Well, as long as they don't have any sandworms, he should be able to get a swing or two in. I dunno if their psykers, but I recall the Tire Geal had a Tau-like effect where psychic or magic dimension stuff had a hard time realizing that they're there.

I suspect things that can eat the building the fight is in are not considered acceptable, so no, no sandworms.
And these three are not psykers, no. But yeah, he can probably do something to them in any case.

Well, Lamill's in the Blood Pit now, with a monokukri, a handcannon, and his prosthetics and gills and gecko hand-pads and whatnot. And he has no clue what's going on other than he's now in an arena with a pair of weapons.

Wait wut? Harnel went on a quest to increase his wife's boob size?

Would there be anything preventing Vsal's bioscanner from determining his physical capabilities and weak points?

Re: [Nexus] OoC 34: If it exists, we have role-played it. No exceptions.
No, it'll pick up just fine. There are no glaring weakpoints in the Tire Geal beyond what a normal human might have (weaker bones around the joints, susceptible to head injuries), and most of those are shored up. Phil and Rael made them to be warriors, after all.
Lamill does have redundant hearts, livers, and fluid and air passageways, and his right arm has a toroid spring force multiplier and a hidden needle full of nastiness in it, though, if the detector picks up that sort of stuff.
Oh, and the Tire Geal produce more adrenaline than humans, if I recall. And see polarization of light.

Deadtime now. Goodnight, sleep tight and don't let the Wolpertinger bite.

Nope! This whole character is mostly a Baman Piderman reference anyway, not enough room for more.

Re: [Nexus] OoC 34: If it exists, we have role-played it. No exceptions.
Really?
There's a whole storyline called "All The World Is Wonderful When You're An Idiot."

*pokes C'nor to Harnel's*

So, C'nor, how do you want this arena thing to play out?

I'm fine with either side winning. But I do kind of need to have all the people on both sides there before I post, so... :smalltongue:

Re: [Nexus] OoC 34: If it exists, we have role-played it. No exceptions.
Ah. So Lamill will have aid, then?

Re: [Nexus] OoC 34: If it exists, we have role-played it. No exceptions.
Wow, what an exciting day today was! Completely the opposite of last week.
It started out with Orchestra, sightreading Handel's Messiah. Then, I had a language test, which I pretty much aced. After that, I practiced fencing. I learned the basics of the sabre! Then, I had my first official match with someone, on the epée. Of course, he won because he's been doing this for years, but I kept the scores pretty tied for the first half of the match.
He said that I had a distinct sabre style. (I also fought left handed, because the burn on my right hand isn't completely healed.)
Then, I designed a CAD model of a part. After that, studying for my math test! I'm not quite finished with that part yet. (Laplace Transforms and Power Series ODE, whohoo!)
And, now that I finally have time, I have a million and a half posts to respond to. I just want to apologize to everyone who was kept waiting for me because of my business.
Also, if there's anyone who I forget, just *poke* me. Or, alternatively, scream my head off.

Don't expect much out of me today. My stomach feels like garbage. I need to find somebody to cover my shift at work so I can go home and sleep.

Uh, Mindfreak? How is anyone supposed to interact with someone trapped in an underground cavern way beneath Inside with no stated method of getting there?

...magic? :smallconfused:
EDIT: Or science.
Or we could just say that the Cave of Being is accessible to those curiosity exceeds their common sense?
Take your pic :smalltongue:

So, obliviom, zefir, are you guys the ones on Lamill's team in the blood pits?

Yup. I should probably post there, now that I think about it. :smalltongue:

Yeah, it'd prolly be good for Lamill to know who NOT to shoot.

The Cave of Being
Deep beneath Inside, in a cavern unknown to the minds of men, there is the never-ending scream of agony and rage that makes even the rock peel away from the overwhelming hatred.
For you see, there's a humanoid form down there.
Its arms and legs where wrapped in chains and held away from its body, preventing it from escaping, while its body was covered in blood from it trying to work free of the chains that binds it.
It continues to try to pull down the chains, not succeeding and sending ripples through the earth. Which might explain the slight rumble citizens of Inside might feel.
((Interaction, anyone? Though this situation might seem a little...bad. But the being trapped here won't go off and destroy, say, Inside >>
And anyone can get to the Cave of Being. There's hidden passageways to it all over Inside))
So...um...
Interaction please?

Sure. A guitar/electric violin combo would be pretty cool.
