It's one of the risks when you half-read a forum at 3am and take it upon yourself to make a statement of absolute fact that implies all the other readers are unobservant fools  But thanks for sticking up for me!

Defusing situations is my hobby! :smalltongue:
(Where did I say that before? I hope it wasn't in this thread. That'd be lame.)

Yeah. It’s a way of suggesting perspective, since the characters aren’t supposed to be facing the readers all the time.

Re: Things you never noticed II: I never noticed the first thread
Eh, I don't think the bigger boots are supposed to be the boot closer to the audience, nor do they always match up with the bigger eye.* For example, #791 (see Roy's boots panels 1-6, 9, 11, & 12; Thog's boots in panels 2, 5, & 11). Either that or Roy and Thog are dancing while fighting, but the Star Wars references ended a while ago so I doubt it.
*It's worth noting that most of the characters with Roy's body type (Thog, human male soldiers, most male orcs, etc.) and other male Greenhilts, actually have inverted eyes. In other words, their "bigger eye" is actually the eye further away from the audience.

I just noticed that in strip 792, panel four, one of yukyuk's crossbow bolts flies up and seemingly bounces off of V's kneecap.

V cast protection from arrows earlier, although it seems to no longer have the pink bubble that shows up the last time V got hit by an arrow with that spell up.

The reason it didn't show the pink bubble is that he cast stoneskin, not protection from arrows (here, in the 8th panel, is where he casts it).

I didn't notice it until it was mentioned in-comic back here (6th and 7th panels).

You mean "Elan and Nale are both each other spelled backwards," right. Wait, that would be "rehto hcae htob," wouldn't it?

Re: Things you never noticed II: I never noticed the first thread
I just noticed that the apple girl gets more revealing.

Re: Things you never noticed II: I never noticed the first thread
You can see in this strip that Azure City's manholes have "Azure City Public Works" written on them.
Also, in panel 6 of this one, Malack is missing his nostril.
And here, Roy is wearing the dress clothes he wore for his date with Celia.
I've been doing a few re-binges of the archive to cope with the lack of updates.

I never noticed that the priest of Loki finished off one of the rogues Belkar was fighting with in the fourth panel of the second half of 611

Re: Things you never noticed II: I never noticed the first thread
Just noticed the other day that Durkon and Roy both refer to the Oracle as "he" here, when according to OtOoPCs they should still believe he's a woman.

He also finished off one of them in the last panel of the first half of same strip.

Huh? They remember him as a woman? But why? OotS can't remember him at all... :smallconfused:

The 2nd panel of the strip you linked was included to explain this discrepancy... but it seems Rich also forgot that he'd had Roy and Durkon apparently change their minds before their second meeting.

Re: Things you never noticed II: I never noticed the first thread
Then, there is two inconsistencies between the book and the online strip:
A. Oracle's gender (According to Roy and Durkon).
B. Roy and Durkon's remembering him her gender.
Weird. :smallconfused:

No, there is no B, because they remember whatever they think. That's why V remembers an aged elf with a blindfold.

Well, Elan said that "I think she was a girl. You know, in stories, Oracles are always female" in the first panel. But in the second panel...well, I don't have any idea. :smallconfused:

Re: Things you never noticed II: I never noticed the first thread
I only just noticed that Belkar seems to have lost his face in panel 2 of page 2. That, or he's taking a very good look at Haley's rear; though that is a possibility, based on his recent comments on Roy...
-
Re: Things you never noticed II: I never noticed the first thread
W-ell... there is a line by Haley's hand that looks to be his mouth, and it's possible that his eyes are juuuuust covered up by the bow...

The thing is, what Roy and Durkon think appears to have changed. They though “she” in OtOoPCs, but online they are thinking “he”. Which is just weird.

Yes, that bit's odd, but it's not odd that they remember a gender at all, which is what B was about.

It's just a minor continuity error. Personally I find the fact that Bozzok had a different name in OtOoPCs to be much weirder. :smallwink:

Yes, Belkar's walking off to the right in that panel. His mouth is visible; his eyes are hidden by Haley and her bow.

What, what, what's the name? I completely missed that and I don't have a copy handy...
