Re: Gravity Falls: An Irregular Show
Just saw the best episode in 720p, I couldn't resist making this.

Re: Gravity Falls: An Irregular Show
Fight Fighters was basically awesome. Parodies of old videogames done well, guys! Woooo!
New episode trailer, man. SO OMINOUS. So very ominous indeed.

Re: Gravity Falls: An Irregular Show
Episode Tens cryptogram is the best so far:
Spoiler
Show
SORRY, DIPPER, BUT YOUR WENDY IS IN ANOTHER CASTLE.

Re: Gravity Falls: An Irregular Show
Man, I loved the video game episode, but it should have had some modern VG references, like Team Fortress 2.:smallwink:
Dipper could be the Scout, Mable could be the Pyro, Soos could be the Heavy, and Gruncle Stan could be the Spy. Think of the potential!:smalltongue:

I'm seeing Dipper as an engineer, personally. Manly Dan could be the heavy, if we're allowing non-main characters. Wendy is totes the Sniper, though.

But Manly Dan is a secondary character, and Dipper as the engineer isn't nearly as hilarious.

Well, I mentioned if we're allowing secondary characters. How else are we supposed to get the full nine classes?
Blendin Blandon may be better suited for an Engineer, actually. 'Dunno. But Manly Dan is probs best Heavy. Soos could be the Demoman!

Re: Gravity Falls: An Irregular Show
Thank you thread. You introduced me to the show, which I watched all 10 episodes of in two days.
IT
IS
AWESOME
And it has super-catchy intro music. I love that intro.
The screenshot of the document mentioned the time-baby. Which then appeared in the future in the time-travel episode.
Can't wait for the next episode.

Re: Gravity Falls: An Irregular Show
HA HA HA! This thread makes my shoulders bounce!
I haven't seen all of the episodes, but I've generally liked what I've seen.

I still see Soos as the Heavy: he has a similar build, in terms of facial features, I'd say he looks more alike, and I see Soos going the most crazy over a sandvich. Manly Dan I think would be better as the Soldier.
And speaking of Blandon, he needs to come back just so he can scream the word "UNACCEPTABLE!" and then throw someone in a dungeon for a million years. And then Manly Dan can turn into a magic dog and/or drunken robot.:smallwink:
Also, how many episodes can they get out of this show? I mean, Mable and Dipper are just there for the summer right? How many adventures can they go on in one summer? Or maybe I'm just over thinking this. Animated characters rarely seem to age or experience linear time. Look at how long Bart Simpson's been in the 4th grade.

Apperently, the first two seasons are planned to last one summer. After that....

What? What happens? Are they moving to Gravity Falls or is the show ending? Do we switch protagonists? What?
-
Re: Gravity Falls: An Irregular Show
They come back the next summer, probably. Or they move there. I dont know.

Next summer? Like a time leap forward? So the kids will be old right? Will Dipper be sporting an awesome mustache?

Yeah, but the Heavy is tough, and Soos isn't tough. He's a gigantic marshmallow. And is Blandon played by the same dude who played Lemongrab?
Also, anyone else have ideas about who fits where?

You mean that one show with the two kids with horribly misshapen heads - one's a triangle and the other's an elongated rectangle with a square nose.

All cartoon characters have horribly mishappened heads! Just look at them in proportion to their bodies. Freakishly huge.

Yeah, but they at least resemble something that looks like the basic concept of a human skull. These kids have a TRIANGLE and an ELONGATED RECTANGLE for a head. Are they mutants or something? Because if they are that'd be pretty cool. They could go fight crime in a world that hates and fears them.

By that logic, Finn is a noseless mutant.:smalltongue:

Hate to bump this thread (I crack myself up sometimes!), but just thought the halloween episode was fantastic. Also, meet my new ringtone.

Re: Gravity Falls: An Irregular Show
YAY! BMO returns! And Soos ate the monster from Spirited Away.

Re: Gravity Falls: An Irregular Show
Summerween was pretty much great. So was Little Dipper. So cool...

Re: Gravity Falls: An Irregular Show
Was that one kid that was dressed as a dummy voiced by the same guy who did Aang in Avatar? I know he only had like 4 lines, but that kid sounded just like Aang.

Re: Gravity Falls: An Irregular Show
No new episodes until November is like, the worst. ;_;
