I wonder if this is going to be relevant somehow or if it's just trivia. I think the second, because we know Cole is not dressed up like Grem, we saw him order the archers to fire. Still cool to know.Quote:

Unless Cole has been impersonating Grem since before they entered the dungeon and they used some sort of magic to switch their tattoo rank markings, I don't see how that is possible. Cole appears to be the one who ordered the Vipers to shoot at Biscuit before he cut his leg off since that goblin the same green lines on his chest and stomach.
Grem! Noooooo :(
Knuckle-walking makes me think of gorillas (and certainly Biscuit weighs around the proverbial four hundred pounds). I would be very interested in seeing a one-legged dog running; I assume you meant one with one hindleg. In vaguely related news, I have seen (on YouTube) an impressedly nimble cat which had lost both its legs on one side, so there was one foreleg and one hindleg. It had a hopping, galumphing kind of gait and could move pretty close to full normal cat-speed, though of course the different would matter if it and an intact cat were both trying to run flat-out.
I know there are documented cases of 2 legged dogs managing to run (The example I saw was missing it's right legs, and still managed to achieve a pretty respectable speed). On the other hand, I doubt those dogs achieved what they did overnight. On my ethereal third hand, this is a comic strip, so Biscuit managing to crawl his way there isn't too unreasonable.
Well, the comic is going to be up before too long, rendering most of this discussion moot, but I'll note Thunt released a small preview...
Maybe he's going to dive off the cliff. With his HP restored, he could take it. Find the blood orb. Get his leg back. Kill the BBEG. Save the girl. I'm a firm believer biscuit can still have it all.
Yeah, the dude with the green chest tattoo. He is Grem's right hand man, in pretty much all of Grem's appearances Cole is somewhere nearby. Once he was even seen working as Duv's bodyguard.
First Appearance
Charging some Hobgoblins
Name Revealed
Duv's Bodyguard
Protect the Prince!
That's what I said. :smalltongue:
Yes, I did indeed mean a dog with one hind-leg. Sorry for the confusion.
You take -10 to physical checks like Swim, Climb, and Jump if you're missing a leg.
He could still leap attack.
If he hadnt hurled his weapon at grem like that he could have used it as a makeshift crutch and weapon. He uses it to move around, then balances on one leg and chops people in half with it.
Update...
SpoilerOh come on! That's just plain stupid! Orc falls, you die. :smallmad:
What's next? A dire crow drops a beak full of healing potions on saves, grem and dies?
SpoilerSo Dies really did chop off his hand...I thought that there was some question whether he's actually go through with it. I was expecting a last-minute plea from Junior. Wonder where the blood(thirst)y thing is now. And it really looks as though both Grem and Fox are going to die because of Biscuit. Maybe letting him out of demon captivity wasn't such a good idea....
SpoilerThe idea that Duv might have been killed by biscoctus ex machina is the funniest thing to happen in Goblins in years.
SpoilerEhh, seems a bit werid to me, though i suppose it works. Although it kinda comes at horible timing from an in-character point of veiw, it kinda looks like Duv was about to change her ways before the orc landed on her.
if she Survives (likely considering she is the chosen on of her god) then she is probably guna be piiiiised:smalltongue: Though it would save any "deus ex machina" claims i think as the orc wouldn't have killed her.
Quite frankly i would have prefered it if he had landed with Dies on that outcropping.
In OotS, we have seen Durkon use 'Cleric's Featherfall'.
Now, we see Orc Warrior's Featherfall.
Oh geez thunt, did you really need to crank up the dramatic tension even more? Now we have grem cut nearly in half, while biscut may or may not have eaten ALL the potions, dies horribly is dealing with having to lose his arm again, saves is bleeding out in a swamp, and duv, who may have been having a change of heart, just got flattened. Biscut is in decent hp but is missing a leg, ugh. I mean come on, what next? Will minmax and crew suddenly show up and try to figure out whats going on?
Well, didn't see THAT coming ahead of time. Funny though.
Well... that was unexpected...
Does anyone know the damage you take from a Orc falling 100 ft on your head? :)
As for Duv's change of heart: That was only towards Goblins, I don't think she'd view non-goblins any different. And then there's this big orc who just wiped out half of her clan including her son...
Do you really imagine a little change of heart would have made her any less pissed once she finds out about that?
As you can see Biscuit still has the mouth full of potions, so he might give one or two to Fox.
I sorta get the impression Biscuit didn't put much thought into that.
