Snuggling FTW!
I'll pass on the bugles and doritos. Does anyone have any pistachios?

Not with most people, no.
Only with one particular person do I have a wish to snuggle.

Crunchy treat? I have not heard of this foodstuff. What is it? Some sort of ...loud...snack?
I personally was talking about the instrument. I was reminded of these wonderful objects because I found one under my bed today. It was given to me wrapped in the Bombay Times (or something similar) by a friend of the family from Bombay. It tastes of dusty valve oul though. :smallyuk:
Trumpets are best. I play one (badly) although I've pretty much lost my embouchure after getting a stick through my upper lip a year or so ago. Boo.

Well, chocolate is a given.

There are no other kinds of Doritos. There is only Nacho Cheese. Just there is no Highlander 2 or Starship Troopers movies.

Aaaaaanyway. Had a random thought after watching SGA season 4 "Midway" (great ep btw) - who's on SG-1 now? Cam, Daniel, Vala and...?

I'll second what Cassie said. Obivously I'm referring to a different person though, but still.

You could always grind him up and sell him as a cheap, high-quality meat product suitable for orphan consumption?

These conversations are making me hungry.
*reads above*
Wait. Nevermind.
*pushes away bowl of icecream*

Re: Jack Squat's Justlessly Juxtaposed Random Banter #101
You can tell it's not spam by the 'high-quality' meat part. That is one thing spam is not.
No.
Nonono.
Corned beef is better.

Re: Jack Squat's Justlessly Juxtaposed Random Banter #101
Spam Spam Spam Spam....
You could have the Bacon, Spam, Spam, Eggs, and Spam.
And now I'm hungry too...
Luckily I have nutri-grain bars at my desk to help me hold over until lunch...
Nutri-Grain, FTW!

Ah, very true. I forgot that Spam can only really be loosely classified as meat.

I can do one dirt-cheap, third-hand, suitable for use on anything shorter than an orphan. You might wanna clean out the bloodstains though. And the urine. Only fifty bucks, interested?
Meanwhile... Anti-Folk! It rocks!

Re: Jack Squat's Justlessly Juxtaposed Random Banter #101
Saxophones, especially those of the 'tenor' variant, are considered by the intelligent population to be, as they say, sexy. Furthermore, those who are proficient in the use of saxophones, again, especially the tenor variant, are therefore generally considered 'sexy'.

Re: Jack Squat's Justlessly Juxtaposed Random Banter #101
Nah. No one likes saxamaphone players. :smalltongue:
Anti-Folk? What is this?
-
Re: Jack Squat's Justlessly Juxtaposed Random Banter #101
Its a relatively recent music movement that uses many of the same techniques and instruments of what is traditionally known as "folk" but not about the same subject matter...
Am I close on that? The Moldy Peaches is one notable example.
Thank You Wikipedia!

Mm...no...There's sexier instruments.
Flutes playing low notes are extremely awesome. And smexy sounding. Hate flute high notes though. And the flute has to be played by the right sort of person...
Hmm. Maybe it's the person I find attractive rather than the instrument. =P Don't find instruments or those who play said instruments sexy, to be honest.
@^ That's Filk, isn't it? The parodies and the sci-fi songs?
When you land on Bailey 7
You may not like what you see
There are monsters there behind each rock
And under every tree
There are demon flies up in the skies
And manticores beneath
And there's...Little, Fuzzy, Animals.
With Big Sharp Teeth!

I'm having flashbacks to "A Bluegrass Tribute to Metallica."
Yes, you read that right, Bluegrass-style covers of Metallica...

I saw that. It was awesome.

Re: Jack Squat's Justlessly Juxtaposed Random Banter #101
Metallica is one of the few Heavy bands that I genuinely enjoy. I am very much eclectic in my musical taste but my favorite three artists (my holy musical trinity, as I refer to it) are Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, and Billy Joel. Can't get enough of those guys...
Beyond them though, I usually stick to the Punk/Alternative circuits.
