Is it just me, or has the pacing on this arc been really terrible?
I think that's at least partly due to the number of missed updates lately.
"That was for The Mummy Returns!"
I have to say, I am so unreasonably giddy how much the Mayor is just shutting Radical off with his bureaucratic authority backed by a mummy, especially now that we're beginning to learn just how much of a impatient petulant teenager Radical is.
Punching raptors, punching ghosts, punching Dracula, punching mummies... is there anything that can't be solved with punching in tis comic ?
Apparently it's a ninja mummy as well. Not that good, though.
So apparently punching mummies is pretty rad.
Those brass knuckles are holy I'm betting. Punching mummies with holy brass knuckles... yeah, I would say that's pretty rad.
Not as rad as killing ghosts by humming ghost busters though...
So, is the archives messed up for anyone else? I can't seem to navigate using the previous page buttons, and the dropdown for pages is weird too.
No I am confused a bit too. The archives keeps directing me to AWOL MD for some reason.
What in the name of sweet Dormammu is that?
It's an evil light headed skull thing wanting pizza, obviously
Or this is the new way the IRS collect taxes.
The NEW way the IRS collects taxes? :smallconfused:
Or all the radical events weaken the fabric of the reality and something wicked tries to slip in.
I think, that King Radical is making Cumberland radical to power up the portal he was sent to Earth through. With enough radical energy he might be able to go back to his homeland.
There's still a lot we don't know about King Radical. Why did he leave the Radical Land? How long has he been here?
See, I assumed he was drawing power from the Radical, and is going to use it for Evil.
There is also that Tennis secret thingy.
Doctor McNinja, the one comic where the fans can come up with a concept like "Too much radical and a portal will form to absorb Earth taking it into Radical Land" can be regarded as a rational, reasonable hypothesis.
I'm pretty sure they inhabit different universes. Dr. McNinja just came to Axe Cop's world because of that book that forces McNinja to be on the team of whoever has it.
...
I think the best part of reading Dr. McNinja is discussing its plot with utter seriousness. You say something, and 30 seconds later, you look back at what you wrote and think "My God, I actually said that."
"Yer a wizard, Derek."
So, it appears that King Radical is attempting to create a cumberland where something can occur that is rad enough to stabilize a portal back to the Radical Land.
The question is; Does King Radical want to bring things here, or send things back? Somehow, given he said Doc would have opposed it if he knew what the King was doing, I suspect the former.
Strictly speaking, it was Doc that said they would be enemies, not Radical. Depending on how you take Radical's statement, anyway. No way to tell for sure until we finally get to see what Rad's plans are.
So... King Radical is doing radical stuff to power up the portal, which is also giving some people radically magical abilities (and shutting portal down switches these abilities off) but it is also summoning some magical beings?
