Wow. That's just perfect. Can I use that in my sig? :smalltongue:

...Sorry. No. I don't feel like making myself look stupid. :smalltongue:
Redscholargypsy.
(Hey - Games not over! Please stop posting roles and territory numbers. The wolf/s deserve a chance to play the game to the very end... I know if I was a wolf I'd be irritated.)
Redscholargypsy, I'm afraid it's you this time.
Trusting Murska worked out great!
P.S. I actually do mean that and feel free to sig it if you wnat.
Um, It's 5vs3 on votes, and depending on who is which country, I may still end up lynched. Lamech can you please vote against Hap, or someone else; this is getting rather close....
Hey I have an idea, I'll vote for the villager! So the wolf just has to come out, and I'll vote for the other guy. (PM's work too.)
hap_hazard has been lynched. It was a close vote too, he was only up by a point.:smalltongue:
So yeah, end of game. I'm sure I would have done better if I were not sick.:smalltongue:
Tell me everything I may have did wrong, and tell me about stuff I did right as well.
List of roles to come.
It was a bad idea to have a role called "14", as well as giving that role no nation. It was also confusing, as there was an empty 14 civilization on the map. Did EagleWiz even have votes? :smalltongue:
I thought it was excellent. The roles were a little vague and confusing, and I think the votes should've been more apparent to the players, but it was tied for the best WW game I've ever played (with Uncle Festy's Ravnica).
For next time, I'd have the Axis votes count for 1.5, perhaps, but they don't steal votes away when they kill. Perhaps also a running tab for civilization votes based on number, but keep the number confidential.
Perhaps, also, a role which can discern who is what nation (it would work for Axis or Allies, possibly both).
I like this vote stealing mechanic. Anyway I suggest considering making everyone's position public and having the wolves not steal votes on a kill. Would lead to some interesting tactics maybe.
I would also like to take full credit for eaglewiz's death. Also I think I may get to take some credit for Catseye's death. How did the whole lynch Catseye go down with the villager network?
I never formed a network, actually. The only people I actually contacted before outing myself were Raz, Wolf, Andre, and Dirk. If someone I knew was innocent was about to be lynched, I would have PM'd a proxy to stop it. I never did scry a wolf, though.
And I was rather apathetic to Catseye. I hadn't scried him, and we needed a replacement wagon.
Meanwhile, thousands of miles away...
"We did it! We finally did it! Bern has been destroyed, and the lands are now free of darkness!" "My friends, none of this could have been done without you. May Roland watch over you, and Saint Elmine bless your days. "Finally! Someone has paid for this outrage!!!" "Yes!! We did it, haha!!" *Kiss* "Whoa... there... I think there are laws against romancing your employers... whaaa!!" "Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...."
LYCIA!!!!!
I'm glad I joined. This was my first game like this in the oots forum, and is already not my last. I hope to play with you guys again, and would definitely play another game run by you szilard. Hope you're feeling better.
Edit: I think you should run another game with same mechanic but with nation numbers revealed and test to see how it affects voting. I'm also curious how you decided who was closer when three nations shared the border.
When more than two nations shared the border, I either picked two random nations, or the smaller ones.
I got the smallest nation right from the game start and never managed to take over even one continent. :smallfrown:
Well, I guess it fits Finland. :smalltongue:
I actually only got into contact with DC yesterday, so it didn't do the baner and seer much good to find each other.
Still, I had fun.
Could you post how many votes everybody had at the end?
Probably. I didn't bother changing it after Catseye had died, though that would have certainly changed who had how many votes. Huge oversight on my part, I must have been sicker than I thought.
Andre Fairchilde- 2
Catseye2121 (Before dieing)- 7
Darkcomet- 2
Dirk Kris- 2
hap_hazard (Before dieing)- 7
Lamech- 5
Raz Fox- 6
RedScholarGypsy- 2
Tired N' Drowzy- 3
Wolfbane- 7
Everyone else (dead)- 0
Also, what did you guys think of the secret roles?
I forgot to mention, as a Neutral Civilization, Lamech won the game as well.
It was definitely fun when Zar peter died and we were all surprised by the secret role. That uncertainty made the game ten times more fun.
I didn't realize how close it was. Had Catseye not died when he did, and they didn't miss night invasions, Axis could have won.
He told me that in chat. He said something to the effect of - "I'm being lynched. If you're a wolf, let your other wolves know I'm the beast."
And I responded something like "I'm not a wolf, but I am part of the good guys" or something.
So ZP was a wolf, then?
That's alot of points.
Verdamnit! Just as I started a spreadsheet. Good game.
