Evan nods.
That's me. Now what is this Temple Guardian exactly?

Evan nods.
That's me. Now what is this Temple Guardian exactly?
[Abandoned Temple]
"The guardian is a giant, about three times our size, golem that's in the third basement floor. I attacked it with fire and energy based attacks but that isn't working. I punched it too but my punch doesn't have the power of that-" He points to the biggest gun on Evan "you have have on your back. That's all I know. Anyway I'm Surt, you?"
My name is Evan.
He says as he offers Surt his hand to shake.
[Abandoned Temple]
Surt Shakes his hand. "Let's go Evan." Surt then enters the temple. Inside the temple is an altar on the other side. Behind are stairs leading down. The formation is such that it suggests that there was a wall behind that altar and the stairs were once a secret passage. Surt goes down to the first basement floor.
Evan looks around at the temple, rather impressed as he moves down to the first basement floor as well.
[Abandoned Temple]
Down on that floor the room is pitch black. That's bad news in a place like this where one wrong step could kill you. "I guess I have no choice." Surt's body light up lighting the area up to ten feet in each direction. This however seems to have woken the inhabitants. Man-eater plants come out of their slumbering places. There are ten of them approaching.
Evan reacts as fast as lightning, he draws Hella, the smallest of his rifles and will fire one frighteningly precise shot at five of the plants, hitting them in the largest spot on each plant.
[Abandoned Temple]
The plants are hit with the bullets but are still alive, though with the body blasted not for long. Surt uses the orbs on his hands to flamethrower two plants. Fire seems quite effective as the two he hit shrivel and die. The three however are on him and wrap vines on all his limbs. The five that were shot use the last of their strength to shoot some type of corrosive acid in Evan's general direction.
Evan dives beneath the spray of acid while at the same time replacing the ammo in Hella with incendiary rounds that he promptly uses to blast one of the plants off of Surt before turning and finishing off the ones that he had shot earlier.
The speed of guns, quite deadly. Only the two on Surt live. Surt's body light aflame and burns the other two. This makes all ten dead. The action however seens to have woken the others, thrice the number arrive from the darkness.
He aims the flame in the mass of plants. "Shoot my fire!"
Evan quickly fires a single round into the middle of Surt's fire.
[Temple of Splendours]
Shrike grins, applauding as Tina dives into the syrup!
And appreciating the view, too...
...she then gets kicked into the pool.
SPLOOSH.
*indignant spluttering*
[Outside Trog's]
Gird shrugs and throws another spear, completely missing the crates. He roars in frustration and throws his longspear, hitting exactly where Krystal's crystal hit.
Despite the widespread disease, there does not appear to be any real steps against it. No quarantine, no help from the churches... the streets appear to be clear, though; no one much is moving around.
There is a clinic in the affected area, and it appears to be open.
Ponona Blvd
At the desk, a hovering robot waves as the pair enters. It has two spindly arms, a round head and one blue eye. It's rather short, about three feet tall, but it's hovering a few feet off of the floor.
"Hello! I'm sorry, but most of the clinic's employees are sick. I'll do my best to help you in any way, though!"
It stops for a moment.
"Oh, are you here to help with the plague?"
[Lefty's]
"Now, I'm not sure you should follow me inside but there is an alarm here I first need to disable. Then we are pretty much able to take her by surprise." The sorceress declares to the dryad once she managed to get off the clingy Naiad from her.
As Harnel given me the power to godmode the alarm, she will disarm it and head inside the portal unless Sakura decides to stop her.
[Lefty's]
"No, you're right, I won't follow you." Sakura knows she'd just get in the way, and besides, she has to be careful with the new baby coming. "Just be careful. If you take too long I'll call for help, alright?"
Outside Trog's
Gird grins and jogs down, picking up his spears. He runs backwards and throws the spears, one hitting each crate. He then bows and motions towards the crates.
[Outside Trog's]
Krystal grins back, bringing both arms in front of her and producing a spike from both wrists.
She throws each one in quick succession, landing both within inches of Gird's spears.
That increases the output of the flame, spreading it to the rest of the plant creatures. That Takes care of them. Surt reverts to a simple shining form that lights the way in place of the burning form.
"Huh, You have elemental shots? Or just the incendiary rounds? I think the guardian may be weak to wind or Ice since energy and fire didn't work."
I have something special in mind for him.
Evan says with a smirk.
[Abandoned Temple]
"Is that so, I hope he crumbles in joy. Anyway we still have a floor before we reach it, let's go." Surt goes down to the next basement level. The place is the same as the previous floor so Surt continues his role as a light source. He reaches the middle of the room without being attacked. "Nothing attacked, but I'm sure there were monsters here too...?"
Evan puts Hella away and draws Fenris, his second largest rifle, loads it and then points it towards the door.
Once nothing comes Evan takes a small rubber ball from his pocket, still holding up the rifle and lobs the ball towards the door in an attempt to trigger any traps along the way.
[Outside Trog's]
Gird lets out a booming laugh and walks back half-way between Krystal and the crates. He takes his club and holds it out like a baseball club. He taps the head of the club Hit here
[Abandoned Temple]
Nothing happens. There is no trap that activates, besides if there was a trap then Surt would have activated it on his first trip down alone. Yet somehow something still feels fishy. "Anyway lets go, if there's nothing here then." Surt heads down still pondering.
Tina wriggles her way through the goop, slipping up on the side of the pool and propping her elbows there. She blinks innocently at Kal, saying, "Aw, honey, feeling left out?" She tilts her head a little, smirking. "Why don't you hop in?"
Though her hair's still slick with the stuff, the syrup on Tina seems to have trouble sticking. It slides right off in many cases, temporarily coloring her skin an even darker, golden brown.

Evan nods and then moves to cover Surt's back as they move forward.
