Lelin floats after Eric, buildings visible through her. She shoots another flaming ray at him, and increases her speed.
Eric dodges this ray and turns down several alleys heading towards the docks.
Lelin gestures with her fingers, sending a pulse through the air. A few seconds later, Amik runs out of the slums and follows Eric. Lelin lifts herself up until she is flying above the buildings.
Great more flying ladies chasing me I hate it when they do that. Eric continues to run into the dock thread.
Adder steps out of the station, "The mutt's lucky I was forced to be diplomatic about that." He says, adjusting his coat.
Baeleck wanders down the streets, with Feniar hovering next to him.
Fen, you want to go find Lycande? Seeing as she didn't turn up last night...
No, something's telling me she's in no danger.
Well, I suppose I can trust your instinct. Where to then, my feathered friend?
The hawk slyly grins a bit, and then flies up high.
I might explore this place a bit. You can go wherever.
He flies off in another direction. Baeleck ponders a bit, and then decides to wander a bit himself.
Karaki and Lycande leave the Apartment Complex and begin to wander the streets.
Lycande looks at the various different shops and buildings, reading their signs. They pass Sneaks, The Police Station, The Library and then The OmniShop. Lycande looks at the huge, castle-like building, before pointing.
What do they sell there?
Karaki hmms.
"I think... if I remember... they sell everything and anything."
Really? Hmm...
She looks over at the shop, but they keep walking down the street.
Karaki smiles, looking at shops.
Skjaldbakka walks out of Trog's, covered in sewage. He heads to the beach.
Lycande senses Feniar above them. He swoops down and lands a bit haphazardly on the ground. He ruffles his feathers.
Hey Fen!
The hawk stands up straight now, having just kept his balance on landing.
Hello again. I see you're having a good time...
Lycande smiles, and hugs Karaki, looking up at him.
Very much so... aren't we, Karaki.
Karaki smiles.
"We are indeed."
Don't mind if I join you, do you? I've not got much else to do.
He hops up onto Lycande's shoulder, already knowing the answer will be 'no, we don't mind'.
No, we don't mind.
The hawk chirps happily and ruffles his feathers again.
Karaki smiles to Lycande and Feniar.
"Ok, carry on walking?"
Lycande nods. They head towards the edge of town now.
Karaki smiles and looks around at the buildings.
Skjaldbakka returns from the beach, no longer covered in seawage, but smelly somewhat of saltwater, and drenched head to toe. He continues on to the Sleeping Elf Inn.
Lycande watches the various people on the streets move about their business. She then spots Baeleck pushing his way through the crowds.
Hey Bae!
She calls out to him, but he takes no notice. He shoves an NPC out the way and strides on down the road, looking furious. She gives a look of concern at him, and then Karaki.
Oh dear...
Karaki bites his lip.
"Uh oh..."
Sia glances over at Adder. I'm pretty sure that could have been handled better. She shrugs. At least we know how the parole bracelets work now. That being said, she gets eaten by Dead Time.
Amik and Lelin follow Eric.
They stop walking along. Lycande hesitates.
Maybe I should go and...
She turns back to him.
I'm going to see what's up. I'll meet up with you later.
She gives him a long, deep kiss, then looks up at Feniar.
Stay with Karaki, so I can find you later. I'll be as quick as possible.
The hawk salutes with a wing.
As you command.
She quickly rushes after him, as he enters Trogs.
Karaki watches her run off and sighs.
Don't worry, she'll be back.
The hawk hovers above him, looking down with his glowing eyes.
Karaki smiles.
"Hmm, So, how are you?"
Can't complain. Enjoying the positivley tropical climate here.
The weather isn't actually that warm, but it is much more bearable than the cold blizzard weather of Tirganach.
Karaki smiles.
"It's a nice place here. Summers are actually quite warm..."
Feniar nods a bit, still hovering as if suspended in air. Apart from his wings, he doesn't move or sway at all. A small smile grows on his face.
I think I might be staying around to see the summer...
Karaki smiles.
"Who knows what happens here. It's quite mad at times."
