Leeeeeeeeeroy Jeeeeeeeeeeeenkins.
Awesome! Go Dwagons! Go!
Cliche but surprisingly funny.
Heh...you knew he was gonna do that...Silly Leeroy...
Interesting...Vinnie might suprise them with the whole 'bat' thing...not as effective as Stanley's setup, but at least they will be able to 'see' what is going on if they can keep the bats from getting murdered...then again...maybe that is why they took the time to waste the bat on the way in...potential scout.
I'm gonna love to see the aftermath of this as Ansom craps his pants at how effective the counterattack was.
Yay :D
Ansom's guys are in trouble. And we see the other coilition Leaders.
Cute soda branding.
Was the implication of the second panel that Bat 21 got wiped out?
I am sincerely hoping they continue that battle cry within the next few strips. That would be just perfect.
It was the bat's view from inside the dwagon's throat, so I am thinking yes.
This comic OWNS. Heee heeeeeeeee, I'm so excited. Why did I read this right before going to bed??
Also, I love that Parson is making 100% typical gametable jokes as his units go to real war. It's absolutely the kind of humour my groups would make.
Love the look on Zombie Jenkins's face.
How can the tool claim he's not evil?
You see, this is the kind of punch line that I love. It's totally in character, and yet makes a great pop culture reference.
I think, I might actually sig that one.
I love panel 8. The evil smiling dwagon, the somehow mangalike laughing uncroaked warlord - that's the way bad boys have fun when their enemies get their "hitsies"
Who is Leeroy and why is it funny? :smallconfused:
It'll be interesting to see what happens now that the 'little battle' has been joined. Given Ansom's near total lack of preparedness, and we're still not quite sure when he gets his daily alotment of moves (or we do know, and I'm just not remembering it), he's bound to lose most of his column.
And I know I'm not the first to say this, but I definitely won't be the last...LEEEERRROOOOY JEEEEEENKINS!!!
Please tell me you're kidding. If not, go here.
Hehe.... the view from the 'bat-cam' was a nice touch. Also a nice connection to the last frame of the previous page.
Now i wonder.... does Vinnie have a permanent link to all of his bats ? Does he have to 'switch channels' to look through their eyes ? Or does he just get a notification from his scouts as soon as something comes up and he just tunes in on cue ? Questions over Questions....
Lycar
Awesome battle cry. I can just picture the Warlord flying about slaughtering Marbits while yelling "LEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEROY JENKINS!" Awesome comic. I read it just for the story, but hilarity like this is an added bonus.
I loved the last panel. Absolutely priceless. Not only with the "LEEEEEEROOOOOY!" but also with his facial expression. Got me laughing.
Wow Thats great

Ok we do this hit them with that and then this now whe LEEEEEEEEEEEEEROY
Dude he just ran in!
I thought that soda can was some kind of device he was looking into. It's not branding if you don't already know what it is. Edit: I assumed it was Code Red since that's what he drank last time, but when I blew it up I finally saw the words.
As for the bat--it's looking out from the inside of a dwagon's mouth, so, yeah, I'd say it got wiped. :-)
Sure it does -- a reference to bat "radar" (actually sonar).
It looks like the "bat-cam" links to Vinnie give Ansom a bit more intelligence (in the military sense of "information") than Parson thinks he has. Whether that will make any difference, given that Ansom is off-turn, remains to be seen. It might enable them to pin down the location and configuration of the "party platter" dwagon formation.
Ansom might have a major problem holding his coalition together, especially if his original plan of a quick brute-force push through the walls is no longer an option, and they have to either sit down for a long siege (would that even work in a world where cities produce resources, or does a siege interfere with a city's functioning in Erfworld mechanics?) or go through the tunnels (into some nasty traps, possibly taking heavy losses for no perceivable gains for their first attempt... and second attempt... and third attempt...).Quote:

Oooh, cool 'security camera' effect Vinnie's got going on there. Also, the battle begins!
Nice one.

Erfworld is growing on me...it sure looks like Parson know what he is doing.
I wish that game was available as a computer game...I would so play it. It would probably be like "Warlords".
love it :D
Leroy Jenkins ftw!
bat-cam is cool. reminds me of the dungeon-keeper 2 possesion spell.
will be interesting to see Ansoms reaction when he learns whats really happening...
Bat*21 !
It's good to see the Erfworld creators know their classics :-)
With an Undead Warlord named Leeroy Jenkins, it really was only a matter of time.
. . . Jennnnnkins!
Besides that, the view of the faction leaders is interesting. I see Marbits, Superfluous Elves, Vinny, and three others. Let speculation begin!
Also, I think the radar vision is inside Vinnie's coffin. he's just climbing out.
