Should we expect some notification, or will we just find one day, to our happy surprise, that custom table codes work again?
Re: Upcoming TABLE Code Changes
I would also point out that this fix is the board equivalent of fixing a car's hazard lights, but making it so you have to hot-wire the car every time you want to use it.

No. The fix is equivalent to a roadside mechanic fixing a car so that the engine will no longer blow up, but limiting the speed in the process, allowing you to hobble to a workshop.

Comments like this make me curious about what issue(s) was addressed by the underlying fix.
Re: Upcoming TABLE Code Changes
Same here. A new software upgrade should be more stable:smallfurious:.

:smallconfused: I know it's easy to underestimate/overestimate the impact of this bug side effect compared to whatever the fix was, since I don't know what that fix was for or what applying the fix entailed, but...I really don't see how a display issue could constitute "instability".

1) It's not a software upgrade, it's a hotfix.
2) It is more stable, much more stable.
Re: Upcoming TABLE Code Changes
This is hopefully resolved now.

dunno if rawhide saw this but i thought i'd repost it in case as it was during that one class-A bug.

We have the classes to a more than satisfactory level. It is not likely that we will be touching these for a long while.

You need to use [th] instead of [td] in that first row; that's how it knows which cells are header cells.

Thanks, that worked.

I can't post links yet because I have a low postcount (lurker). But here are some threads I've found that I'd like to see fixed:
