Re: Phantom of the Opera Werewolf - Game Thread
End of Night 2
Normally this is where I, your narrator, would put some story of what happened in the night.
However, I thought that this clip, would do a better job of that than what I could think up.
Summary: Happyturtle was taken by the Phantom, she was Christine.
Day three begins and ends in 48 hours. HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

Re: Phantom of the Opera Werewolf - Game Thread
Oof. This is not looking good. This is why we try to keep our lips sealed, with regards to power roles.
My spreadsheet isn't giving me a whole lot of info, with only 2 days. Murska's voting record wasn't very telling. Anyone got any thoughts or info / suspicions?
I'd rather not get keep on random pointing at day 3, but I don't want to counterpoint either. Both ways tend to not provide any real results.
-
Re: Phantom of the Opera Werewolf - Game Thread
Is that Christine as in Christine or is there still a chance that Happy's the fool? (In other words, are we as screwed as I think we are?)
As for suspects, I point at Fleeing Coward.
He pointed at Murska on day one (only a wolf would point at another wolf first day), changed to happyturtle after she claimed a power role (only a wolf would try to kill a power role), made a third change to a villager (wolf trying to cover his tracks) and waited until Murska claimed wolf before voting for him (wolf hoping for a second bandwagon to save Murska).
Can't get more suspiscious than that

Re: Phantom of the Opera Werewolf - Game Thread
...wait, wha? you pointed at yourself!? *groan* llama logic abounds, it seems.

What llama logic? Everything I said makes perfect sense. Also I've done this to myself as a wolf too so that's even more incriminating evidence against me.
If you really want other leads, I could always point at you instead - with the baner dead, I doubt there's anyone who really wants to draw attention of the wolves to themselves by been as vocal as you have been the past day, unless you're a wolf that is.
-
Re: Phantom of the Opera Werewolf - Game Thread
Sigh. Here we go... again. I'm not getting mired in the "no, you" debate. I've been using logic to try and keep the bandwagons away from people who are almost surely villagers.
If you want to look at records?
Day 1? Intentionally threw my vote away. Day 1 points are meaningless.
Day 2? Voted for Murska. BEFORE he came out.
My outspoken? To try to get villagers to not lynch Happy. Main 2 reasons? 1) She could be lying about fool, in a futile attempt to save her skin from wolves. That was spot on, as she really was Christine.
2) Either way, the wolves will need her dead, so why not make them do the work for it?
As it turns out, she was not only a villager, but a power role villager.
If coming to her defense is now deemed as... suspicious? Meh, so be it. I've been outspoken in every WW game I've played in. Ain't gonna change it cause of a dead baner. Wolves want me dead? They'll have to do it. That gives everyone else 1 more turn to form a network.
EDIT: I hope the first half of your message was tongue in cheek. Cause it's suspiciously like an admission of being a wolf. The only reason I'm hesitant to believe it is that I can't for the life of me figure out why the heck a wolf would do that.

Re: Phantom of the Opera Werewolf - Game Thread
First the Viscount de Chagny, now Christine ... why, why why could they not have taken Carlotta, the insolent cow!
((Hrm. Hrrrrrm. Jontom Xire. This point subject to change and persuasion.))
-
Re: Phantom of the Opera Werewolf - Game Thread
Eh hem. *clears throat and possibly head*
I still think Shadowcaller is suspicious.

Re: Phantom of the Opera Werewolf - Game Thread
Wat ze ghell iz thiz!
We havv only found a zhedoww. Ands now, Ze Viscomte! Ands
giss gerlfggiend are lozt! Lozt!
You, you Fleeingggg Cogggward!, I
Shallenge you to a Duel! En Gárde!
EDIT: Eh, what?
Fleeing, I just noticed, you voted for yourself AND you gave proof that you are a wolf?
WTF?
-
Re: Phantom of the Opera Werewolf - Game Thread
Guess I'll point at Crimmy then. (More proof that I'm a wolf - only a single person pointing at me in nearly 24 hours and an immediate point switch to stop any potential bandwagons )
-
Re: Phantom of the Opera Werewolf - Game Thread
Unless Fleeing is trying some sort of 'I'm making it so obvious that I'm a wolf that I can't possibly be one' defense to slide by I don't know what he's thinking. Either way pointing for yourself if you're not the phantom only hurts team good, and anything that hurts team good is bad. So I'm going to change my vote for Fleeing Coward for now. At least until we figure out his ultimate motive.

Hmmm... Talic for this post. Putting that information in thread could only be helpful to the wolves.
Yeah, it's not much, and I'm anything but sure, but it's all I got right now.

Yep, you caught me, I'm trying the too obvious to be a wolf tactic here to make myself not suspicious.
Seriously though, I'm actually the beast here and am planning on taking the last person to point at me down with me so better get in your votes quick if you want to live :smallwink:

Fair nuff. I doubt the lack of that post would have saved her though. Wolves generally don't play around with power roles. Anyone representing one usually goes down quick. Only way they survive is if the baner stays hidden and alive, and... yeah. Wolves wouldn't have even chanced it.
That post was mostly made in response to someone who took Happy's post at face value. More meant as a "never take anything at face value, especially when they're staring down the barrel of a .45."
As for the above post? Well, ask and ye shall receive. Fleeing Coward, for admitting wolf, even if it is in jest.
I don't play around with those roles either.

Re: Phantom of the Opera Werewolf - Game Thread
I think I'll vote for Reindholt
-
Re: Phantom of the Opera Werewolf - Game Thread
-
Re: Phantom of the Opera Werewolf - Game Thread
Well, if all I've said ain't enough to get myself lynched today, I'll change my vote again because I'm a wolf grasping at straws here and trying to get a villager lynched instead of me.
Reinholdt
((And to the person who asked and any potential people who may ask, I'm not the day baner. I just felt suicidal at the start of the day and I'm just following through on my choice, stupid as it may be.))

Re: Phantom of the Opera Werewolf - Game Thread

FC seems a bit too eager here...
Crimmy

Re: Phantom of the Opera Werewolf - Game Thread
Either the world's most spectacular backfire, or a beast that's not very tactical. Either way, we'll see after the day ends what happens.
-
Re: Phantom of the Opera Werewolf - Game Thread
Fleeing Coward clearly just no longer wishes to play (like a fleeing coward). Either that, or he wants to shoot his own team in the foot for kicks.
Which team that might be is probably indistinguishable.
That, or it is some kind of refuge by reverse psychology, in which case it most certainly isn't working.
-
Re: Phantom of the Opera Werewolf - Game Thread
Nah, I think he's just slinging mud at anyone who disputes him. Don't wanna look dirty? Let him be a "wolf". We'll know soon enough, he's got the most votes.
-
Re: Phantom of the Opera Werewolf - Game Thread
Fleeing Coward. Seems to be a wolf, IMO.
-
Re: Phantom of the Opera Werewolf - Game Thread
Back to Crimmy again I guess since it looks like I still have a minor chance of living despite all my claims to been a wolf/beast.

Re: Phantom of the Opera Werewolf - Game Thread - This is weird
End of Day 3
In an attempt to calm the cast, the managers have organized a masquerade.
"André? Is that you?" "Yes. Firmin right?" "Correct my friend. Well, this seems to calming people down." "This is much better than the junkyard business.""Scrapmetal." "Sorry. Now who is that, wearing that red costume?"
A man wearing red robes walks down the stairs to a little ballet girl and her cat.
"Have you missed me, Good Monsieurs? Did you think that I not exist? I have written you a opera: Don Jaun Triumphant!" The figure throws down a bundle.
"Fondest greeting to you all, just a few instructions just before rehearsals start. Carlotta must be taught to act, not a normal trick of struting around the stage. Ubaldo Piangi must lose some weight, its not healthy in a man of his age. And my managers must learn that their place is in a office, not the arts. Do not fear, Miss Daaé will be returned to you for rehearsals and the opera itself." The figure takes a few steps back, and disappears in a blurst of fire.
"That's it!" "We quit! Its not worth it." The little ballet girl and her cat, André and Firmin flee the Opera House.
"Now who is going to run the Opera house?"
"Hello. I was given by the managers before this night their word, and in legal writing, that the Opera house is mine, if they had to leave."
"Carlotta, do you know what you are getting into?"
"Silence! This place is mine now, and we will do things my way."
Summary: Fleeing Coward was lynched, he was the Red Death, and he took Reinholdt and RabbitHoleLost with him. They were André and Firmin.
Night 3 begins, and ends in twenty-four hours.
I have gotten word from Crimmy and Tired n' drowny about the trophies. Please decided which one of you are doing them.
