Re: The Post-Kickstarter Discussion Thread: Bask in the Afterglow
Go ahead, panic!
Do it now and avoid the June rush!
...Oh wait, June is here and in fact nearly over? Never mind.

Re: The Post-Kickstarter Discussion Thread: Bask in the Afterglow
I haven't received a survey yet (Not that I recall. There is no kickstarter survery announcement about the survey in my gmail or kickstarter inbox), and I am not on the patience list and just have a couple books and nothing special added to it... should I be worried?

So please, check your reward package over there----> for the footnote about the surveys and whether you've filled yours out BEFORE messaging me.

Log in to kickstarter and go to the OotS project page. Scroll down to the reward level you selected, and look at the very bottom of the reward description area for that reward. There should be something about a survey there, either a link to take the survey or a link to view the survey response you already filled out (and apparently forgot about). If you have not already filled out the survey, I think there should also be something at the top of the whole page about it.

Re: The Post-Kickstarter Discussion Thread: Bask in the Afterglow
Turns out I did fill it out back in February. Thank you both for directing me where to look.

Re: The Post-Kickstarter Discussion Thread: Bask in the Afterglow
I have not yet received any of the books I ordered. This is a bit worrysome, since I'll be moving in a week. I thought that that would be plenty of time (since the announcement says "first week of May"), and that I wouldn't need to change my address, but I may have been mistaken. Should I be worried?

I bet 5 internets that your kindergarteners (on average) will solve the maze faster than any adults you give it to. In fact, make it a thesis.

I think all you can do is send The Giant a message on Kickstarter to change your address. See if it isn't too late to do so.

Than ANY adult? Now that's silly. They couldn't possibly be faster than I was. It's not like you said "on average" or anything. :smallwink:
Of course, I have a habit of starting from the end of mazes and finding my way to the beginning. It's a lot more obvious that way.

Re: The Post-Kickstarter Discussion Thread: Bask in the Afterglow
Got my print only special today! Defiantly helped the migraine.

Re: The Post-Kickstarter Discussion Thread: Bask in the Afterglow
Got my books and packages. My god the coloring book is great. am giving it to nephews today. wish I could order more of them. Seriously I could actually see those things marketed by themselves or at least get some PDFs of them out.

Or you could just set up mail forwarding from your old address to your new one--I think that's something you should do automatically when moving house!

Re: The Post-Kickstarter Discussion Thread: Bask in the Afterglow
I've still received no word on my $67 print only special.
*crosses fingers in the vague hope that complaining on the forums expedites the process*

Once you complain on 3 different pages the little robots Rawhide built to maintain the servers authorise your delivery. It's a test, to see how badly you want your stuff.
This is a definite fact, and not just the insane ramblings of someone very bored in work.

It is that I know who and what you are, or else I would say it are just ramblings.
But for now I think you are probably right it's the evil bots:smallbiggrin:

Re: The Post-Kickstarter Discussion Thread: Bask in the Afterglow
I may have missed something, but does anyone know the status of the Sticky Schticks? I requested the reward with the SS cards, and saw where the cards had to be given a final play test, then a typo on a printer's sample.

Re: The Post-Kickstarter Discussion Thread: Bask in the Afterglow
@ surfing. im wondering the samething as well. a small heads up on the current status for sticky schticks would be nice. even if its bad.

Don't think of it as a late birthday gift, think of it as an early Christmas present

Re: The Post-Kickstarter Discussion Thread: Bask in the Afterglow
I keep checking my email hoping to see a notification for my $68 package. No notification yet, but the Red Cross did finally succeed in guilting me into donating blood next week. :smalleek:

Re: The Post-Kickstarter Discussion Thread: Bask in the Afterglow

At this point I'm expecting the next KS update to be "SS Done, Books Printed, Started Work On the Summer Minis." Or at least two of those three things. Hell, I'd be fine with one.
-
Re: The Post-Kickstarter Discussion Thread: Bask in the Afterglow
I got my stuff this week. Yay! The package included Snips, Snails and Dragon Tales, and all the complimentary stuff.
The colouring book is great, but I'm a little that I don't have any kids around to give it to, and even if there were kids, they probably wouldn't know any English.

Re: The Post-Kickstarter Discussion Thread: Bask in the Afterglow
Just wanted to report that my SSaDT was successfully delivered while I was on vacation and USPS hasn't even lost it :) Yay!
-
Re: The Post-Kickstarter Discussion Thread: Bask in the Afterglow
Update, by the way, for those that missed it.
$67 still working on. SS sent to printers (presuming they do it right, and it's not like the pads all over again.)
Also:

I suspect he means "whether or not you're a sticky shticks package"

Re: The Post-Kickstarter Discussion Thread: Bask in the Afterglow
"progress on the giant heap of stuff" ... alternatively, "progress on the heap of giant stuff" :-)

Re: The Post-Kickstarter Discussion Thread: Bask in the Afterglow
I got a $39 reward, I think, and I'm an international customer, and I got my shipping email. Looking forward to it!

Re: The Post-Kickstarter Discussion Thread: Bask in the Afterglow
I was unemployed at the time of the Kickstarter, now that I have a job is there any way to get in on the phat loot?
(I assume I'll still be able to order the books)

There was something said about maybe it would be sold, but the digital stuff no. According to me that is.
-
Re: The Post-Kickstarter Discussion Thread: Bask in the Afterglow
When all the pledge rewards are done shipping, the books will go up on Ookoodook for regular ordering.
For all the Kickstarter-specific bonus stuff, sorry but you missed it. There is some possibility that the digital rewards that weren't labeled "exclusive" may eventually be made available through some other means, perhaps even a printed book, but at this point that is no more than speculation and in any case won't happen for a long time.
Anything that is described as "exclusive" you're just plain out of luck on - Mr. Burlew has a track record of standing by such declarations, so if he said something was exclusive to the Kickstarter then he will never make more of it to sell or give out elsewhere.
