This can only end in hilarity.
Also, Serrin's a yaoi fangirl, as this comic demonstrates.

Oh, I don't know whenever to facepalm, resort to Brain Bleach, or break into insane laughing fit. Chances are that I will do all three.

If you mean Coffee should either make the comic stay/become PG-13 or stop posting the comic here, then... Yeah. Hopefully the first one.

Oh, no. There's this glitch that comes up where the thread broadcasts that someone has posted, but the post just doesn't show up until someone else posts. This was such a case.

Already done. I wrote one of a tender meeting between Roy and Lloyd.

There are TWO posting glitches on this site. The one that happened here is a 500 server error.
-
Re: Murphy's Law 7: ...Maybe?
503s and 'Server too busy', too.

Re: Murphy's Law 7: ...Maybe?
"STOP SAYING WORDS!"
:smallbiggrin::smallbiggrin::smallbiggrin:
As to when Serrin discovers fanfiction she will either flood the market or spend a lot of time in her room... alone. Or both!
Keep up the good work, Coffee!

And no one wonders what the poor animals think when THEY witness these things. :smallamused: *throws gold coins at Lloyd and Matt so Tinder jumps in*

Pffft, if that was a problem with the guy code there are thousands (hundreds of thousands even) of people committing infractions.

Re: Murphy's Law 7: ...Maybe?
Well, the golden era of fanfiction did start only after the internet became common. I don't think Aequar has that kinda of system. Before the net, there were few methods to spread such stories, since fanfiction obviously can't be published.:smallsigh:
...Though I suppose she could have started a fanfiction writing club at the Magic Academy or something:smalltongue:

Well, that would be dependent on the author - for example, if someone were to grant permission to publish their stuff to anyone that wanted to write in a specific world, it could be.
And, if you have a silent image spell with a long enough range, combined with something to transcribe it, you coul get it distributed pretty well.

Ohh, you have no idea. There were local clubs, some around certain fandoms, some that were simply "writing" clubs in which most of what was written was fan fic. good stuff would get photocopied and mailed around, rephotocopied, and on and on. especially when the clubs were based at colleges, you could photocopy with ease, and there was a lot of cheap shipping between schools for scholastic use that got abused, making a great network for good fan fic. Someone writes something and shares it with their writing club, within a month, copies are all over the country.
Further back (ie as far back as the mid 1800's", there was lots of fan fic that would get made, and published under the phrase "pastiche". Basically, change the names and a few really really basic elements, but everyone knows who it really is. in fact, a lot of our popular characters today started as pastiche's. (especially in comics)

Re: Murphy's Law 7: ...Maybe?
Huh, I didn't know that. Thanks, Leakingpen!
Ugh, I don't think I can do a comic this week; I've got a crazy amount of work. Sorry!
