"Reinholdt" examines the portals, apparently unfazed by the rotting gremlins. He decides to socialize a little before he enters one, however, and walks around looking for someone to talk to.

"I'm Kayla. Thanks, I love haunted houses and stuff like that, but hate doing them alone."
Judging from the creepy gord headed childeren shrivling up these portals could very well lead to some creepy places.

Re: [NEXUS] MaGLoG II: Alcoholic Boogaloo
Entrance
Vinny frowned a bit beneath his scraggly facial hair as he looked over all the people there. I'm supposed to find Elaine in this mess? He thinks to himself before sighing and moving along to mingle and look for her. If she sees him, she'll find that he's dressed quite differently than normal. Instead of his standard suit and fedora, he's dressed in fur hides, a scraggly beard, and has a battleaxe on his back. He'd looked up a few things and it turns out Vikings didn't have those funny horned hats.
The next figure in the door is a woman who is most likely slightly shorter than most people in the room, about five and a half feet in height and of a slightly unathletic appearing build. She's somewhat beautiful, but many people would likely be put off by her extremely pale complexion and the scars that seem to criss-cross over her entire body. Even so, Trisha smiles happily as she holds the door open for her companion. Trisha came dressed as something a bit riskier than she'd normally consider, but it was a special occasion.
Her dress seemed to hug her thighs and hips, leaving her abdomen and back exposed as it crept up her sides to meet again across her chest and neck. The material appears to be multiple layers of autumn color silk set to look like leaves. Her only other adornment is a small rose tied into the long braid of white hair she keeps about waist long. She lacks shoes, but she doesn't seem to care in the slightest.

HN - Kate and Minty
Mintbalm puts a finger to her chin, pondering it, It's gotta be the darkened way one or the creeping horror one, or maybe both. Strange delights could be food I guess, but since there's already food laid out on the tables over there, it's probably something weirder than that. Wanna try one to see? Probably not the den of doom though, that's the one those things were chanting about, right?"

She's hoping to find someone giving a seance, if that's available.

There is what looks to be a man in a long, frayed grey cloak at a nearby table for Elaine to spy. He has a crystal ball set before him, black candles bubbling to either side, and various tools of the forecasting trade arrayed around him on the table. Bone dice, scratched wooden tablets, and an old, weathered tea set, but no tarot cards.

An angel with a swan-shaped half-mask and obviously fake wings strapped to her back walks up to "Reinholdt" from behind, trying to encircle him with her arms and whisper in his ear, "You know, that's not a very good Butler costume. He only wears shorts."

"That there is... well, let's try simple pleasures. That should be simple enough to start with." It's also more likely to be psychological horror than gore horror or jump horror. Kate's never liked cheap scares, either by gore or pure surprise.

What? Oh hell, I had forgotten about the catboy butler. I was going for the apocakitty's human form, but thought that the ears and tail would make a better costume... The person who unsurprisingly sounds like Toby (or Tobias; it really is hard to tell) tries to turn around to look at his hugger. And you are...?

Re: [NEXUS] MaGLoG II: Alcoholic Boogaloo
Entrance
Trisha's companion makes a somewhat dramatic entrance as she almost trips over the flounce of the long violet dress she's now wearing. The dark-skinned elf grinds her teeth together in an expression of annoyance as she pulls up the skirt of the dress to avoid tripping over it again.
If not for the fact she nearly fell over, the heftily build woman is clearly not someone you usually find dressed in such a way. Her white pupil-less eyes making a quick surveillance of the room with a stern expression, as if challenging anyone daring to laugh at her perceived clumsiness. Quickly collecting herself however, her expression softens out as she looks at Trisha. Turning her from a roughened warrior to a nervous schoolgirl in the blink of an eye. "So here we are." She mumbles quietly, probably not even realizing what she's saying is rather hard to hear or the fact she's still standing right at the entrance, inviting anyone entering to walk right into her.

"Sure, that's as good a place to start as any, right?" Mintbalm heads for the door, her grig costume clattering along behind her as she goes. She stops at the door, hesitating, and then carefully turns around to Kate.
"Should we go together, or one after the other?"
Halloween Night
The woman laughs, the sound coming from her lips reminiscent of softly breaking glass and tingling bells, "If I wanted you to know, I wouldn't be wearing a mask. Still, I suppose if you're in a very bad Butler costume, then that would make me a very bad Decker." His hugger is wearing a long silken white dress adorned with white feathers where appropriate, and her long golden hair hangs loose over one shoulder as she grins at him.

[Nightmare Night Halloween Night]
Enter Amil!
As is oft the case Amil has defaulted toward her human appearance. Though as usual her nose and mouth look off... But not to worry! This night she has decided to turn that weakness into a strength! With liberal application of face-paint she's added a wide Cheshire Cat grin over her mouth in addition to a few purplish pink highlights and whiskers. On her head she wears a pair of obviously fake cat ears and her dress is predominated by pink and purple stripes.
Not bad!
The jeanstealer hasn't been to the casino since that ill-fated lunch with Eric what seemed like... wow... ages ago now. But that's no reason not to have some fun, right? Get out and live a little! Because keeping to her apartment makes for a pretty boring existence.
She begins to wander through the crowd in search of anyone she knows.

Kynegetis, Aspect of Angela the Huntress, arrives here with Carrie. She is dressed like Civiron, HALO's Goddess of Hope. Which means that the normally dark-clad assassin is in a pink dress and pink wig and is actually wearing makeup. She's probably going to get confused for a Disney princess, but whatever.

Ivaz
Ivaz watches all the people coming in, judging all of their costumes. Obviously, she thought hers was the best. But, she did enjoy the sight of some of the others.
Krystal
Krystal took in the room around her, liking the theme and decor. Before coming here, she thought her costume might have been a little too much. However, she doesn't feel that way any more. Now she just wonders how many people know who she's supposed to be.
Alysha
The vampire is positively giddy with excitement. She liked parties and costumes, so a costume party was right up her alley. She wore a huge grin on her face as she took in all the other costumes, trying to guess them all. And see if she knew anybody. That was important, too.

Halloween Night
Crissy happens to still be close to Dorota, needless to say, and frowns as she eyes the Mysterious Portals.
Meanwhile, the next to enter is a rather tall and curvaceous half-drowess. Her white hair touseled to fan out, and her gray skin enclosed in a skin-tight, and significantly skin-baring, and rather pink ensemble. Sweeping back in a collar behind her head, coming around in a collar then baring her front from the neck to the waist, wrapping around from the sides barely enough to avoid indecency. It extends down the arms into full-length gloves; the hips are distinctly daringly cut, and a pair of tight thigh-high boots in a matching shade of brilliant, deep pink complete the ensemble.
And Amist, dressed as a member of the Star Sapphire Corps, looks around with distinct interest.

HN - Fortune Teller
The teller nods, drawing a slow, rasping breath in preparation to speak while he reaches over to the bones with a frail hand, "We do, but speaking with those in the land of the living comes at a cost to the dead that few would pay. Much better to wander further into the mists and seek your lost one there than to tear them from where they belong."

Simple Pleasures
Sophie wanders in through the door while Kate and Mintbalm are discussing it, and Mintbalm peers after the Hunter before shrugging, "I was thinking side by side. Let's go now anyway, before I chicken out." Mintbalm heads in, presumably followed by Kate.
On the other side, the door they entered is entirely gone, and all three of them appear to be in the middle of a leaf-blown street after dark, lined with similar houses that all have decorations out on their lawns. The wind blows coldly through their costumes which should alert them to a rather distressing change.
Namely, all three of them seem to have regressed in age to anywhere from eight to twelve, and their costumes have changed accordingly. Although Sophie is still a vampire, her false fangs are clumsily glued in place over a set of braces, and Mintbalm is dressed simply as a Spider, with the legs sticking out of a bulbous body that sits on her torso instead of dragging behind her. Kate's costume was changed to that of a china doll in a pale pink foofy dress.
In their hands rest three hollow plastic pumpkin baskets, and around their wrists are lit glowstick armbands. There's an entire street leading up hill for them and only them, and it's the end of the night, when everyone just wants to dump the rest of their candy and go to sleep.

Halloween Night
"It's a pleasure to have you here, apocakitty. Can we share this dance?" As she speaks a hollow tapping begins as some of the skeletons hanging from the walls in chains begin beating their arms against their ribs rhythmically, and gradually a low, haunting howl chimes in. It's almost music, if it weren't for the lack of any real theme tying it together.
Not-Decker blushes, looking at her feet, "I mean, since we are here arm in arm, I figured it was appropriate to ask, right?" She stammers uncertainly, nervous all of a sudden.

Hey look, it's that one person that Amil/Carrie/Vampire Lady knows standing over there in the middle of the room! What an odd and extremely not expected coincidence! Why, if you'd just walk over there to where she can see them better, I'm sure that they would notice you and say hello and not fade away like a mysterious haunting mist, only for you to realize that said acquaintance died of mysterious circumstances years ago. Because that would be a terrible thing for a friend you haven't seen in years to do.
Hey look, they've looked over here and waved, possibly in your direction! Or maybe it's at that person standing behind you and off to your left. Still, now's your chance!

Ilpholin's starting to think this whole thing is a bust. And bringing other people in to wish for her seems to defeat the point. Though maybe she could grab some innocent kid off the street and spin some sob story about wanting to go home and get them to wish for her.
Or maybe this was a stupid idea in the first place. She turns to start heading out.

A person arrives, a little late. What appears to be a she (though at a distance could be mistaken for a he) is wearing a short and spiky wig, black combat boots, a gray tank-top, black pants, and a heavy, red, military-style greatcoat. She also seems to have a an abnormally large blaster pistol that looks real enough, though is fake.
Granted, seeing as how this person is smiling, it's also pretty clear it's not who you think it is. Still, the costume itself is remarkably well-done.

Ivaz's attention is caught by the combination of white and pink and dark that just walked through the door. She admires the sight for a moment, then nudges Talia with her elbow.
Hey. Got someone you should meet. She'll guide Talia over to the new arrival with a sly grin.
Hey there, hot stuff. Seem we thought of something similar, eh?
Krystal
Krystal wanders over by the doors and reads them, trying to think of what they might hold. Curiosity takes her, and she walks into the one labeled "Strange Delights".
Alysha
Hey! It's that person!
Alysha will wave back with much excitement, and quickly walk over to say hi. And talk at length. Boy, can she talk.
If Amil happens to walk up as well, Alysha will happily introduce herself.
