I like it. Science is a study of how the universe works, and in this universe, the answer is Magic. Reminds me a bit of tales of mu, an online story (look it up if you dont mind large amounts of graphically depicted sex and occasional (read constant) bdsm elements.))
A glowing review, to be sure.
I'm glad you've taken the magic-science thing to it's natural conclusion. Wizardry being based on intelligence and containing details of what natural elements are needed to get effects suggests (to me) that DnD magic was always meant to be based on science, a little bit. It's nice to see somebody commit to the idea rather than footing around it.
"Tinder, you can't eat the rooster"
Love that line.
...*Cuddles and snuggles Tinder*
Tinder: AGH!
I drew a picture
That's... interesting. You have a real strange style there. xD I like it.
Reminds me of Hark! A vagrant a little. xD
And I managed to get the update done today!
#156: No Checks Necessary
This is the part where I /facepalm at Matt.....
LOL. That is all.
Love the last line:smallbiggrin:
it never gets old.
Prediction for an upcoming page:
We see an unknown man going about his business. He is jovial to all and intensely polite. He does people favors at least twice. Perhaps he untrees a cat.
"Here you go, ma'am. Snuggles is safe and sound."
"Thank you so much, Johan!"
"Well, see ya."
"Such a nice boy..."
Ironically, the fact that he was trying to work out how not to offend her conclusively proves that he's trying better than he could have deliberately. xD
Although he seems to be trying to figure out how to do this without being killed, this is still funny and sweet. This may actually be a CMoH.
Crowning Moment of Heartwarming.
Ah. The most logical thing to me seemed to be Crowning Moment of Heroism, but that didn't fit, and it was stepping on the toes of Crowning Moment of Awesome.
That doesn't really seem like a crowning moment of Heartwarming to me. Plus, I was under the impression tropes like that were getting reorganized since they had been turned from legitimate tropes into complete "Your milage may vary" territory by the sheer number of things that were put on there.
Ya. Indeed.
Looks like we're in for a LOTTTTT of character development.
Good.
Note-That picture is hilarious. HI-lar-eus.
So guess who figured out all the names of all the main characters of the sequel today?
ummm I would say... me? :smalltongue:
Not me. I usually get relatively close to finishing the original work before doing stuff like that. Then again, I'm talking about my half-finished novella, and you're referring to a webcomic with most of the exposition already available to the public.
Sequel? Sequel. Hallelujah!
I agree, though. While this particular comic did have a rather... let's say, heartwarming element to it, it seems more like the buildup to a "CMoH", rather than one itself, perhaps next comic. We still need to see her reaction, after all. :smalleek:
Oh, not me at least. I have a bunch of stories with all the name characters still nameless...^^' Should really bother to do something about that some day..
Btw, I remember mentioning (quite a while ago) that I had a Riley fanart lying around somewhere. Now it's finally finished,:smalltongue: here:
I'm not sure if he's a spellcaster, just assumeed so:smallwink:
