Schrödinger's cat is unaffected by a cleric’s turn or rebuke undead ability during the day.
Only at night does the Schrödinger's cat reveal its neutral evil alignment and undead status. As soon as the sun sets, the Schrödinger's cat undergoes a frightful transformation, becoming unnaturally thin with decaying flesh and missing tufts of fur. It will attack anyone other than its master.
Even in undeath, Schrödinger's cats are loyal to their masters, regardless of alignment, and will not harm them unless forced by magical or supernatural means.
Combat
Schrödinger's cats prefer to sneak up on their prey. They rely on their poisonous bite to kill prey and defend themselves.
Poison (Ex): Schrödinger's cats have a poisonous bite. Initial damage is 1d6 points of hit point loss; secondary damage of 1d6 Con. A successful save halves the damage (DC is 13 and includes a +2 racial bonus). The save is constitution-based.
Skills: Schrödinger's cats have a +4 racial bonus on Climb, Hide, and Move Silently checks and a +8 racial bonus on Jump checks. Schrödinger's cats have a +8 racial bonus on Balance checks. They use their Dexterity modifier instead of their Strength modifier for Climb and Jump checks. *In areas of tall grass or heavy undergrowth, the Hide bonus rises to +8.

Absolutely evil...I luv it!
Looks nice. Might suggest some fluff relating it to the cat pantheon though.

OK other than spells per day, Feats, and the rest of the Salient Divine Abilities, CUddles should be done.
Apparently making a PC is less time consuming than I thought. Lemme finish re-uploading all my stuff and I'll be back to work.
You left off the granted power in the Pie Domain in the first post: "You cast spells with the food or drink descriptor at +1 caster level"
Alternatively, you could gain the Cast Iron Stomach feat which is open gaming content from Seafarers Handbook.
CAST-IRON STOMACH [General]
You can consume the most unpleasant fare without so much as a second thought.
Prerequisite: Con 13
Benefit: You derive nourishment from spoiled food and can avoid dehydration by drinking seawater with few ill effects. By subsisting on these unusual provisions, you double the amount of time you can go without fresh food and water.
Normal: Without this feat you can go without food for three days, after which time you must make a Constitution check (DC 10, + 1 for each previous check) or take 1d6 points of nonlethal damage. Without this feat you can go without fresh water for one day plus a number of hours equal to your Constitution score, after which you must make Constitution checks as described above, with similar effects for failed checks.
Special: For this feat to take effect, you must have access to formerly edible foods and a supply of salt water. Otherwise, you are just as vulnerable to starvation and dehydration as any other character.

How about "once per day you may summon a delicious pie"
The pie domain already lets you do that with the create food and water spell [desserts and after-dinner drinks only] at level 4.
Has anyone statted out catnip? I would think it would be a poison resulting in mild euphoria -- causes cats to be distracted for 1d4+1 rounds (Will save negates). It probably has a DC 12. It doesn't seem to work on the larger cats, such as lions and tigers. While distracted, cats will roll around and purr.
Debby
Isn't it supposed to be a mild hallucinogen as well?
