Yet Another Fantasy Gamer Comic
Here's thread two to continue the discussion. Above is a link to the comic.
Thread TWO? It's a daily webcomic that updates since 2007 and it's only thread TWO? what's wrong with us :/
Yea, well….its very explainable actually I read the comic, was one of the longest things I ever read… but I don't actually remember anything about it.
weird thing is I don't remember when I read it. about a year ago at the very least. Probably two. thats a long time. what do I remember? something about a half-orc? a goblin and a beholder? a ghost or something? Meh.
I would like to throw out the suggestion that we change the thread title to:
"Yet Another Fantasy Gamer Thread"
Maybe with "(YAFGC Thread 2)" afterwards if you think it's necessary (though I don't)
What kind of demons lack darkvision?
Yeah, those don't seem like the typical outer plane demons anyway.

Are D&D Demons zombie proof? I mean you can smoked them with silver (blade, arrows, blunts, and bullets if it has one)
What makes you assume they're "D&D Demons?" There are a lot of other fantasy/game systems in the world besides that one, and nothing canonically saying that the strip in question follows the "rules" of any of them.
If they were D&D Demons, would they not be free to return to their own plane if they wanted to "get off this island" unless bound there by other forces, in which case they also couldn't leave with Safana in any case?
They're definitely not dnd demons. Don't forget that there was a whole arc based on Dungeon Keeper. :smalltongue:

Update!
SpoilerGuess we won't know if demons and devils can be turned into zombies.
Computer crash has delayed YAFGC... Back Shortly.
I get what you mean, though I generally remember random bits and pieces. I think I appreciate the character interactions more than the stories themselves, even if I don't necessarily remember character names later on.
Though I do remember hating the "reveal" that Lucas had feelings for Cadugan. Crying Cadugan's name because he got spooked by thunder? Really? :smallsigh: Guy's made of tougher stuff than that.
I was wondering why it hadn't updated. Thanks!
And we're back in business! Nice meta-joke...:smallwink:

SpoilerHe could have ordered Mead, since it is close to beer (like Viking Beer).
Fangtastic!
First Sheriff Rosa, and now our favorite Dread Pirate is back! This arc may be redeemable after all.
This arc has been a bit of a rollercoaster so far for me...
I'm liking most of the new characters.
Then they bring in Cadugan who is probably the character I dislike the most (though I did find the satyr gag funny so maybe it was worth it if we're done with him).
Sheriff Rosa I'm indifferent to. Captain Fang I love though.
Really wanting to see where this one goes, so I'm happy so far.
See now, that's why you should have brought a kobold along! Although the last one we saw was Fang and I suspect he'd have somehow gotten away with that.
Captain Fang would've made it through there using nothing but the amazing power of hisquite literal dumb luckbadass pirate skills.
I persist in following that one, good thing about it is that it's 'published' on daily basis... if you like it try reading Looking for Group or Pawn ;)
The chief problem with YAFGC is its update schedule is a bit too fast. Rich is a perfectly competent writer and artist when he actually tries (as has been proven a few times throughout the comic's life), but most comics are literally thrown together in 15 minutes, the arcs made up as he goes along from day to day. This isn't likely to change either as he considers the comic itself to be little more than a cute little time waster for his spare moments.
His work is always amusing but it's really, really hard to create mystery or suspense without planning.
