Whiner fans are some of the most unlikable trolls I've ever had the displeasure of talking too (at least the ones online). They don't lke anything that doesn't result in the other team being utterly defeated. And when they do lose, they just start screaming "Five Superbowls! Lalalaican'thearyou!!!"

so um yeah...
eagles are 3-6...
not good when your team is completely out 9 games into their season :smallfrown:

When you have a quarterback who fumbles every time a defender looks at him, you can hardly expect to have a good season. I think Vick is done, along with Andy Reid. Didn't the owner basically say he would be fired if the Eagles didn't have a winning season?

I think it's more that the Eagles' offensive line is so bad that Vick is getting hit on almost every play. Of course he's going to fumble more often.

I would have to disagree. Aaron Rodgers is the most sacked QB in the league, and he has only lost a single fumble all season.
Yes, the Eagles' offensive line isn't helping Vick, but that also means that he starts scrambling more than he probably needs to, which leads to him getting hit more.
He also has a tendency to hold the ball like a loaf of bread when he runs about with it, and doesn't tuck it properly, which means it's easier for defenders to knock it out of his hands.
ION: Stupid rams couldn't even beat the Jets yesterday. If they'd done that, i would have been very happy today. That loss cost me about £500...:smallfurious:

The operative term of course is "more often". He's disaster prone anyway. The line isn't helping the situation, but let's keep in mind that Vick was brought in because his mobility was supposed to help minimize the impact of that problem. Put more saliantly, I think the issue is more Vick's fault and the poor line (because it is a poor line) is making a bad situation worse. BOTH are largely Reid's fault.
Yes, the owner did say that a losing season was not acceptable (I seem to recall linking it earlier in the thread) but it remains to be seen if he'll follow through.
Yesterday was my first chance to watch the Chiefs this year and boy... you can see why their record stinks. When you make the Bengals look professional, you have issues. It's hard to line up the team I saw yesterday with the one the pre-season 'experts' were calling a late-playoff team.

Gambling is a vice; losing on the Rams? That's just to be expected.
Oh, where have you gone Kurt Warner?
Re: NFL (pronounced Niffle) Thread.
Two years in a row now, the Bears look like they're set to be a top team, then Cutler goes out and they bomb. I don't care if you stink, Bears, but why did you have to stink against the 49ers!?

My wife's theory is that they let him be sacked on purpose. They did a better job protecting Fole than him, for god's sake. Also, the tension between him and Andy is pretty bad.
I have a feeling Andy will be gone next season though.

i REALLY hope the eagles do poorly the rest of this year. we NEED a regime change. It looked the change would have been last year but we had a late season win streak :/
as for vick fumbling a lot, i think its half his fault half the offensive line. Watching the week 10 game it was kind of pathetic, the man has no time to get the ball off!:smallfrown:

Hence my wife's theory. The offensive line was much better as soon as Vick was off the field.
