If the vampire is curly, let’s call the original Rugby.

That's a mode of transportation, not a mean. And I doubt she'll stay out of the median.

It’s the Internet. My odds are pretty good.
Please remember to bring a barf bag when you watch Ep.9, just in case, because...

Dubious. Durkula didn't research Protection from Sunlight and the staff was broken. While the other priests can't attack her, the building will eventually be returned to the mountain as Gontor (the living) suggested. As they all just witnessed what transpired, the priests can simply opt to do that when it's daytime. It's not an attack to carry out normal moot business in the absence of the administrators. The high priests are not responsible if a vampire chose to attend something where there would be an abundance of sunlight and did not prepare any spells for it.

Ross (playing Hilgya): Pshhyeah, of course I brought Ben into battle. When else am I going to see him? What, you think I should just take Ben back to Carol?
Monica (playing Roy): Durkon.
Ross: Durkon, that’s what I said. Besides, look how cute he is!
Chandler (playing Vaarsuvius): Yes, he’s like a little breastplate with a functioning nervous system.
Phoebe (as Elan): And little arms and legs!
Ross: He’s got little bootsies. See?
Chandler: Oh, good. Because that’ll stop a vampire worshiper of a enraged goddess of death.
Joey (playing Belkar): I bet it’s cut right through the little guy. No offense, but he don’t look too sturdy.
Rachel (playing Haley): You know you, uh ... you could have left him with your husband.
Ross: He’s not my husband. WE WERE ON A BREAK!
Chandler: Could Ben be in any more danger?

Looking at the comic again I noticed Misty/Curly escaping as Not Not Thad enters.
The level of detail in this stick figure comic is amazing, and it keeps getting better.

They've had over a day. Macey likely has Word of Recall up. And even if she doesn't have the levels for it, Hel probably still gave it to her.

Fronty is a newly born vampire who has spent their entire life at the godsmoot. They don’t have a safe place on the material plans to recall to.

I was intentionally pretty careful with my phrasing. I didn’t say the strip proved Roy was a righty, I just noted it did not provide evidence he was left handed as his motions were all consistent with what you would expect a right handed swordsman to be doing.

All she needs is a cave. Say, one that the Creed knew about before they were all slaughtered.

Word of recall must return them to a very familiar place.
Fronty has literally never been to anywhere in their entire life (err... unlife) but the godsmoot.
Im not saying fronty is going to die (err.. undie). There are probably lots of ways fronty can survive. I’m just saying that fronty probably won’t survive with a word of recall.

I’d say he’s ambidextrous, though leaning right handed (here’s an abridged list of times I find him using the sword that show a certain handedness.
Right:1,10,11,13,15,16,1100, 1102, 1103, 1105, 1118, 1122, 1123, 1126, 1175
Left:1127, 1128, 1163,1165
Ambidextrous: 1104, 1160

Sounds like an unnecessary stretch; her host is probably very familiar with multiple places that have roofs, and there's that whole "absorbing memories from their host" thing vampires do.

Her host however was.
All she has to do is absorbing the right memories.

Are you saying that using wind walk, she can't get there(Kraggor's Gate) from here(Firmament)?
-
Re: OOTS #1175 - The Discussion Thread
Yeah. Primary point for a cave instead of a structure is that the vampire rules are in play. She can't pop in to some place warded against undead (like most temples), and she can't enter a home unless invited.
-
Re: OOTS #1175 - The Discussion Thread
Well, I believe Macey McFront will probably survive (unsurvive?) this. The clerics won't probably attack her due to the godsmoot truce, and, after, I don't think she really needs Word of Recall. She can use magic, like 3rd level Stone Shape, with which she's certainly familiar, to provide a place to stay during the day, and then can thus travel by night, albeit slowly, depending on her level and spell capabilities.

Hm. I guess a cave fashioned into a room would have a ceiling, not a roof....

Theoretically possible but incredibly stupid. Especially since roughly half of the attendance was willing to protect the vampires. What would any High Priest gain from her immediate death? If they are so afraid of Hel getting a church then they can call a Holy War on her as soon as business as usual begins again and before she’s had time to build a powerbase. She’s literally just the one lady.

Even if there isn't some sort of diplomatic immunity covering High Priests on their way to and from a moot, remember that more than half the gods are not of the Good variety and would see protecting the vampire as an opportunity to score some serious points with a strong potential ally. Even some of the Good high priests might see themselves as obligated to offer shade and sustenance to the frontarch just so that next time there's a moot, nobody can argue "The moot is not responsible for the army of bloodthirsty vampires waiting patiently for night to fall after the moot ends."
In other news, the disenfranchisement and dismemberment of the Vampire Party proceeds apace!

Thanks for the explanation, I've seen doylist/watsonian used in the forums often but never really cared enough to find out what they meant (for some reason I thought Doylism was a political/philosophical viewpoint).
And I was being facetious about his typo; he said 'Thank your Mr. Doyle', and I would thank my Mr. Doyle, but I wasn't aware I had one.
Explaining in reply to an explanation of a topic I didn't understand but was comfortable making snarky jokes about: truly Forums in their purest form.
