Get it from the bossss.... Its the only way I can help you out of here.
Valance glances down at the hooded man and slits his throat before looking up at the knight and saying "If you died now you wouldn't be of any use to your king. And while I don't think your death was likely it was possible, so I remedied the situation."
SpoilerCoup de Grace on the hooded man
[roll]1d4+6[/roll]
Once the hooded man is dealt with Valance says "Drag the corpses over here." as he walks over to the dead women and proceeds to strip her and search her goods.
"Boss not here! not here! he's out there. hes the biggest, meanest and strongest of us! let me go, please." the kobold begs
EVERYTHING!?Quote:
Valance glances over the battlefield and says "Good work, now drag the corpse's over here" as he heads back to the women he killed first and begins to search her corpse and strip it of everything.

okay... uh... you get a new red cloak. some leather boots. a leather corset. a curved dagger that is nearly black and stink of evil and alot of material components. during your search you find two horns growing on her head.
Watching as the arrow pierced the hobgoblin's eye, Davhid grinned a little to himself. A shot like that could win me about 15 gold at the fair... Davhid then notched another arrow and searched for a target to shoot at. Seeing only the hooded...Man? In a one-on-one fight with Falwell, Davhid didn't know whether to shoot or not. Falwell was a knight, they had a 'thing' with using bows in the first place, Davhid didn't really want to know what would happen if he killed Falwell's opponent with a bow.
Davhid knew there was supposed to be a kobold somewhere in the fight, and Dresil had apparently vanished somewhere Damn thought Davhid again, as he realised he couldn't go into the ruin because he couldn't see in the dark.
If your bosss has it, then fine. The only way you can avoid the knightss is if you drop all of your equipment here, then lie down on the ground. I promisse that nothing bad will happen to you.
Davhid searches the bodies of the goblin and hobgoblin.
Valance glances at the goods and cuts a strip off the cloak before wrapping the womens dagger in it and putting it in his pack. He then cleans the blood from his blades on the cloak and heads over to the goblin and searches him as well.
"equipment? all i have is what i wear, and its way to small for you..." the kobold yelps.
the goblin have a morningstar, a specially crafted brigandine and a holy symbol of some goblin deity. nothing to care about...
the hobgoblin have a full plate, heavy steel sheild and what appears to be a masterwork longsword. maybe with a hint of magic?
Fine then. Hold out your arms. I will imbue you with the ability to leave this place alive.
SpoilerWhat's the holy symbol made out of?
Davhid, having seen Valance wrap a dagger in cloth, Davhid makes sure his gloves are in place and picks up the sword.
"why hold out arms? you chop off? like they with theifs?" the kobold yelps and throw itself at Dresil's feet "PLEASE! Knark needs hands! So sorry for stabbing you! only following orders!"
the holy symbol is made out of ebony.
the sword explodes in his face.
NOT!
HAHA!
Falwell look at the scene with grim dignity...
"hmf..." he says.
Valance cuts another (unbloodied) strip from the cloak and wraps the symbol in it before dropping it in his pack as well and heading over to the hooded man and searching him.
As the explosion goes off Valance glances up and says to Davhid "You ok?"
Assuming the kobolds arms are splayed out in a 'I'm not worthy' pose, Dresil will get out his manacles and clap them onto the kobold. Since they are made for Medium creatures, I would think around the wrists would not work, but perhaps around the upper arms would suffice?
"if it is the staff you're looking for is it on the inside of my coat..." The hooded man groans. "gimme one of the potions i have in my belt... i cant move and i am no threat to you anymore."
the kobold is imprisoned.
the explosion was not dangerous. just smoke and sound.
SpoilerSo, it didn't 'explode' at all, just vanished in a puff of smoke?
Dresil will heft the kobold up to his face, then dismiss the invisibility.
Alright, listen to me, and listen good you little demon spit! You will tell me everything you found inside this cave, and where you were supposed to go afterward. If you don't, I assure you the Knights of Erwind will be the LEAST of your worries!

Valance glances down at the man and says "Do I have to stab you again? You really should be dead. As for giving you a potion, maybe later. After I have you properly secured."
Valance then strips the hooded man naked and pulls out two pair's of manacles and uses them to attach the mans left hand to his right foot and his right hand to his left foot (going behind his back).
Then after putting the mans stuff off to the side he says "Now why do you want the potion and what will it do?"
Davhid gently took hold of the sword, when sparks flew out of the sword. On reflex however, Davhid's hands only seized up and held the hilt tighter, not letting go. Davhid, having realised that the surprise was over, and nothing too untoward had happened yet, Davhid takes the scabbard of the sword from the hobgoblin on the ground, and puts the sword back in it's place.
Davhid turns to Valance "Yeah, I'm okay. Possibly some strange effect or ward to keep it from being stolen by theives or pickpockets?"
Davhid follows Valance over to the man. Wondering at the same time, where Dresil had got to.
the kobold gnaw at his claws in frustration "lots of traps...lots of guards... a staff in a golden casket. thats all!thats all! no treasure, no magic. only traps and guards!"
hood guy:
"why the hell do you THINK i want the potion!? im bleeding like hell here and very much like not to! its a perfectly normal healing potion. geez" the now un-hooded man growls. he have several scars, both minor and great, and the stare of a devil. He have obviously not shaven in a couple of days and his dirty-red hair looks darg with grime and dried blood.
"the worst thing is that this isnt the first time im stripped by a elf. but in this case i doubt its because of my manly body. oh gods, PLEASE! let it NOT be because of my body!"
EDIT: Davhid puts the sword in the scabbard, and walks off with the sword.
Also would like to point out Dresil is walking back toward the front of the cave.
"It's okay. I've got my own healing potions on my horse. Will it do if you have one of those? We'll just keep your potions away from you." Davhid then turns to Valance. "Eh?"
"please, Valance. leave the man some DIGNITY! you didnt have to take ALL his clothes!" Falwell says mildly annoyed.
Valance smiles at the guy and says to Davhid, without looking away from the naked man "Probable. Search his stuff and let me know what you find."
He then pulls out a bandage and slaps it onto the man. "That will stabilize you and keep you from getting worse. And no, I don't care about your body. Start talking, everything from when you were first given your mission on."
In answer to Davhid's question he says "No, don't waste the potion. Odd's are I will end up killing him when I'm finished questioning him anyways, and it would waste the potion."
Looking at the night he says "I've had clothes with enough concealed weapons and items in them to outfit a small army, I have no idea what spells his clothes may have on them. Why don't you go check on Dresil and make sure the Kobold hasn't killed him."
SpoilerUsing a Blessed Bandage on him, auto stabilizes him.
Dresil dismisses the Alter Self spell, and rejoins his compatriots. Noticing the naked, bonded man he looks to Valance, then Dahvid. He (EDIT: RAISES) an eyebrow.
Did I miss something? I thought you would have waited to start the party with me!
Tossing the kobold to the ground, he then takes out his rope and begins to tie the lizard's hands and feet together. (Taking 20, 24 total) As he does so, he begins to speak.
This one tells me there was little else in the ruins, mostly traps and guards. The artifact we are looking for is a staff in the ugly one's possesion.
He says this pointing the the 'leader'.
"It all started back in my own country. i AM a infamous bounty hunter y'know. And i got this huge contract on a guy. so i followed him for WEEKS! i finally ended up in this backwater country were everything was at chaos because of the civil war. well, i found him and killed him!" the man growls "but dont cha' think i lacked the money to get back home... so i signed up for some minor mission for some warlord or whatever... and now im here!" He stares at Valance with obvious hate.
"WHO YOU CALL UGLY, BRAT!?" he shouts at Dresil for his comment
