This just reminds me of that whole fanfic thing that I think Thanqol wrote a while back where all the ponies went to a Clad club.

Here's a comic presenting an alternative for how the season 3 premier could have gone. I'd support it.
Episode 3.3 (Pool)
SpoilerHmm, dunno if it works on non-living things. I'd like to think not, but I guess it could go either way.
Bwahahahaha!! Brilliant!
Episode 3.3 (Pinkie)
SpoilerThat was one of my favorite points of the plot. Pinkie having a developed range of emotions and thoughts rather than being flanderized like her clones.
Episode 3.3 (Pool Again)
SpoilerI was under the impression the spell only works on ponies using the mirror pond, so to wrought some evil they first have to dip the target and get a clone. Then zap.
Episode 3.3 (Pinkie Relatives)
SpoilerRight, Nana means Grandma. Though Pinkie should have two grandmas anyway even if this is the same as Ganny Pie. I'm just saying this one was probably a gypsy with knowledge of obscure legends and songs. Which could explain Madam Pinkie.
Pony Destiny Generator:
You are Queen Pie, the Friendly Earth Pony, destined to Eat Equestria. :smalleek:
I think it already exists.
Episode 3.3 (the Wall)
SpoilerIt was brilliant, and so hilarious when it was presented.
Spike with popcorn thinking he can last was just icing.
Heeheehee.
S3E03
SpoilerI really liked this one.
S3E03
SpoilerIt was Granny Pie in S1E02 and Nana Pinkie this time. I'm going to go with two grandmothers myself. At least in New Zealand it's common to use a different term for maternal and paternal grandparents, though there's no consensus as to which term.
Edit: Why can't I stop listening!?

SpoilerSo, who else is wondering why Fancy Pants was in Ponyville?
Also, yeah, face like a previous gen pony, cute, but who would want to have that kinda face anyway?
Spoilerexactly...for example where i am one gets called Mamaw and one gets called Memaw
some places ints Grammy and Granny
because Daniel Ingram is a master of mind control
Fixed that for you.
Don't forget that Rarity...
SpoilerShowed up in the very first scene dressed to the nines in a brand new ensemble, and never invited Pinkie to come do anything the way the others did. I guess she was... otherwise engaged.
Ingram didn't write that. It wasn't even composed with MLP in mind. It was a generic network broadcast tune they grabbed for the promo, according to EQD.
I am Cranky Pie, Spicy Background-Pony destined to Scold Potions.
Well, at last count that's the 4th most insane member of the Pie family
Episode:
SpoilerI'm declaring it now: Nana Pinkie's full name is Pinkie Promise. She taught her granddaughter the secrets of the area around Ponyville and to never. ever NOT EVER NEVER break a promise
This headcanon is awesome and I'm totally stealing it if my Raripie shipfic every gets off the ground
To be fair, not a lot of competition on that front. There's Party of One, obviously, but that's pretty different in tone from every other Pinkie ep. Friend Indeed wasn't that great (except for Smile which I maintain is the best MLP song) and Baby Cakes brings up the rear. I'm not sure whether to categorize MMMMystery as a Pinkie episode or something else
Friend Indeed was The Smile Song. Everything else was setup for that and an example of it in practice.
I'd still give the nod to Party of One as best Pinkie episode myself. I think today's might have been more entertaining, but Party of One really stretched the boundaries for what these characters can do and was more powerful for Pinkie as a character.
[QUOTE=Lix Lorn;14240163]SpoilerYeah, because Pinkie is well known for self doubt.
SpoilerWell, not self doubt, but they've seen Pinkie upset and not-energetic before. I just thought it was odd that her friends would put "being sad" past her.
Psst, Silver. Um, I don't want to rain on your parade, but parasprites have already been discovered. :smalltongue:
Edit: Second try is "Fluffy Sombra the spicy brony destined to hatch fabric." :smallconfused:
Make sure you grab all the expansions is you do, the improvements are worth it. (It's also worth noting there are some very good Civ IV mods still actively being made; Civ V tended to appeal to a newer audience, and not so much of the old one (as it has more twiddling bits!)
However, one note with Civ IV - the AI plays a game of "gotcha" with you. It tends more to play to make you lose, rather than it win most of the time (and it has a tendancy to screw you worst on the turn of the autosave, so you have to go right back several turns to dig yourself out of the mess). Make sure you hit the random seed on reload setting when you start, Civ IV is kvetchy enough to warrent it.
Doesn't surprise me. Firaxis have always been fairly crap at loading times; I remember there was one promising mod I was playing in Civ III that I had to just give up on, because it was taking so long between turns... Civ IV was okay on that, most of the time, but on the big Terra-sized maps I play on, that can be annoying to reload, though usually it's not so bad between turns.Quote:

Yeah, s'that one (or at least the updated version of same). It like plays a couple of the pony song melodies (Art of the Dress is one, can't remember for the unlife of me waht the other one is, think it might be Winter Wrap Up.) I think it's nominally one for peace and one for war (and it starts with that when you reload. I think all the nations must have their own music or something, I dunno, I've only played with Equestria so far!)
Pfftahahahahahaha!
Somehow, I found that funnier than the (admittedly hilariously awesome) comic itself.
As Combat Colin would say at this juncture:
Ooer.
I'd make some comment, but you'd have said that if I'd taken War Droid number 89452...
You could do worse, boss!
Nocino?
Um... yes, Bleakliaaaaaargh! *slapslapslapslapslapslapSLAPSLAPSLAPSLAP*
I don't even have to tell 'im! I'm so proud!
Wardroid 3827, on the other hand, would be quite a catch.
Now, have a picture of OcataScratch awkwardly sharing earphones.
Jam is a deal Applejack doesn't have control over, it was already established by Granny
Cider: Okay you are mostly right here, but they were making a lot of money off of cider already just not as much as they could have.
Applebloom isn't very patient.
New episode
SpoilerIndeed.
He does good work, I like both of those episodes.
awesome
New episode
SpoilerSo that was really fun and entertaining. I was expecting a quiz but watching paint dry works too.
Pinkie gets more depth and acts in character and her physic defying powers are now canon. Why can she do this? Nopony knows.
The Apple being resistant to Oranges was hilarious. Looks like Twilight has her new anti-hydra spell. Fluttershy and her Merry Animals should be a fan-fic.
My only problem is why was that book hidden? It didn't need to be.
I am Flutterchaser the Generous Background Pony who is destined to Party with the Princess!
How normal. Lets try again.
I am Fluffyjack the Adorable Manticore who is destined to Eat Little Girls
Again normal.
I am Diamondbloom the Purple Farmer who is destined to Scold Equestria!
That's a little odd but still pretty normal. One more time
I am Twilight Armor the Striped Earth Pony who is destined to Discover the Crystal Heart!
....Why do all of these make sense? :smalleek:
Which games need Pony Mod?
- Crusader Kings 2, be the "Iron Hoof" Celestia or stab her in the back.
- All Paradox Strategy games (Iron Cross, Europa Universalis).
Victoria 2 got one too.(http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/...-Ponies-Ponies!)
There's at least four, actualy, two of which have ties with Fallout, and the original which gives every race a pony-like caste system.
Case in point: Giant Flying White Buffalos the size of elephants. Did I mention the flying? Because they can fly. And have horns and hooves and will generaly kill things in it's way. Three alicorns armed with steel? GWFB don't care.
SpoilerI could have sworn that when Pinkie Pie asks them what she really wants to do is at the end and steps back into her house she was going to reveal another painted wall and proceeds to stare at it.
"Did we really find the original Pinkie, or did we just selectively breed one with a drying paint fetish?"
