Proposal: Pathfinder RPG Subforum
Pathfinder 2 is coming.
PF2 playtest threads are already hot topics which see prolific discussion.
Furthermore, there will soon be 3 full games under the PF banner: Pathfinder, Starfinder, and Pathfinder 2e -- and IMHO only the former can be called a "d20" spin-off from 3.5e.
Currently, many threads in the 3.5e/d20 subforum must have a section in the initial post which details which game the thread is asking advice about -- and while thread banners exist for games, they conflict with functional thread banners like "DM Help" and "Optimization".
I propose a new subform for Pathfinder, Starfinder, PF2e and Pathfinder spinoffs.
If the current number of Roleplaying Games sub-forums must be preserved, then I'd suggest merging either the 4e subforum or the 3e subforum with the AD&D subforum.
If we can tolerate having an additional subforum, then just make a separate one, and prune the 3.x subforum only if traffic dies down too much.

But aside from the inherent (and eternal) line drawing problem noted ^, it's also a technical resource issue. Additional subforums increase the burden on the system.
But I appreciate you bringing the news about PF development to our attention. It's at least worth considering whether this changes anything, though I suspect not.
